1. Advise customers ahead of time that you close over lunch. 2. Actually clean the trucks 3. When you show pics of the vehicle - don't show stock photos, but show the actual photo! 4. Trying to set up an online account was frustrating and couldn't be done initially as it would not accept some items.

There was a pair of boots and half a bottle of water in drivers area when I got the van. Obviously not sanitized for Covid. Windshield inside was dirty and there was food or sticky stuff on steering well I had to clean off. No way to tell office when I returned key.

We reserved a truck, had to postpone because of illness. Went to get truck, manager told us we lost our truck. We drove over a hundred miles to get the truck. The manager on the phone was rude. Once we got to U-Haul, I caught him in 2 lies. Not a nice experience.

Extremely upset with the original location I was supposed to pick up from. I ended up having to spend more money and make additional trips because I wasn't able to fit everything in the smaller truck I had to settle for. Also, I was late getting back to the house to meet my movers due to the change in location and started the day very stressed and rushed.

Terrible Roadside Assistance service!!! When I used the uhaul Roadside Assistance phone number, it told me to go online to uhaul.com/help- no other assistance was available. What if I could not get on the internet out in the middle of nowhere? I called my rental office twice with no return call received. I finally went on the internet and received assistance. Very bad system design!

I reserved a truck in town of Charlottesville and was suppose to pick it on emmet street in Charlottesville. I get there at 8am like agreed upon to pick it up and then the manager says he doesn't have a truck for me and it'll hopefully be in by 3. I reserved this truck earlier that week. I get a call from a women named Autumn and she says that I need to go all the way to Palmyra to get it and I still need to pay for the mileage when I was suppose to pick up the truck in town. This made my day extremely difficult since I was paying movers. I would not recommend U-Haul unless this matter be refunded to me based on what I had to go through.

The truck had no air in the front tire. Gary was nice enough to fill it up with a compressor. The reason we picked up the truck at this location was because the location I had my reservation at (Xions Crossroads) did not have the truck I had reserved and confirmed. Nobody called to tell me the truck wasn't there and offered me two 10''s instead of the 26' I had reserved.

Lots of dead bugs in and our unit. The climate control may be ok but we had items with moisture damage. The receipt I received could not be viewed. I paid for 30 days only used 10 days. No refund???
