They didn't have the size truck that I reserved. They weren't ready for us when we arrived at the time of our reservation. They weren't able to answer our questions regarding filling up the tank of the truck when we returned it.

If my scheduled pickup location is changed, the customer should be asked if (s)he is a agreeable tot hose changes. Form where I was originally supposed to pickup the vehicle to where I had to pickuo the vehicle cost me money in miles traveled.

When someone makes a reservation have a truck waiting for them. It took 2 and a half hours to finally get a truck after u said it was reserved

When someone has reserved a uhaul don't give it away twice and then have the customer run around for two and half hours as people are waiting to help move and the customer has no truck to move. Will never use you guys again. Completely disorganized on ur part

It was the worst experience I had. I put in for a 26' truck. I got to the location and they said they lost the key, unexceptable I put in for a truck 3 miles away from my house and you guys sent me to a place 20 miles away from my house. and the truck didn't work. then I had to get a 20' truck 5 miles up the street. it was a junk truck but I had to take it because I had to move out my house ASAP to my new house. the truck muffler had a hole in it, no lock, dirty inside and big graffiti on the side of the truck. I was the loudest truck on the road. I was totally embarrassed, a little discount would be greatly appreciate.

DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!! We needed to rent a truck. So we went the night before to get one. We were told that the truck we needed was being rented early the next day and due back at 2:30 pm. We said we could pick it up at 4:00 pm. I said what if the previous renter was not back in time? He said we would definitely will have a truck, no worries. So we made the reservation. My husband asked how much was mileage, the older man, told us there is no charge for mileage, unless it is a one-way drop off. LIE. The next day, we arrived a few minutes after 4:00 pm and the truck was not back, but they did give us the next biggest truck with no additional charge. Fine. I go out and the truck is filthy, hasn't been cleaned in I am sure a few years. I start the truck and it was in definite need of a new muffler, I pulled up next to our car to talk to my husband and could not hear my husband talking to me. I turned around and went back to the rental place. Told the person the truck was in need of repair. He said he could move our rental to the next truck there, but we would have to pay an additional $10 for the upgrade. I said, I wasn't requesting an upgrade, it was due to their lack of maintenance or their telling UHaul the need of repairs, that the truck was unusable. He called owner and the owner refused to move us to the other truck without us paying the difference. Since we were between a rock and a hard place, we said we had no choice, they said to contact UHaul for a refund, but they had to write it up with the upgrade. Their hands were tied. I get in the 2nd truck, it was also filthy, turn it on and IT ALSO needs a muffler and is extremely loud. Since we were running out of time to pick up the refrigerator, I just decided to drive it with the loud muffler noise. I drove directly into the development, to pick up my husband (about 1 mile), upon arriving at our home, the check engine light turns on!!! I directly drive back to the rental office to cancel the rental, since we did not want the truck to die on the highway. When I get back to the rental place, I said, " Please just cancel this rental, the trucks are not safe and we don't feel safe driving them." At this point, the first man was gone and the elder gentleman from the evening before, was now there. He said if we cancel the rental we will still be charged, since the truck left the property. I said we never got to use the truck for what we rented it for and we directly returned when the check engine light came on. We should not be charged, since we could not use their ill maintained trucks, which is their responsibility. He called the owner to tell him what happened. He got off the phone and said if we cancel he has no choice but to charge us for the rental, because that is UHaul's policy and their hands are tied. He gave me a receipt showing a charge of $72.35. Later that night I checked my bank and they processed the charge for $90.52!!!! A horrific experience. On top of all this, the three times I was in there trying to get things done, every time someone would walk in, they would stop processing my job, to go help the customers, which was non-stop. Finally, on the last encounter, I was getting upset, because time was running out to pick up our refrigerator and we still needed to find a truck to rent elsewhere and get the refrigerator. We had arrived at a few minutes after 4:00 pm and it took until 5:27 pm for us to finally leave. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Trucks not Clean. Gas caps missing on trucks. Failure to maintain the vehicles to ensure safety. They claim it is UHaul's fault, but they are the ones who are to inspect the vehicles and let UHaul know that repairs are needed. They can't fix what they don't know about.

The guy was so rude. I was late picking up my truck so he called me rudely asking where i was. When i got there he told me i had to bring the truck back at 5 because he had another reservation even when i reserved the truck for 16 hours. When i got in the front of the truck i realized it was so dirty. I took at picture. When i opened the back of the truck i realized he never put the dolly in the truck i reserved and told me i could come back to get it even when i was already at my destination and too far to return. He called me again and let me know i was late bringing the truck back after only 7 hours with no dolly but i was on my way to take it back anyway. When i returned i let him know i took pictures and sent everything through uhaul and i guess he didnt believe me because he swung open the door behind me to check him self. I will never go to this uhaul dealer again he was horrible. Worst experience ever.

