There seems to be a disconnect between UHAUL and the location of FJR Rentals. When I booked my truck online, UHAUL allowed me to make my reservation for 8:30am. Once I had the truck rented, I booked my movers to arrive at 9am at my house, giving myself 30 minutes grace to get home and get ready for the movers. INSTEAD FJR did not open until 9am. So, when i arrived at the pick up location at 830, i waited, frustrated, until the employee arrived at 9:07am. As a result, we were 30 minutes late for the movers, and paid for the movers to be sitting around in their car until the truck arrived at my house. What a waste of money! I am extremely upset that the online service allows me to book a reservation time for a place that is not even open!! Horrible set up! When I called customer service to try to resolve the issue, I was told that "there was nothing she could do". I feel cheated out of my time and money for this disconnect between UHAUL and the contracted pick up sight.

Only wouldnt recommend because no one i know lives around there. Overall the location was fine but I am not satisfied that when I booked initially for Mound MN I was not told there was not a truck available and they automatically transferred my rental to Rockford MN (not at all close to the direction I was heading) I then had to contact the dispatch team. Overall I am dissatisfied with the communication from UHaul.

I had extremely poor service with this rental and had contacted uhaul customer service on Wednesday several times when I first tried renting and reserving a pick truck and several times on Thursday when attempting to pick up the a pick up truck I reserved for after hours pick up from fjr rentals in St Louis Park MN. I had to contact district manager Christopher Bohlman. I was stuck waiting outside for 2 and 1/2 hours in freezing cold after taking public bus and walking 3 blocks and finding no keys were left if after hours pick up box. I was forced to take a truck that was to bug fir me to drive and I repeatedly stated I did not want. The vehicle cane with problems and I was not able to use for what I needed and returned truck early per Chris Bohlmans instructions and ended up getting a truck over 2 hours later than what I was supposed to. Chris Bohlman assured me. I would receive full refund and not be charged for vehicle rental. I have yet to receive full refund and will not be renting from uhaul again. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Minnesota State Attorney General's Office and other agencies to let them know and expect uhaul and Chris Bohlman to follow through on full refund to my credit card. I would like a manager or someone above Chris Bohlman to contact me to further discuss the issues with his and uhauls customer service team.

I was told that I needed to fold the blankets and sweep out the truck or I would be charged. I did sweep out the truck and I did fold the blankets, yet I was charged a cleaning fee.

I put 8 miles on a van that gets 18 miles per gallon (per Uhaul's own website) and I was billed $12 for 3 gallons of gas.  This is a scam and I will be reporting this to the BBB.From now on I will use Reddy Rents which is right down the street.

I reserved a 20 foot truck and when to pick it up all that was available was a 26 footer. Brad @ FJR was great. Get more people like him.

More features in the actual truck (i.e. cruise control, better seats, bluetooth connection to phone, etc). Maybe offer a premium line at a higher price? That's something that I would pay for, even though it was a short trip for me. Also...have you ever considered Medallia for your customer engagement tool? Only had one ball size for the hitch. Had to spend an unexpected $35 more on a one time use of a ball hitch. Other locations offered use of different sizes for convenience.

It is really hard to move when you don’t have a hand truck/dolly because they don’t have any left when you’re picking up your truck yet it was on the reservation. This is the second time that Uhaul has not had dollies with my advance reservation

They didn't have a 2 wheel dolly like I reserved. So they sent me with an appliance dolly instead which made the work even harder ( And charged me ). Truck was a pile of crap. It shook as I was going down the road.

Only negative was the hours stated on website open until 6:00pm on Saturday. We returned the truck around 4:30-5:00 and the place was closed so needed to do more online return which took more time then just being able to return the vehicle. Please check your website for hours. Thank you

I think something was wrong with the mileage I was initially billed (90 miles vs. 30 miles), but Uhaul gave me a discount which I am happy about. I called last minute to get a truck - whatever was available - and the guy had the size that I wanted, but only for a half day. When I arrived, he actually offered a large truck but for the full day which I took. I appreciated the on-the-fly suggestion.

We had planned on dropping this off at another location a mile or so away. When we arrived there, we were told they didn't accept the trailers. The really should have that outlined on their website.

The owner needs to hire more staff. At 9 am (opening) there was a long line of about a dozen people. And one staff member. The staff member was great: professional, courteous, working as quickly as he could. But the owner needs to hire another person for the morning rush. Cheap owners like this this person give U-Haul a bad name. Great staff cannot make up for understaffing.
