The location of the key boxes was difficult to find and not clearly identifiable we doing self-checkout. The boxes should be located on the main building by the road not in the equipment yard. No signage provided to direct you to the key boxes. However, Joey, the employee working at the site was helpful and kind.Kathleen Y.
I had a horrible and very fustrating time finding a place to drop my trailer. The local Midguard on Ecusta Road refused to except it as well as several others in the area. This location was the only one that would take it and they are being over run by trucks and trailers. Uhaul needs to provide more support to this location and help them move out some of the over stock.Jennifer R.

I've rented several times over the years in various locations. This experience & the customer service was by far the best experience yet with renting a vehicle. I was fortunate to have a close to new vehicle which took all stress off about breakdown issues. I absolutely will use this facility again for any future needs. As far as commenting on any "improvements", I'd say the name threw me a little when it said a towing company. But when calling 2 other facilities & they all referred me there, it was not an issue.Lynn O.
This location served us well . We had a truck rented with an email confirmation. On the day of pick up there was no one at the ecusta location. After several phone calls we were given the option of going to the Davidson River rd location. In pisgah forest. This location took care of us well.Anna F.
Have the paperwork filled out correctly by the person doing the rental so the equipment can be returned where the customer asks to return it. I wanted to return the equipment in Florida and the paperwork indicated North Carolina. I pointed this out to the person and I was told it didn't matter and for me to call when I got to Florida to arrange the return.Greg C.
Not a thing. I needed a small vehicle in a pinch to move a piece of furniture. I'm not from the area and didn't know this location existed. I stopped first at a uhaul location nearer the main road into town, which didn't have one of the cargo vans. That uhaul rep checked to see if a cargo van was available nearby, and found one at 1108 Davidson River Road. He reserved it immediately, and I drove directly there. Angela at 1108 was GREAT. We chatted briefly while she was finalizing my rental. The cargo van was great and exactly what I needed. I returned it that same day with no issues. It was a great experience, and if I find myself in need of another cargo van in or near Brevard again, I will definitely go to this uhaul location!Annie M.
The online checkin process was more difficult than anticipated. It told me which lockbox the key would be in by didn't give me a code. Ultimately I had to go inside (thankfully the office opened only 30 minutes after I was scheduled to pickup the truck). The office folks were very kind.Jana E.

I reserved a 10' truck, but had to take a 15' after about 30- 40 minutes to process paperwork due to internet availability & difficulty completing uhauls contract. Truck bed was not swept out previously. Nice truck otherwise: everything worked and adequate power. Drop-off was uneventful: left key in orange box.Stuart M.

It should have been the place U-Haul should have given me in the first place, since it was closer to my property and I had to back track in order to get there. Make sure to triple check all gauges upon return. Take multiple pictures of everything! We drove 13 miles total and refilled van before return at the 7/8 gas mark. The total uhaul rent was about 43$. I was charged over $170 because this location made an error in reading the gas gauge and marked it at 3/16 tank. I had to take 2 hours out of my day to resolve this issue. The area manager who was at this location was not reasonable nor cooperative. We had to show up in person to explain this entire situation and how logically we could not have used as much gas as they had stated. They finally found the picture to prove our point with mileage and gas. The area manager was not very apologetic nor did he say they were entirely in the wrong. If we had not followed up on this problem, nothing would have occured to amend the issue. Some people do not have the time to deal with this. He proceeded to charge us what we correctly owed. If it were my business, I would have refunded the entire rental out of human decency. I know people make mistakes but to not accept responsibility is unprofessional. Part of me thinks this has happened at this location before to swindle in some extra money. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this experience definitely raised some flags. I advise anyone to use another location so you do not have to run into this problem. If you have to use them, take pictures and keep receipts of everything. Record and copy all documents they give you.Jack W.
Expected equipment to be inspected before leaving with the 5 x 8 trailer. Bumper rails each side near entry were broken off hanging. I needed to tape up to avoid damage to items being packed. Upon finishing packing the trailer at home it was visible a tire was severely under inflated. I called the authorized dealer to schedule a repair. They said to bring it in but it would be a charge for them to repair or replace the tire. What!!!?? Charge me when they rented it in this condition as an authorized dealer? They said I had to call Uhaul for service. Uhaul rep sent setvice person out who replaced leaking tire. Service man was prompt and excellent. Just dissatisfied with customer service from dealer I rented from.John D.

Uhaul changed my reservation that I made weeks in advance to somewhere 40 minutes away, that I had no way to get to. Then, turns out they also changed my reservation to the 24 hr online thing, without any knowledge as to whether I even own a smart phone or have data, or have service there. Turns out I didn't have service and the person who helped me didn't know what he was doing. Trying to find the key with the code and multiple locks on the side of a building was like being in an escape room...DANIEL C.

your web check in is very difficult. i had difficulty accessing it and went home and after playing w it discovered i needed to be at the rental location to check in. had to drive miles back. and the picture thing. never did work. bad frustrating experience. 99cents a nile and 20fot not using the web check in is exorbitantJAMES R.

This store was very helpful! When we we went to return there was a Uhaul store close to where we staying. I storage in bradennton,fl. Their ad stated they had trailers. Went to see if we could return the one we rented to that location. I have not complained about anyone in years. But this guy was the biggest jerk I have encountered maybe ever. My experience didn't start well when I tried to reserve a truck for eight hours. For some reason the website wouldn't let me pick up the truck after 6 a.m. So I reserved for four hours thinking I would tell the rental agent when I picked it up and extend to eight. But when I arrived to pick it up the agent said he didn't have a truck available for eight hours. So I called u-haul customer service who were very helpful and directed me to another location. At the second location, Firehouse Towing, they had a truck and in the conversation I mentioned my misstep with the first reservation. The man checking me out, who said he was a regional manager, seemed to sympathize and said there were constant problems with the reservation website. He then said that since by then I wouldn't have the truck for eight hours without going past their closing time, he would wave the after hours charges as long as the truck was back by 8 a.m. the next day. I returned the truck that evening but after they were closed. When I received the invoice I had been charged the $20. I called Firehouse and the woman I spoke with said she would look into it and get back to me; she didn't. I called the following day and was told by someone who could use some customer service training that the man that rented me the truck doesn't remember waiving the after hours return fee. Okay, it's only $20, but combined with the website experience, atrociously dirty truck, and the duplicity and nastiness at Firehouse, I think I'll be looking for my rental trucks elsewhere in the future.JAMESHOLDEN S.

This location provided A++ service! We were in dire need of a truck fast and the employees were extremely fast, efficient, and friendly. They offered us water, gave us a stress ball that looked like a battery (pretty cool), and hosted a very interesting and friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this location to all my friends and family. It is no surprised that they have an aware for top 100 uhual service providers on their wall.Thomas R.
