JACQUES IWas scheduled to pickup the vehicle at 10am, originally in Bozeman. Was called the day before telling me I had to back track to 3 forks to now pickup the U-Haul there. When I went to that new address the next day, nobody was there nobody answered the phone number provided. Contacted U-Haul no assistance, called back several times, finally got a hold of Kyle, he was very helpful. Unfortunately the keys were left in the vehicle unlocked with Jo prior instructions for this. Kyle was able to check is in on line. After packing up and driving towards CDA the check engine light came on, stopped to get it checked out was told it was a cataleptic converter was no concern. After driving to CDA and unloading I contacted the U-Haul number to return it, I was then told I had to drive to Spokane over 30 miles away because the CDA and Post Falls locations were too full. I specifically told the agent that was fine but I wasn't adding more gas because that's not my fault. I wasn't still billed an additional $38 for the gas and additional miles. I am very dissatisfied with my service and experience with this company, this is the first time I have rented a U-Haul. Please train your employees to be helpful! I dealt with 5+ people during this transaction all of which were awful other than Kyle. I hope you are able to fix this for future customers.
ashley yNot a problem with this location but the u-haul computer system tried to charge me an extra day even though i returned the trailer on the day and essentially at the time u-haul had wanted. The agent said she corrected the issue for which I am appreciative

Cami aStart with firing the rep I worked with today. Horrible customer service. I've left a public review. Your unprofessional short lady worker tried to rush me off the property at 5:15 when you guys close at 6. She grabbed one of my toolboxes and tried to set it on my tailgate insisting she help me, told me to hurry up, and stood there like a baboon staring me down. Most uncomfortable two out of the five minutes I spent on the property that afternoon. I rented a 10'. I had enough tools to fill a 5' truck bed. I was moving no faster than when she was standing over me rushing me out. Lady, you need to stay the hell away from customer service. I work directly with trauma victims and was responding to a call today. I spend tens of thousands of dollars at UHAUL doing what I do - and I will never, EVER come to this location again nor spend a dime here after having the misfortune of working with you. You deserve nothing other than to be fired. The audacity for you to tell me to hurry up not even five minutes after I pulled in and handed you the key, and then you proceeding to touch my equipment is a joke. I hadn't even been there for two minutes loading my gear back into my personal vehicle before your useless self came out and tried to order me out 45 minutes before your business is posted to close.

TYLER CAs of returning customer to U-Haul I was quite actually surprised at this location that there was no help on hooking up there was just one person one female to work with me at the desk the tongue on the trailer was quite heavy to pick up and put on my truck which was not an issue but just very surprised that the lack of help at that facility
JAMES LWe were charged for cleaning that was not justified, horrible communication with employees. We cleaned the truck before dropped off.
THOMAS WWe got offered to take a trailer from Spokane to Kelso which helped a lot with the cost of our move.
JEFFREY KI dropped off my auto transport trailer on the same day as the rental, Tuesday, 08/27,2024 but my return was not recorded until Thursday, 08/29/2024. The lady on duty was very rude and required me to move the trailer to another lot which required me to drive on the sidewalk and then directed me to move the trailer twice in a small construction area over broken concrete. Because she didn't log my return for two days it was not available for U-Haul to rent and who knows who could have used it and possibly damaged it after my return at 4:00 PM, on 08/27/2024.

Jeremy VThis was an awful experience - They didn't have my truck so I asked if they had a larger one and they said yes - a 20ft was available. They said my rental had been updated so they couldn't rent the 20ft truck to me and sent me to a different location. I went to the other location and they also did not have my truck. I again asked if I could rent a larger truck as I needed to meet my movers and couldn't delay. They didn't have a larger truck to rent and ended up sending me back to the 1st location. I would not recommend this 1st location. The attendant was not helpful at all, seemed like they didn't want to hassle with me, and couldn't answer ANY of my pricing questions. All I wanted to know is if she could assure me I was getting the 20ft rental at the 15ft price.
Janette AThere is a sign on the wall that says guaranteed right location, right time, right equipment, with the MANAGER'S SIGNATURE ON IT. I reserved a truck and a furniture dolley a few days in advance and then was told the dolley was not available during my 12PM pickup and that they were out. I quite literally pointed to the wall and the employee stared back. No effort was made to rectify the situation and we had family in town to move for just a few hours. Luckily we were able to move a large armoire without injuring ourselves, but had definitely been banking on this to assist our move. I promise I'm not typically a Karen but if you have a written and signed poster on the wall, probably best that your employees have read it prior to customers pointing it out.
Madelyn QThe rep made one effort to call the day before whereas I called Uhaul twice to confirm as the stupid website hung up on entering my check in; the agent/Derp finally accepted (it was July 4 & yes, I asked Uhaul about that) that I could not remote in as the site was not working. I have a Uhaul account & have used Uhaul at least 10 times in the past 20 years. I am no newbie. Improve? Get your trucks as needed, tell customers that there is no guarantee especially not in Spokane, and for goodness sake, upgrade your retro we site & check in. Right now my only positive remarks are about your boxes or supplies.

