RICHARD LEIGHTON R.The access code to the security gate was given at the beginning of the checkout process, but wasn't available anywhere else and I didn't realize I'd need it again to get out. I was stuck inside the gated facility until someone else came by and opened the gate. I called Uhaul who was unable to help, and also the facility's number, and no one picked up or returned my message. Horrible, unsafe practice.

Lawrence P.We were in a time crunch because our truck pickup time was changed by 3 hours, as well as the location. We had Hire A Helper scheduled for both loading and unloading our truck. We only had 8 hours to change all of our scheduled help. We got ZERO help from the Troy MI person that changed our truck. I spent the rest of the day trying to contact all the effected companies and find a way to make out move happen. Hire A Helper was kind of helpful but it was the local people that saved us. Five Star helped us get our truck one hour earlier and Katinsky Services shifted their loading guys by an hour, so the truck got loaded. Discount Moving also shifted their unload guys and the day ended just fine. All these changes made for a very upsetting day so we will avoid U- Haul from now on.
John C.Your after hours pick up process is horrible. You wasted 1,5 hours of my day (which happened to be my birthday) because your system asked for too many verifications that I was the one asking for the rental. This should have been a simple transaction like most car rentals done online are. Instead, I am livid and will not be using your services ever again. I don't speak in hyperbole, that means never again. The way I see it, I charge $120 per hr for work, you owe me $180.
Karak S.I'd definitely recommend the location to others however, the vehicle itself had an AC issue that made the move/drive pretty rough, and the rubber seals around the doors were coming off.

Rachel S.The phone check in and check out was a nightmare. A complete waste of time. It takes far too long. 3 customers walked in and picked up their vehicles while I waited 30 MINUTES for my digital approval on a reserved vehicle. It took another 20 minutes to check it back in. I lost almost a complete hour of time (50 minutes) utilizing this process. You need to streamline the virtual process or delete it.
Brian M.I would need to tell you the lady that assisted me was extremely helpful and kind. She made sure that I have everything I needed and helped me make other reservations for future truck rentals at other locations. Definitely will be stopping by again from this location. Great people and clean equipment.

ABIGAIL VIRGINIA R.My pick up was 4pm and I was late due to flying in and getting my transportation and then to the UHaul site. I did not get there until 530 pm and could not pick up the vehicle and had to spend time on phone with Uhaul customer service to get my uhaul van picked up. Will never do the online option again, it was time consuming and not user friendly. If my son was not with me, I would have not been able to pick it up as I did not understand the process on my phone. Frustrating.

DAVID MICHAEL F.I informed uhaul in my pre rental inspection that they rental truck was dirty. Then when I turned it back in I said it wasn't clean for the next person, because there was food and ashes all over. And now I'm being charged the cleaning fee. That isn't okay! I want to talk to someone, because I am not happy that I have to pay the $25 fee for someone else's mess!
Joshua K.My only issue is I was verbally told that the location was open until 7p by the agent that I made the reservation with over the phone as well as by the on site representative when I picked up the truck. However, when I returned the truck at 3:30, it was closed. It would've been good to have been told that I'd have to do the return truck information online because I initially had difficulty doing the online portion and had to call uhaul and have an agent talk me through it.

Lauren L.I would recommend removing the dolly and moving blankets if the customer is not using them so they have more room in the truck.
Thomas T.No one picked up the phone the day prior on 12/31 to find out if they were open or hours were different on New Year Day. It said open on the window when we got there, but no one was available. In the end it was fine since we were able to figure out the self return process.

However, I requested a truck for contactless pickup at 8am and I received the confirmation email for that time on the correct date. When I got there to check in a message popped up and said that I was scheduled for in-person pickup and they did not open until 9. This threw off my whole day, as it put me over an hour and a half behind on my schedule. It would have been nice to receive ANY sort of notice that my reservation would end up being different than requested. I will NEVER be using this location again.
