Either your gas gauge is off or your speedometer is off and my quote was for .59 cents per mile, instead I had the fortune to by .79 cents per mile. In addition the rubber gasket in the back of the van kept coming out. Do you really want to ask me how my experience was? My brother said that he was going to report U-haul to the Better Business Bureau.

This is a new place, the process was complicated and disabled persons cant be expected to lift trailers to their hitches much less any customer. enough staff is needed. Having rented from Uhaul for several decades the staff needed to move the rental pick up time out enough that it covers the time need to finish the rental process, mine was entered an hour before the time I left. Driving off the property should begin the rental time

The trailer I ordered was not available - it had not been returned by the previous renter. It was not the fault of this location, but still went against the “guarantee” of U-Haul having the scheduled equipment at the proper time. I had to use a smaller, less effective trailer, which was disappointing.

This was by far my worst experience with U-Haul. After setting up my reservation online about a month in advance, U-Haul changed my reservation 3 times. I requested a 15 foot truck with three pieces of equipment. My pick up location was changed once, my truck reservation was changed twice (from 15 to 20 to 26 foot) and I only received two out of three pieces of equipment upon pick up. Service was poor all round, as the only information I could receive from customer service and on site was that "it's the end of the month" and "inventory is low". As a paying customer who reserved in advance, I was totally disgusted by U-Haul's service and lack of professionalism. I will be seeking other moving options if I am to relocate again.

I came to this location with plans to go and pick up some furniture from a local individual. I rented the van, texted back and forth with the furniture seller about pickup details, and then drove appx 1 mile to put 2 gallons worth of gas in the van to cover my expected usage. Unfortunately, then the furniture seller texted me to let me know they had changed their minds and wouldn't be selling the tables, so i had no choice but to return the van, into which i had put unused gas and had only driven maybe 1 mile around the block, back to U-HAUL, unused. I asked the U-HAUL counter attendant, the same young man from whom i'd rented the van less than an hour earlier, if a refund or credit could be issued to me as i had basically not used the vehicle and indeed had returned it in BETTER shape gas-wise than which i had rented it! He went out and inspected it, must have seen the non-mileage i had put on it, as well as the positive gas tank status, and returned and told me that i could only get credit for the unused miles, which i'd initially estimated at 20. I just don't think this is completely fair, and though the real party at fault here is of course the furniture "seller" who apparently isn't clear on what constitutes a verbal contract, but it just feels wrong to pay 30 dollars to drive a van around the block a couple of times and i would think U-HAUL could do better for a repeat customer.