DANIEL AReturning the vehicle with the app was sub-standard. It crashed several times, before i was able to finish the return and had to start over each time. I had fantastic cell coverage at the location, not sure what was going on, but what a pain. Really disappointed.

ROXANNE GInterior of the truck was clean, exterior was a mess with bugs all over the vehicle. Windshield was not even clean and I had to stop at a gas station to clean it enough to drive safely. Front desk staff was pleasant to work with.

Jess KWe had a lot of rain on the drive and the U-Haul leaked in the front and the back. Not sure if the weather seals need to be replaced or if these just leak but I will know for next time to put things in plastic to protect them. Should maybe mention that to customers as they rent. I had to return two blankets that got wet also but she was friendly and excepted them. Thanks again
Todd KThe operator of the place ran the trailer hitch into my car, causing a divot in my bumper. It was obvious that it had happened as they had to remove it from the bumper of my car and could clearly see the damage from the impact. Nothing was said to me, no information was exchanged. I had to call U-Haul Corporate to find out who is in charge of the insurance for damage claims. This place was not very well run.

Elina SThe van was filthy and disgusting. I had to contact customer service for help. The location felt unsafe. Trucks and vans are parked on a platform from an old burned down business with not appropriate ramp/driveway so you just has to figure it out. There appears to be someone living in a van/storage unit in the parking lot and possible growing or just smoking a lot of weed. There are many many locations in this area and I will probably avoid this one going forward even though I have used them a few times in the past. There was a different person at the front desk this time so I don't know if management changed and that impacted things but it just was not pleasant anymore.
DOUGLAS LWe arrived after hours and the mobile app was great for dropping off the truck. But the parking lot was small and it was quite unclear where to park the 26 ft truck we rented. The drop box location wasn't very evident, either.
Jeff OBe straight forward. Tell a person how much your going to charge them. Don't give them a low ball ass quote and tell them it's all good when they return your shit. Stupid lady said I was paid and good now I owe you fags another 100 dollars after the fact. If I don't pay it then I get late fees. You guys are fucked up. Get your stupid 39,99 off the fucking windows it's scam. 29,99 if you rent the fucker but don't actually drive it or look at it. 藍藍藍. Oh plus an 80 dollars fee for handing the keys back. You guys are bullshit. Just keep it real quit scamming on people.
Jesse TSent me to wrong location , I ordered boxes that I was charged for but when I arrived at the facility to pick up my truck and after being sent to a different location I was told the location I was sent to does not even provide boxes and I'd have to travel all the way across town at a dollar a mile on my own dime to pick up boxes but so I ended up not buying the boxes was also overcharged for the rental and absolute nightmare I'll rent a home Depot pickup truck in a few Mexicans out of the back of the building to move myself next time

Daniel GHad a small hiccup where I was billed for extra days because somehow the truck did not get checked in when I dropped it off. Was lucky to catch the error of the added charge. A quick call and within 20 minutes it was reran accurately. Very good customere service/responsiveness.

CHARLES BAppreciated willingness of staff to accommodate "transfer" of appointment from one location (E Sprague) to this one after reserved truck at E Sprague location had empty gas tank - presumably siphoned by vandal/theft. - with no equivalent vehicle available at that location. Would have been a bonus to have mileage calculated from original location vs actual location but was next closest so only added a few miles to our cost. Staff person working Sunday 11/6/22 was polite, efficient, and thorough. We got the job done. Merci.

He helped me understand why I paid it and even felt sad the tax is so high for everyone. Extremely customer care oriented. I appreciate people like Dan who take there job serious and important to them and their customers. I wish I had rented the truck from him.
