There was no dolly on the uhal at all there was a hole in the floor of the truck I was Not informed about and what not covered so two people twisted their ankle helping me move and when I received the truck it was on E but I was asked to bring it back in quarter tank.

Have people on site who know what they're doing. Don't change the site last minute and NOT tell the customer. Confirm 24 hours ahead instead of making customer do so. Truly ANOTHER terrible experience with U-haul. Can't say I'm surprised though.

Didn't have correct truck size, didn't have dollies available had to go to two different locations. Because of this I had extra mileage on truck. Smh. Tried to over charge me and I still have over $50 pending on my account. Won't be using uhaul for a move anymore.

Well if a customer returns the truck under the gas they left in they charge a higher price per gallon yet i returned the truck over what i started with and asked for my refund and the clerk told me too bad what kinda mess is that so you all can rob customers and then charge the next customer for gas that you didnt even pay for.....should be illegal at the least its not moral and a sorry business practice.....money hungry

Truck cab was filthy, took 20 minutes with spray cleaner and paper towels to make it habitable. Back of truck had a lot of trash and empty pallets left from last user. Once they realized I was a one-way user they gave me their worst truck. I would never rent from them again.

Stop lying and scamming to obtain success....1)the date and time i returned the uhaul was incorrect on my receipt....2)the miles i traveled in the uhaul was increased significantly due to false reporting or truck issues so i was charged for 49 miles and i only traveled 10 the truck was returned less than 1 hour later not the next day at 4:30 pm which is what my receipt stated.3) i have recorded calls of me calling 2 days straight for a receipt that they said i will receive in 10 minutes i called back a hour later they said just wait it hasn't been ten minutes but my calls record voice and time stamps so i have no reason to lie.4)when i returned the uhaul within a hour 1 guy was there he said i have to wait for a receipt because he dosnt know how to login and send my receipt which is why i had to keep calling for a receipt.5)seems like you guys see someone young and try to take advantage but no i have recorded calls and time stamps i will not give up untill i only pay for what i used.

I reserved to pick up the Uhaul truck and trailer 4/5 weeks before moving. Not even 24 hours before I needed to pick them up I got a call from Uhaul says I had to go to two different locations to pick up the truck, then the trailer. The truck had half a tank of fuel, it smelled like piss and cigarettes, old food and trash on the floor and the door was covered in something sticky. I tried to get paperwork from the person so I could document all of this, but the person refused. I had to spend over 18 Hours in this truck and was not happy at all.

The truck was not ready for the scheduled pick time and there was trash and leftover clothes inside the cab. The scheduled online order was not available and I wasn't informed until 24 hours before the pick up. I will never use or recommend this location.

I rented the U-Haul at 6:41p.m. on 08-13-19 & had it returned by 10:00p.m. the same night & was over charged. They told me to have it back by midnight to avoid charges so we had it back two hours before the scheduled due date time which was 12:45a.m. on 08-14-19.

It took too long to be waited on and the truck was filthy with something spilled on the passenger side seat, the cabin was very dusty and when I raised the tail door a roach fell on me.

Last customer did Not clean back of vehicle. The clerk made a note of it and gave me a slight discount when I returned the vehicle after I had cleaned the back. Great customer service!!

The employee who was working the little u-haul kiosk inside the ghetto grocery store surprisingly did know what he was doing. He didn't do a vehicle walk through at all. He basically just handed over the keys and I didn't have to sign anything. I got to my house, opened up the back of the truck, and what do you know, the back was trashed. There were approximately 8,000 emptied little County Crock butter packages piled up in the corner, there were two random wooden pallets on the floor, the moving pad bag had the seal broken with the pads hanging out, the dolly was missing all together and the passenger side mirror was cracked.

No one offered to provide any assistance when I dropped the truck off. They took my keys and gave no further information. This resulted in me being charged for an extra day even though the truck was returned on time. Very disappointed with my experience.

My experience with U-Haul has been atrocious. I have never had such bad customer experience and it's made me question how the company still exists. If I could - I would send a direct note to Joe Shoen. I have explained myself at least 4 times now (case # 2225629) and have spent hours on the phone. I am beyond my boiling point and clearly the company is unwilling to help me, I have wasted too much of my time and will never rent a U-Haul truck again. I have also made sure to tell my family and friends to never even consider U-Haul.

The truck was a bit dirty in the cabin area and in the box. This location was fine but I booked it for Walker's Point for 4pm. I arrived to the Walker's Point location (1500 S 1st St, Milwaukee, WI 53204) at 445pm and was informed that I had to go to another location to pick the truck up. I got dropped off so it took a while for me to get picked up. The lady at the counter said "I guess we probably should have called you to let you know." I can't imagine a lazier response and that was awful customer service.

I did not get the van I wanted I got a truck. I was charged a cleaning fee in which the truck was already dirty. I think it is a scam. Why didn't he pick up the two pieces of paper and throw them away. He wouldn't allow me to clean someone else's mess. He said when I pulled up in the lot it was too late. I have done business with you guys for years and I never personally brought back a dirty vehicle. I am truly upset

I was not happy to arrive home with my truck and then find that there was a LOCK on the back door. No one had mentioned it. I phoned Foodtown Mart at 3217 W Villard Ave and the fellow there didn't know the code. He said to call U-Haul. That proved impossible. So then I phoned and said I was driving the truck back to them and wanted a new one I can get into. After driving a few minutes he phoned and gave me a code. Probably his boss or someone else knew it. It took a long time because of the freezing cold weather to finally move the pieces on the lock to get the code to work and unlock the lock so we could use the damn truck. This lost us 45 to 60 minutes. Dumb fiasco.

Look at the condition of the truck, gas mark and mileage WITH the renter BEFORE. I was charged for gas when I refilled the gas to the mark where I got it. When I went to return I was told there was more gas in the tank.I told them there wasn't and was still charged even though no one assessed the truck before. The operators at this location insisted on using this to take more money from you. Use another location or company whenever possible. Terrible

It took 10 min to defrost the window on location so used a lot of gas that I had to replace. The store that U-Haul resides in stink really really bad that it made me very nauseous. The lady was very rude. My overall experience was distaster. No I won't recommend anyone!!!

The location was a horrible spot in a bad area. We got a schedule confirmation for 8:15 am and were informed that this locations. Doesn't open until 9 am. Someone at this location or uhaul scheudling really screwed up which delayed and impacted our entire moving day. When we received the truck, we were told it was damaged.

I was required to pay a $100 deposit. They did not accept debit cards. So I had to leave and go get cash. When I returned the truck I was told I owed $90. The truck rental was $19.95 and I only traveled 14 miles so that's $36.61 + tax. When I asked to see the break down of what I owed and why it was so much. I was told they made a mistake and used the miles from the wrong truck. Then they quoted me another high price. I was told that I brought the truck back late. I picked the truck up at 11am and brought it back at 2pm. I was supposed to have it for 4 hours. So I actually brought it back early. Finally, they readjusted the price to $40.50. But before doing that they still quoted me 3 different prices. They also said I purchased the insurance, which I had not. Please do not rent from this place. If you are not careful and do not request your checkout sheet before you leave with the truck like I did, they will try to rip you off.
