Dave was great, then entire reservation/pickup location changing the day before was a headache. I know that there are limited trucks, but I had to drive over an hour to get a truck despite reserving at a location that was 5 minutes from where I lived. Dave was very helpful and made it better, but you shouldn't let people reserve at a location if it's not going to be available

STEVE S.Unlike last week's rental (6x12 ), the kid who took my payment and issued the 5x8 trailer did NOTHING. didn't hook it up, show me how; didn't check the lighting system to ensure they worked. He said he couldn't because of a liability issue? Seems the greater liability would be his NOT checking. Trailer hauled fine. Fairly easy long ride. My displeasure with U-Haul is twice in 10 days, the original pickup location was changed to a location 30 min away… 30 there, then 30 back to the house, then when loaded another 30 passing the U-Haul location en route. Just in gas, a wasted 5 gallons? Also, it'd be nice if your tie downs were a bit bigger or rings were installed to better secure loads rather than just the four lower corner rings? Oh well, hopefully no more U-Haul in my near future.

TAMMY B.I was scheduled to pick up an open trailer in my home town in Nevada, when I arrived the place was closed! I called U Haul to find out what was going on, The first time I called a guy answered and put me on hold for 25 min. then a lady answered I told her my problem and she could not help me because the guy transfers me to the California office. When I finely talk to a Nevada office they told me my trailer is to be picked up in another town that was 35 miles away! I never got a phone call from them letting me no the pickup was at a different location and was I ok with this after I paid $122 for the trailer. Needless to say I'm not happy with U Haul and will never use them again.
Brenda M.We had a reservation for pickup of a 20ft Uhaul in Hawthorne, NV originally. We received a text the night before that the truck size we needed was not available, forcing us to call customer service in which we were told the nearest Uhaul (70 miles away) only had a 15 ft uhaul. Upon pickup, the cab was unclean and just came in the night prior. After travelling, about 1/2 through our 1000 mile trip, the check engine light came on. Road side assistance directed us to continue driving if the light was solid. So we carried on. The truck did perform well inspite of the engine light remaining on.

Kenneth B.Call your customer to confirm that the location they pick have their vehicle before they come and pick it up. I have come to my first location to pick up my truck but its not there and they don't have anything for me. Then I went to a different location and the same thing happen. Also a small truck that I make the reservation for.
