There was a homeless man sleeping in the uhual when I tried to pick it up. The back of the U-Haul had a foul smell. In the future these uhauls need to be more secure so this won't happen.

The location changed the day before pick up and it was 6 miles further away which made my round trip 30 minutes longer.

When it rained… the trucked leaked on the inside and 98 % of my items were slacking wet and some items had to be thrown away

I had the absolute worst experience. Was switched to this location 2 days before pick up. When I arrived to this location, the cashier sent us away, stating he didn't do U-Haul. Confirmed at another location that we were correct. When we went back, he told us there was not a 20 foot truck we had reserved there. So after 15 minutes on the phone with a representative, they were unable to locate a 20 foot truck. So we changed our order to a 15 foot truck, which took another 30 minutes. We paid full price for terrible service and a smaller truck than we had reserved.

The agent at the location did not have the equipment I reserved, set up for self pickup. I contacted the actual company and the guy was told to set it up for 24hr pickup so I could get the keys. The guy at the counter said he would but after an hour of back and forth, he started smiling and laughed. Said he didn't know how to do it. The customer service agent went above and beyond for me. She got me the bigger truck for the same price since it was the only truck set up for 24hr pickup. She also made sure the discount was applied (reservation is guaranteed or U-haul owes you $50). I definitely recommend the company but certainly not this location.
