I had the worst experience with this company! From reservations not kept,getting 4 emails with 2 different times for pickup of van and two different locations! Then when I get a women named Amanda that gives me attitude from the start!,talking over me and telling me to relax! After passing phone to the lady I,m dealing with at the location I made reservation,Amanda tells her to take some breaths!!!! I will never rent from u haul again!!!

location was in a bad area, lots of homeless individuals, parking was across lane from building, did not feel safe leaving my car at location, when i parked vehicle near building Fix4less said it will get towed as it has to be parked across the lane

Location did not have the utility dollies we ordered and claims they never keep them on hand. We should have been informed in advance. Truck was not clean. Auto transport was not available. We were not informed until the day before the move. This location overcharged us for the auto transport and fees.

Nothing to do with the location. Which was central for me...but the extra costs that I paid are ridiculous. The truck I rented is advertised at around $30 a day. I paid nearly $200 for two days after all the hidden costs. Did'nt go over the Klm's, brought the truck back a day early and waiting for me was an unexpected bill of $90 that I was'nt expecting. I will not be using Uhaul again

Person I dealt with wanted his 5% of his cut from uhaul. I had a $25 gift certificate and we did not want to apply or. Uhaul actually applied it to my credit card as he said he did not want to as he wanted to charge me what was stated. Truck was dirty, lots of cigarettes and bad smell.

The customer service lacking at that location. It's not a "uhaul" dealer but a third party out of a mechanic shop so you get that goodold rough treatment. Also at first when i was trying to find the place from dewdney trunk there was no uhaul sign so i had to go around the block couple of times then saw uhaul parking in the back. I've rented about 5 times from an actual uhaul location and i know the customer service i got at other uhaul location and certainly i didn't get that from that place. It was like a fly by night kinda place.

Search for and read fine print! KM charge rate on website was not what it was at rental time. The box length is measured by the accountants/sale staff not by realistic standards. When a 15' cube van is reserved you would expect a full 15' box. Using "moms attic" as part of the base for measuring box length is a joke. The cubic foot value is at best a nice extra. The cubic foot value missing from a true 15' box is significant. We ended up having to leave items behind for a later trip. I have done several loads with a 16' box so have a good idea what will and will not fit.

Could be friendlier. I went in the back door thinking that might be where the uhaul was and the guy wasn't happy about that. He also told us if we filled it to a quarter talk (was given at 1/8) we would get a credit. We did not realize if we put 3/4 tank we would not get credit for that. Probably around $200 we spent not realizing

We had been given a coupon from u Haul and he told us that there was no way for him to enter discounts or coupons. Also we had to go to an entirely different city over half an hour away to pick up the uhaul so it took us over an hour to go there and back. It was also very hard to find

When I dropped off the vehicle the agent had no ID and approached me in the parking lot. I was concerned he was not actually with the location and was trying to steal the vehicle. Until he gave me my own email address to identify himself. The whole process was very quick and professional beyond that.

Setting up for the use of the U Haul went smoothly. The use of the truck made the job of moving stuff to set up a fund raiser for BC Cancer on the Friday and removing the left-over stuff from the hall on Sunday very efficient. Thank you for all that you did to make it pleasant.

The location was great but my perception of the Uhaul experience has changed as a direct result of the lengthily resolution time I encountered today. Waiting 4 hours plus at a gas station is unacceptable. I expect a full refund and reimbursement and will he in contact with customer service tomorrow.

Only negative was that I asked for and paid for 10 moving blankets but was told they only had 6 on site. So I was not given what I had reserved well in advance, which was disappointing and no compensation for that. Otherwise location was convenient and service was quick.

Fuel neck was broken. Causing $10-15 worth of gas to dump on the ground, attempted to call uhaul customer service (in the middle of the move) to try and determine what I should do, and was told the wait time was 45 mins. I ended up duct taping the neck to slow the leak down so I could fill the truck back up before returning it so I didn’t get charged, ended up having to drive out of my way to go to a hardware store and then got charged for extra mileage on the vehicle. Should I send you a bill for my temporary repair I performed? Duct tape cost me $6.95 and my hourly rate is $75/hr.

Should have trailering ball and hitch. for vehicle. Should also have wiring adapters. I have a seven wire harness, needed a 4 wiring harness adapter to make lites work. They did not have either.Not good when your renting out trailers. Thank you,,,,

After a stressful day of waking up with a sick child but still having to move our house, we were over our time limit by an hour so were charged a full extra day. When the attendant could clearly see that my husband was flailing trying to clear the van because he wasn't able to dispose of everything leftover from our move, rather than say "hey, I have to charge you an extra day anyway, why don't you take it for one more night?", he proceeded to give him attitude and charge for gas when it had just been filled. When I picked up it was just less than half and when I pointed that out to him, he scoffed at me like I was nit-picking so I dropped it. Then when I balked at being charged for gas after it had just been filled up, he proceeded to tell me it was only 3/8 full and because I wasn't there when the gas check was done, I had no choice but to believe him. When reviewing the bill after we left, it shows gas as being in between 3/8 & half so guess what that makes it? Just less than half like I had pointed out on pick up!! This guy needs some compassion and empathy training, especially when working with people who are going through one of the most stressful things in their lives. Please know I will be giving the poorest rating on Google and sharing on social media if this is not resolved in Quincy!

I ordered a furniture dolly when booking the vehicle a number of days prior to picking up the vehicle. This was not available when I came to pick up the vehicle and left us having to run around wasting valuable vehicle time in securing one from elsewhere. This piece of equipment was vital to our move. If you don't have items like this available, please don't leave it until the vehicle is picked up to then tell the renter they are not available.. Just causes a lot of aggrovation, holds things up, while time is running down with the rental..Thank you..