The cashier tired to say that I could not drop off the trailer at their location. Also tired to say that I would have to pay more to drop it off early. I would not recommend this location to anyone in fact would drive out of my way, just not to use this location!

Entering fron NC Avenue is tricky. Very little patking space for customers. Vehicle was dirty. I wiped it down for my own safety.

I made the pick up reservation at a different location and wasn't told until I tried to pick up with my phone and it then said I needed to go to a different location 15 minutes away. Location didn't have the furniture dollies I reserved and then I was on hold for almost a half hour before I was able to get thru to someone to figure that out. Would have had to drive an extra half hour round trip to get them. Mobile check in process is also inefficient. Why did I need to enter all the driver's license info in when I made the reservation just to have to re-enter it all day of along with the extra forms of ID which could have been done ahead of time. Apparently I wasn't approved to rent until that all happened yet I had already been charged for the rental. The theory of mobile pick up is fine but it did not go smoothly at all.

Initial pickup site confirmed 2 miles from my place. Changed my pickup site 15 miles away, had to pay for Xtra miles, initial pickup was with app at 7am had to wait to 9am for inperson delivery cost me time and money for mover reschedule ....costly costly changes thank u so much U ball me ...

Worst u-haul experience of my life. Makes me question using u-haul again and instead go to another company. U-haul promotes the easy no contact phone app, instead I was forced to stand in a gas station for an hour (after I left with a u-haul that was unsafe and not serviced, I returned to get a new one and was told the other one was fine). People weren't wearing face masks, it was terrible and detrimental to my health. Why should I return to u-haul?

Get the price right. I was told Military discount and unlimited mileage. I found out later, neither exist. $70 should have been changed, instead $171 was charged. I'm in the process of a dispute

The person was nice that worked there but it is also a gas station, so he had to service you between customers. The dollies were out side and very dirty since there isn't a place to store them in the store. This wasn't his fault but I reserved 5 dozen furniture pads and U-Haul cane and took them and only left him with 18 pads. I had to run around town to get the rest of the pads. I was luck that I had room in my schedule to do that.

When I get sent a email showing my requested pickup time is 730 am, (took a uber to get there, by the way which cost a total of 25 dollars including tip), and then have to wait a hour and a half because they did not open till 9 am was not good, not good at all. Because of that, I had to push back my time for my trailer pickup (at a different location mind you), as well. Did not get the trailer off the other lot until 10 am, (I was suppose to have that done by 8:30 am). Once done with my rentals I went to drop off the trailer before my rental time was up, and that location had already closed for the day at 4 pm. My rental agreement showed my drop off for the trailer was at 6 pm, and I was dropping it back off at 5 pm. I had to then drive back to my house, to call customer service (a 20-25 min. hold time) and they were able to get a hold of someone to drop off the trailer, so then of course I had to drive back to drop it off. Overall it was not a very good experience for that day, especially when your trying to move and you have times set because of what my conformation email stated, I had people waiting on me that were willing to help with our move, and a moving day that should have started at around 9 am, did not get going until about 11 am. So the reason for this review is because I had everything set by what was confirmed to me through your company and your company dropped the ball on this one.

My personal experience from this location was great however before I came here I went to the governor prints location, they are the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. I would not even know where to begin with the problems and issues I had there. If a manager would like to contact me, I certainly would like to tell them all about it. I've used u-haul for my children and myself for over 20 years and I've never had a problem until June 30 the of 2020. Please do not go to that location, worst experience I've ever had dealing with u-haul.

They took money for payment off my credit card with out authorization to do so and before the car was even return back. So if you don't plan on having your credit card maxed out you might not want to give you credit card to put on file cuz they will take the money out without your authorization without you even knowing

The first reservation was for Wheelz in New Castle. I completed the self-rental steps online i order to get the key. Upon arriving to the truck the tire was flat. I had to call uhaul to figure out next steps and the scheduler was very rude and did not transfer the reservation as she stated she would. My movers were scheduled for a one hour move from 8:50 - 9:50 am. The second reservation was out of the way. I picked the Wheelz location because I had stuff in my car that I also needed the movers assistance with and it was much closer to my home. The representative at the second location kept stopping to help store customers despite me explaining the situation and that my movers were being paid to do nothing. When I finally got the truck from the second location and arrived at my storage, my movers had 10 minutes left in the hour and had another job and were unable to stay over the contracted time I had to pay them them $80 and they worked 10 minutes. I am super frustrated with the level of customer service I received from uhaul. The first location should have checked the van the night before to ensure it was ready, the scheduled should have done what she stated she would do which was to transfer the reservation and the second location under the circumstances should have been more accommodating. Uhaul you have to do better!
