confusion as to pick up site. computer booking told us one location,but we were sent to another location to pick up. No big. 2nd location not far away. used u haul because car rentals are not available one way.

DAVID JOHN S.I called uhaul the night before pickup to confirm rental. They informed me they did not have my reservation but that I could drive 200 miles to pick up what I reserved. Needless to say I was furious. The agent said to read the fine print that they don't guarantee you can get equipment. What's the point in a reservation then? If I'd have known that, I'd have brought my own trailer. We ended up with a smaller trailer. Made it work but not optimal. I'll never reserve again. Next time I'll just call and make sure I have a plan B option.
