The online check out/in was a bit clunky and not very user friendly. Took a bit to learn what was needed.

Jodi E.My experience with Uhaul was great. Sadly, the movers I hired through Uhaul were not great. Not only did they not respond to us for two hours as we tried calling multiple times, but when we finally got ahold of them two hours after they were supposed to start, the gentleman rudely said they “had some problems,†and when I said it wasn't ok that they hadn't let us know, he said “leave us a negative review then.†We had to scramble to find movers three hours late, which resulted in our returning the Uhaul truck almost two hours late. I would strongly recommend removing Top Choice Movers from your affiliation, as they are rude and unreliable and are giving Uhaul a bad name. Thank you for your time.

The next day when returning the truck the U-Haul website wouldn't allow me to add a photo of the odometer or continue after entering the milage manually. Someone needs to fix the website!

BRUCE A.Here is a problem that happened to me yesterday. Rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer. Supposed to be $29 got the $8 insurance I looked at my bank statement it was $81 I stopped at the location and the young man could not help. He had to call a manger at another store to fix the problem, system problem. He called and texted him and never got ahold of him I have used uhaul for years and never had this issue, but I would prefer this charges get taken off immediately. The system needs to be reevaluated. Just not right I signed a contract for one price and get charged another. When you get a chance please call and say all charges are dropped. SEAN P.The U-Haul app is challenging to use. It was a surprise to know I needed a passport to rent a truck. Especially after I have rented from U-Haul on numerous occasions.
Alexander K.Upon leaving the lot I noticed the gas amount was below 3/4 tank. I took a picture with the mileage as proof. When I dropped it off, an extra charge was attempted to be made against me for not bringing the truck back 7/8 full which was apparently reported by this location. Luckily I had proof. That's approx a $30 "error" on the part of this location not marking the fuel properly. You need to add this into the check in process where customers can take a picture of what the actual fuel is vs. what someone says it is. I assume it was done out of laziness or lack of attention to detail vs. actual malice, but either way, this process should be corrected.
Randy W.Not having pet hair in the rental. Even though I only moved clothing items I have to wash my items due to the pet hair in the vehicle.
MONIQUE P.Go figure. My van was supposed to have a full tank of gas. I drove a total of 20 miles. When I filled the tank before returning, it took 7 gallons. I was told that 3miles/gallon is standard usage. I don"t think so. Both the store manager and district manager were supposed to call but never did. I think this store should stick to shipping and receiving and not try to rent vans as a sideline.

Casey M.I have nothing but praise for the pickup and dropoff locations. However, the 800 customer service could improve greatly. I was transferred 5 different times, finally got to the correct person who took my info, then put me on hold. Someone came back on the line and promptly hung up on me. I was on the phone for over 2 hours and my issue was still not resolved.

CYNTHIA Z.After visits to the UHaul locations around town, I was hooked up with a new tow ball, had my tail lights fixed to accommodate the trailer tow, and got the trailer hooked to my car. All personnel at all locations were kind, efficient and made sure all equipment was installed and worry free!

Robert L.My problem was with the national company. To check-in my trailer I was supposed to get on the national website to let them know I dropped it off. There were four other people dropping off struggling with the website and couldn't get it to work also. I called the phone number listed to check-in equipment and was on hold for 20 minutes, finally someone answered and they “couldn't help me†so they transferred me to someone else, I waited for another 20 minutes to get someone else to answer and theyâ€couldn't help me†either so they transferred me to someone else, by this time my battery on my phone went dead and I never got to talk with anyone who “could help meâ€. The help was no help at all and the website was horrible.
