The truck was parked in a private driveway next to the hardware store which I assume the owner resides at this house? The driveway was not clear of snow. They had several inches making it difficult to walk around the truck. The truck interior was dirty with mud and debris from shoes. The drivers side door was also open.

WILLIAM CARMICHAELOne out of three pieces of requested equipment were at this location. I had to drive to a separate U-Haul location to pick up the dollies I paid to rent. I recommend having all rented equipment available.

Will LopesA diagram of where the controls are in the vehicle would be nice. I know that most vehicles are similar, but I had to search for some of the controls because I rarely drive.
Suzy CaponeThe trailer had a faulty taillight. Rather than park the trailer, they sent me with the trailer to the main U-Haul store 'where they would take care of it". I would have been better off to walk away from this trailer and just go to the U-Haul store and rent one there.

I never write a bad review but the terms were not explained well to me, I paid a lot of money due to not understanding, and was also asked the night before my departure to drive a 15' foot truck instead of the 10' foot truck that I reserved a week before due to "not having an available vehicle". This was very inconvenient.
Emma JandreauThis review is not of the location or the workers there, but of UHAUL itself. The folks who helped us at this location went out of their way to help resolve the matter of getting access to the key-box. UHAUL never gave me ANY directions or code of how to access my key in the lockbox outside of this location. It took us OVER 2,5 hours to finally get the truck and the only way this was possible was because the owner of the location stepped in to directly contact UHAUL and give them a piece of his mind. I nearly had a full breakdown because UHAUL was refusing to help me gain access to the key to my truck. I would rate the location as average. Again, the workers here went OUT OF THEIR WAY to resolve UHAUL's incapability to provide anything beyond a Poor customer service experience. ALSO, UHAUL charged me TWICE. Complete BS.

Roger GriffithThe 24/7 app did not work for us, stating the driver picture and license picture did not match. We couldn't pick up our truck at 7 am as planned, and had to wait for the store to open at 9 am, putting us behind schedule. I hope I never have to use U-Haul again. The app ruined our move

ANN MAXWELLTruck was in good condition but trash was in the bed and on passenger seat. Also returned the truck with more gas than what was initially in it with picture evidence. Was still charged for gas and no response from the business when asked about it.
Scott BroadleyThe truck was full of ice and snow, and i had to scraoe the windshield. It was stuck on the ice and i had to physically push it out. The back was frozen shut and the attendant had to physically chip the ice away with a screw driver. Totally unacceptable, especially considering this was a reservation.
Keri KlineEmployee did not know I needed a dolly. After being provided one I discovered there was already 1 in the back, as well as furniture blankets, which I did not request. I don't think the truck was serviced before I picked it up since the windshield had a large ding in it.

David MicinskiThe consumer rep did not listen to my request creating a contract for 4 hours I requested 24 and when I returned the truck after 20 1/2 hours I was charged for 2 days I had fight with them and go to Pinr tree in order to have 1 day reimbursed I said I did not need the extra insurance but was charged for it anyway

Owen FeeneyThe Shared, online system didn't worked, the lot had limited cellular coverage, got disconnected and the end somebody from the location had to give me the keys, after all the painful online process. The van was extremely dirty, I spent some time cleaning it and couldn't have anybody sitting on the passenger sit, it was disgusting. They are trying to charge me $25 for cleaning just because I said it was very dirty! I'm disputing the charges, and no response so far, only this request to rate.

ROBERT POSTThe truck was not swept out when I picked it up, and I had to thoroughly sweep it before I could begin loading. There was constant belt serpentine belt slipping and squeaking, and under the dashboard vibration while I was driving empty from Bangor to Machias. Both increased when I was fully loaded and continued all the way to Phoenixville, PA..

Mike PastoreI was charged for and requested a utility dolly however when we arrived it was not in the truck which made moving more difficult. Returning the truck after hours was also a pain. To charge an extra $20 to wait until the following day and have the staff do the check out process for us is ridiculous. First time ever renting a U Haul and I can't say I would do it again.

Matthew RolnickThe store was closed when we arrived to drop off the UHaul truck, despite store hours claiming to open at 8am. Perhaps a change of hours due to COVID-19, however there was no sign posted about a change of hours, nor anything I could find online. We had to use the after hours online return option, which was relatively straightforward, though it took some searching to find the key Dropbox and we were uncertain about where exactly we should park the truck.
NICHOLAS CLARKThere was nothing wrong with the people who owned the location. They clearly did not receive proper training from Uhaul though. It took me over an HOUR to get my rental. This is NOT okay.
