No adapter for. Trailer lights..had to buy one...then lights were not working...got stopped at 1AM by state highway patrol..would not let me drive until fixed..had to figure that out

Not happy with return. Place wasn't open, both website and customer service line were "busy" until way past the return time so I got charged for extra day. Not my best experience with uhaul by far.

First my reservation was switched to a different location. Upon arrival the saleswoman at the counter was slow, and treated us as if we were an inconvience. She couldnt find my reservation, argued with me about it, and I did not receive any printed documentation . It was a 180 from the great service I have recieved from the facility in Hermantown, Mn, that I had made my reservation with initially and have used many times before.

This is the WORST experience from start to finish. U-Haul literally made one of the most stressful times 100Xs harder than it needed to be. From not telling us that the original location verified would not have our truck and trailer, sending us to a different state with , legit double city tax (making it even more expensive....) to charging us hundreds of dollars more than on reservation. The woman at the pick up told us she couldn't help find which location would be closest to our destination.... so she reassured us so MANY TIMES that she can put it in as an undetermined drop off location and we could pick any U-Haul location to drop off at.... The uhaul was dirty, dollies were not strapped down. Truck WAS DIRTY. PEOPLE WERE RUDE, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE and that was just pick up. Many phones calls thought rental period were equally as bad, sadly. My complains won't be listened to, I've been placed on hold and had NO ONE come back to the line after the woman was so damn rude on the phone talking to me like I was an idiot while explaining the misinformation I was given at pick up, literally laughing at me. I am truly disgusted by this experience. U-Haul doesn't care about training these people, out about the renter, only about the money. It made my moving experience absolute hell. Drop off was the only thing that went smooth thanks to Christy at the Brainerd regional office. Everything prior to her was shouldn't have happened to anyone.

The 2 guys at pick up were so very nice, friendly and helpful. We are needing to do another move in August and he helped with ideas of how to lower the cost of the move. Great service!

Location poorly marked. Said the truck was 7/8 full of gas when only 3/4. Did not provide the dolly I paid for. Clerk was unhelpful and had a lot of trouble entering the payment, which went through twice. Truck steering was loose and made driving very difficult.

They indicated that they would not load our vehicle onto the trailer, even for a fee. They did, however, when we told them that uhaul in Superior would load it.
