The facility was secure and lighted by the office and entrace into the storage units area but there were no lights by the units or in the units and it is really dark at night. I would still recommend the place but I would let people know to bring flashlights when going at night.

Truck had a broken mirror, but not a big thing. Check out was a little complicated and confusing! Returning truck was fast and easy.

The main problem we had upon an early arrival (6:30am, office closed) was that the WiFi was so poor at this location. We had delays using the truck pick up system due to minimal WiFi reception that made everything take longer and be more challenging since we had to call to toll free to have the assistance of UHaul customer service to navigate it all. I would highly encourage that office to have an open guest WiFi account or make improvements to what they currently have so that the pick up process can happen much more smoothly. The site and truck were awesome!

My appt was at 7:30 after taking a picture of myself and my iD they still said they couldn't id me. Which is crazy so they had to call and wake my daughter up. Then I tried paying with my bank card and it kept declining when there was more than enough on the card. Then once I put in code to unlock to lock to get the key out it wouldn't completely open so I had to keep trying about 4 times. I didn't leave the lot til 8:24 when reservations was for 7:30 -9:30 so I didn't get it back til 10:10 due to the nonsense I had to go through wasting a hour just trying to get the truck. This was the worst experience with uhaul in the last 20-30 years I have used YALL. Don't have service available when u closed if u make ppl go through all that nonsense

This storage unit was the cleanest unit I have ever rented. Never seen any signs of rodents or cockroaches like the other storage units I have used with other companies. Would definitely recommend using this storage unit company.

My only issue was the online check in wasn't working for me to get the truck at 8am, so I had to wait for the place to open and got it at 930am. Then I was told that it had to be back by 5pm, and I got it back right before then and the 5pm guy left and never rented the truck and I still needed to use it. I didn't realize there was a rental time it had to be back, bc I said I needed it for the day to move a 3500sq ft house with me and a friend doing all the work.

Went 22 miles gas needle didn't move but 5 back in it and was charged 22 for gas!!!!! Rented the truck for the day and only got 4 hours and had to turn it in??? What happened to renting and getting the vehicle over night til the next day…… AHHHHH no had turn it in after 4-5 hours of use. This is pretty shitty ! 19,99 truck cost me. Damn 80 dollars. This how you do business? I've lived in clayton 19 years and I know enough people to tell…… and

I had rented a storage unit and found out that I needed another one. I called the next day and Bob was there to help me get it fast. We also need a uhaul truck and was scheduled to get it the next day but someone brought one back same day and Bob called and informed us and we was able to get it a day before. Very friendly and fast. We also had a fast and quick drop off. Would go back again

Very easy rental and move out process. The location of this facility is easy to get to from the main road and well laid out. We had a climate controlled unit and the facility was very well lit and very clean with extensive hours for use. Would use this facility again.

Service at the drop off on Plantation Dr. In Clayton, NC was much more efficient. Much more professional service here. Efficient, pleasant and helpful. Overall this was a good experience.

Owner was the rudest man I've ever felt with for uhaul. Customer service was horrible. I didn't even want to go through with giving him my money. But I had no choice. I needed to get done with my project. Will not be going back to him. I wanted a full refund at the end of the day. But I just did not want to go back and deal with him. So he lost business.

It REALLY wasn't the pickup place, but the uhaul company itself. I did everything needed to be done to get it...texted, emails, even a phone call from someone on info as to who would be driving it. However, when we got there, they had the truck but they were clueless as to any info. It took us 30 minutes to get "permission" to take the 3 hour truck to do what I rented it for.

The truck was given to me with a repugnant smell in it and also so tire pressure on the passenger rear tire was low.

This was not our original pick up location. We had to drive an hour to pick up the truck because our original location did not have our reserved truck. This meant that instead of getting our truck at noon it was 4:45 before we had one. Very bad Uhaul service rendered!!

I called Smithfield who told me to come they had the vehicle. After getting there, i found they did not.. They registered me to pick up in Flowertown Plantation store. However the man didn't wish to complete the transaction during pickup. I was told to rreegister again on my mobile in a hot car. This was after registering at another store in Smithfield. I was never given the rate to plan. After 30 minutes the man came to my car and asked if I was done. The website was faulty, therefore I couldn't complete. The buttons on the site would not complete. I went in the guy did my paperwork. Did NOT provide an estimate! During the trip the horn didn't work. I filled the tank up and tried to download the pictures to the site with mileage and gas. The website was faulty and didn't let me download the pictures ??. I saw that the gasoline amount was incorrect and the mileage was almost 100 miles more ??. called the next day but the lady had me on hold so long i hung up. I am amazed at how horrible a service Uhaul gave ??!!!

The Uhaul app 24/7 was difficult to use and took over 30mins. to be able to pick up the truck...had I known I would have done the upfront paperwork in person.

Fix your self-pickup program. I was waiting for about 20-30 minutes before the main store opened and the guy inside was able to help me.

When advised that mileage and fuel were incorrect, I contacted the pickup location and they admitted their mistake to the drop off person. I was told to contact UHaul which straightened it out. Truck was very bouncy when crossing bridges on Interstate.

We had a great experience finalizing the rental and then moving in to the climate controlled unit. The man at the desk, Dave, walked us to where the unit was and showed us the two entries for our use.

They wanted 2 months up front. When I called no one responded. When I left a message no one returned my call. I had to cancel via email. I was not prepared to pay $250 to store my things
