This whole experience with uhaul will not happen again,you can kiss my ass we were told our truck at the location to pick up would be there truck and reservation were not on the computer list we made reservations to get truck in Watsonville no reception in area to pick up truck customer service sent us to altos to get another uhaul but did not give us address to pick up ended up back at Watsonville we spent from 10:30am till almost 8pm to finally your customer service woke up!!!VERY UNHAPPY WHAT YOU PUT ME AND MY WIFE THROUGH ON THE DEAD LINE THAT WE COULD NOT HAVE PROMISED BECAUSE OF TUE RUN AROUND UHAUL GAVE US I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ANYONE!!!!!Enrique S.

This location was wonderful but my experience with Uhaul was sub par at best. I had to go to 3 different locations before I was finally able to pick up a truck and it was still not the truck I initially reserved. I requested to pick up a 20ft truck plus a car transport and after a long.morning of driving from location to location i was only able to pick up a 10ft truck, no car transport.Breanna B.

I understand the need for no person to person contact with COVID-19, but your web site and smart phone technology is woeful. I spent about two hours confirming my reservation and picking up the truck...as your system kept crashing. And the people at your center in Fremont were not very helpful. Jordan did a great job for me. Got everything done fast and made sure I was happy before I left. I used the Ubox to store some stuff. What a great idea for me to be able to take it to my spot and then bring it back. I needed to access it and Jordan was able to pull it down for me in a matter of hours. I'll be back for sure.Brian P.

I found it without a problem a little confusing about where to park trucks when you're there on off hours so maybe some signage tell you where you're supposed to be parking the vehicleTodd A.
People at the pick up location 127, lee road are good! But the problem is with the people who assigned the location after I reserved it online . They Better inform about the location in advance to see if I am comfortable with it. I didn't get a call or an email until Friday afternoon and that is also after I called. The agents at the center who assign the location should be more responsible. Then the U- share app sucks ! I reserved it at 4,3 am and I went there at 4,5 am. Guess what, the mobile app didn't work. The GPS didn't find my phone or some glitch in the system. So I had to wait till 8,3 am until the store opened. That changed the whole day plan for me. I wouldn't reserve it early morning unless I needed it! Pretty bad experience.Rukshan P.

You don't have to do anything to improve your service at this location. The young men in Watsonville were knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I felt confident pulling away that the truck and trailer were in great condition for the crosscountry road trip.Cheryl S.

Uhaul did not have my unit at the original location when promised.. This was extremely disappointing. Uhaul directed me to an alternate location, 30 miles away, that had a unit available. Your agent was very helpful. This saved me from a disaster but caused a schedule conflict with my movers. Fortunately, Watsonville Self Storage was able to come through for me at the last minute. Uhaul needs to do a better job having units available when promised.Gary F.

If I needed a 7500 hitch for the veh I was going to tow which took a 2and 3/8 ball yet none of your trailers would accept a ball that big, so after spending 40 $for that, I couln't use it after all. So if I had to buy this and then couldn't use it I just wasted 40 $.Ernest W.

The reservations made for the Pod containers & trailer was incorrect and very inconvenient for our move. A two pod trailer was not available at this location. The inconvenience of having to drive to two locations was awful. I should not have to do that if the reservation were set in place. Uhaul did nothing to accommodate us. When you are moving and meeting deadlines the last thing you need is your moving equipment to be incorrect by Uhaul. How does this happen? Your service is to provide moving solutions. We were very upset, this should not happen to anyone else. It was a nightmare. One person to thank is Ivan from the Watsonville location. Thank god for his swift thinking and wonderful service. He called us personally to let us know of the discrepancies with our order. We would have driven one hour out to discover we has no trailer for our two pod. When we contacted Uhaul to rectify our matter they continued to transfer us to location that did not have what we needed. Why is there such a disconnect between customer service and actual location?? The location NEVER answer and then you get rerouted to CS again. Which they have no clue! Ivan is the only one that EVER answer his phone. I feel we need to be compensated somehow. I still have NOT received a call backs from any manager For multiple requests from locations in San Jose, Curtner, and the customer service manager. We had an awful experience with Uhaul. I hope when you ever move 500 miles away that you are NOT treated with such bad service. We will NEVER use Uhaul to move, rent or store our personal belongings. This was the most stressful and unpleasant experience we've ever had with a moving company. The box was five days late and no one could give us any reliable information on it. We weren't even notified of a shipping delay! If we had known it didn't ship out the day it was promised, we would have figured out a different solution for us. My husband spent his last night home before deployment rushing his deployment gear to the carrier because we didn't get the box until 5 o'clock, eleven hours, before his leave expired. No one claimed responsibility, no one could help us, we had no recourse, and everyone blamed every one else. The only person who made an effort to keep in communication was Terry in the Fremont office. The transportation company called to deliver it on Sunday and was told that location doesn't accept them on. Sunday after we were assured it would be accepted. Uhaul is a poor excuse for a moving company and we will be sure to tell ALL of our friends/family/clients/military acquaintances about this horrible experience. Your 50 $a day late fee doesn't make up for the hours we spent on the phone trying to track down our box, or the family time my husband missed the night before he left. Shame on you, U-haul.Emily M.
