Place wasn't open. I called the # on the door was transferred to an answering service. I was given another address to go to pay for my rental. My credit card was already charged before I was even given the key to the truck. I'm glad Beckworth variety person checked. He was very nice and helpful. I'd give him a 10 out of 10.

Service at this location was inadequate to say the least. Instructions on the website to pickup keys were wrong and there wasn't anyone at the facility to help. Lady on the phone was very helpful as much as she was able, however we waited for a very long period of time before a manager finally called back and mentioned where the keys were. Really unimpressed with this.

John VConfusing signage on where to park since containers and other businesses on lot. Returned on a snow day and the lot has not been cleared or salted. Got truck stuck in snow and was lucky to receive help from nearby neighbour. Spoke to staff on phone but were not present at location.
Nils DI was told I was going to be able to drop the utility trailer off at a location 15 minutes away from my destination, but ended up having to take it to Niagara Falls, which was an hour away and back.
Duane WI would have liked to speak to someone in person. The truck was not wiped down after the last person used it, I was forced to purchase wipes to clean the steering wheel and dash.
Lauren EMy drop off time was 11:30. I actually had the truck there shortly after 10. As the fates would have it, my phone was suddenly struck dead so I couldn't call to indicate I had dropped off. If I hadn't found someone to fix my phone I wouldn't have been able to call (which thankfully just before my 11:30 drop time).. If I hadn't have called, I'm curious what would have happened? Would I have been charged for another day?

BRYAN ROn Tuesday I went online and booked a trailer. I wanted the pick up location to be Exeter and needed the rental from Saturday morning until Monday morning. I called Exeter Uhaul to confirm my rental and they told me they didn't have that particular trailer available the days I needed (although it let me book it online?)Uhaul told me there was one in Goderich available for the days I needed, so we contacted that location. Goderich location said they "had one for us, we could pick it up after 5pm on the Friday and return it Monday morning." He said to "go online and cancel the contract in Exeter, I'll have the trailer ready". Friday evening , I arrived at the Goderich location and called him while I was in their laneway. He proceeds to tell me that he no longer had the trailer I wanted, it had been rented through the online booking site to someone else!? He could have called me to let me know, not wait until I drive 1/2 an hour to pick it up, then tell me! So, now i have no trailer and I'm moving my daughter to university (5 hours away )….I l look online, find a smaller trailer in London (an hour away from where I live). The London employee I dealt with was wonderful and the trailer was in good condition! I hope uhaul is working to update their online system to guarantee the equipment is available the date you need to rent it!
Debbie NBeware one-way rentals from U-Haul. The message "A local U-Haul representative will call you by [time and date] to get agreement on and schedule available time, equipment and location" is used by U-Haul to mean "Maybe we'll have a truck for you, maybe we won't." They'll take your booking and you'll assume that everything is set, then 24 hours before the scheduled pickup they may tell you "We don't have any designated one-way trucks." I will not use UHaul for a one-way rental every again.
LANCE RWas not given a drop off time so I assumed drop off was just before closing on the date given. If drop off needs to be at a certain time put it in the email.

Deidre ANo one was there. They charged me a lot because the dealer was not at the location and tried to do everything by phone. It caused lots of issues and extra charges fir me. After a loooong follow up, uhaul paid me back the extra charges.

JONATHAN ZIt's out of the way and there is no one actual person to ask for help. The online sign in was difficult to understand same with drop off. Also it can be hard to do the online sign in and drop off when the cell signal changes constantly making your data drop while trying to pick up and drop off.

Nithin NIt would be helpful if there was a poster with the instructions of self-pickup and self-return, especially for new customers that need to rent after hours but that never have done a similar rental process before. But other than that, the rental experience was really good!

It was changed last minute to Hamilton road, then when I arrived found out there was no ride share available there...after 30 min on the phone they sent me to the commercial Cres location. It went smoothly after that, but all in took me over 2 hours just to pick up the truck on the opposite end of town from where I reserved it. Was not happy. Truck was nice tho.
