No staff and no instruction where to leave keys.

The location is aware of some issues with the app working well there and working to fix it. It's a remote location and internet service may also be spotty. There was a hiccup with my reservation and I had to return four hours after the booking time to get my truck. However, the location's representative was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. If they can sort out the app issues, that'd be great.

This was a rescehedule location to get the truck I needed. The location is more of an appointment only for pick up, but no complaints. The person who was there was really nice and very efficient.

I booked a rental for a specific location, yet had to drive an extra 30 minutes each way to pick up the trailer in a location out of the way as the initial location did not have a trailer ready for me.

I made a note about the quick release hitch and its danger when i picked up the trailer as it did not look secure. The trailer came off the hitch on the highway at 80km/h when i was driving the trailer back. This is extremely dangerous and I could have seriously hurt myself. Please consider using the traditional hitch systems instead of these new quick ones.

Super helpful and easy to deal with, all online and self help for the majority of it. Only thing that would be helpful would be to know where to go to talk to someone if there are any issues with pickup or drop off, especially when the app fails for the return process. Otherwise love this location

There was no one there and it was confusing. With more understanding that this is how they run their business I would have been more comfortable.

Used after hours drop off. Very difficult to take pictures of the interior of the trailer and of the parking location in the middle of an unlit farmer's field with poor cell service.

I got charged an extra day for my rental and have now called the owner 3 times to correct it without seeing any changes on my account. Terrible service.

If you want your truck swept out to avoid a $25. extra then provide a broom. If you want the truck brought back with the same amount of gas in it as was there to start with provide an overlay on the gas gage calibrated in litres and gallons. There are no guidelines to suggest how much fuel to expect to burn. I put in about $40 more than what was necessary and yet will I get a dime back?? You can bet if i was even a fraction shy of returning as found that I would be charged.

Smaller trailers tie down strips on the sides are too small for rope or straps.

I ordered my Uhaul at another location. Was told 3 days before I had to go to this location. Only 1 person working. Scheduled to pick up trailer at 11AM. Didn't leave until closer to noon. Went to return tge trailer tge following Friday. Checked hours online. Said location was opened until 5. Got there at 420PM. Noone at location.

I had no issues with the location of the rental BUT Very Very upset with the reservation process. I had made a reservation online well in advance to assume that I had the item the day I needed it. I called the day before pick up and was assured the item was still available for the next day. When I showed up, the item was not there nor anywhere else in the region. After many calls, I finally found an available trailer at the Fallowfield location which was way out of my area and delayed my moving experience by 3 hours, which brought me to finish well into the night. It caused me undue extra stress on top of the stress of a move and having other people depending on my timeline which caused them also to be delayed in their own life. It was awful. I will not recommend renting from Uhaul to anyone as it is extremely unreliable.

When I called originally, I was told I could drop off in Kemptville. However, when I arrived for pick up- this option was not available. I was told to call the central number to change location drop off but that was very disorganized and unhelpful. Was on the line for 45 minutes and no one was able to help me. Very frustrating.

Tell customer ahead of pickup time that personnel won't be on-site at the scheduled appointment. Knowing to call right away for service will eliminate delays

Easy in easy out. The apps/website could be a bit more user friendly but it does the job.

Athena thoroughly explained everything I needed to know to safely use the trailer and even leant me a lock for the trailer which I unexpectedly needed. She made the process simple and easy. I would highly recommend this site and use again if required.

Its a remote drop off location. As long as you have a phone and can access your data it works fine.

Le service à la clientèle était génial. She accommodated a last minute switch from the Merivale location to the Stittsville location, and was gracious when we were late. As an added bonus, this location is rural with fields surrounding and smells amazing.

Helpful with the issues noted above and accepted my Video inspection as pick up spot did not give me the pick up app to approve condition.

A thong jack wouldn't be great. The large trailer is quite heavy.

I arrived at the drop off location which is a huge sprwling property. I drove to end of the road where there was no U-Haul equipment, and after knocking on multiple doors was unable to find anyone. I saw a man and a dog back on the road that I came in, drove to him and asked where to drop off the trailer. He pointed in an easternly direction around a mound of dirt and up a hill. I drove the trailer to the location, backed the trailer, saw no one and left.

It's a barn that is impossible to find. Person disappeared into the barn with my license then comes back takes my credit card back into the barn. Trailer actually disconnected on the trip home. Her picture shows chains connected but receiver wasn't tightened on. Get my agreement via email after I left with insurance I never asked for and signed by someone else. Asked for drop-off in Petawawa receive a notice to drop it off in Pembroke 40 minutes away. Complete mess

The location seemed very hap-hazard. Office is in a barn with no actual office, person met us at their vehicle. Very little "professional" atmosphere.

Fosters was actually Ok but appeared to be another business with a little extra property looking to have U-Haul as an additional revenue stream. I understand the reach that this provides for your organization but as a Sales and Marketing professional, i think you may have taken this too far and are damaging your brand. My real problem was trailer drop off at 6930 Fallowfiled Road, Ottawa. The driveway was not cleared of snow so wasn't sure where i was going; also due to little signage. There was no attendant...granted I dropped off on a Sunday but this seemed like a farm, running a side business or simply a depot for storing your vehicles as there was a massive qounset building. I don't know what your criteria is to sign up your "Neighborhood" depots but this did not feel like U-Haul. Scott

I was redirected to this location because my original choice could not accommodate our requirements. I will return to this location - equipment in good condition, professional staff (especially challenging to deliver good service in COVID conditions!), easy return. Agent went above and beyond, returning a call responding to a question on a day when they're normally closed. Can recommend.

I was made to move my pick up to this location. Firstly - the reception is extremely poor here making it very difficult to use the UHaul app for self checkout. However, the worst of it was that I made my guaranteed reservation for 9AM and yet when I went to pick it up, no one was even working. There was a sign saying that someone would come in at 3:45PM. There was a phone number on the sign but no one would pick it up after I called many times. I tried to call uHaul but I was on wait for around an hour and no one picked up.

Arrived during business hours posted on uhaul site, not one person to assist us, phone call went unanswered, called 1-800 go uhaul, and they assisted us), called location next morning and representative was short, grumpy and unhelpful. Really felt uncomfortable leaving a trailer that doesn't belong to me at this location as anyone could hitch it up and take off with it. 10/10 would not recommend.

I returned the cargo trailer 90 minutes late and I was charged for one extra day - without even telling me. Totally unsatisfactory.

I cannot see how the pickup could have gone better. Truck was impeccably clean, service was extremely friendly.

Terrible experience. Dealer overstated amount of fuel in truck by $100. Fortunately I have a photo of the fuel gauge when I picked it up. I will spread the word about how I have be treated by you.

My issues were as follows: Truck size was changed by U-Haul to a smaller size just a couple of days before I was to pick up. Not happy about that. We were scheduled to pick up truck at 9 AM, but the agent was about 20 minutes late arriving. Not happy about that. When I dropped off the truck, the agent was late once again. Not happy about that!

I got bumped from the Coventry location to a random farm in Stittsville. When I arrived the location, the only customer service I got was text from an unknown number saying: "Keys are in the truck." That's it. Nothing else. Advice: don't make people drive 35 minutes outside of town to pick up a truck at a random farm with no customer service. Have the truck delivered to a location that is convenient for the customer and staffed with real employees.

I was kept waiting for over an hour for someone to arrive. No one on site. No one answered the phone calls or messages that I left. I was given another phone number given me by an adjoining tenant. While speaking with Uhaul's Call Centre, they were told that the local representative was there and was "giving me the keys". This was not true as she was not even at the location. When someone arrive there was no greeting, she was rude and unapologetic. I was offered a 10 % discount for the inconvenience by the Call Centre representative and was subsequently told that they could not process the discount. The Uhaul representative at this site was not pleasant at all. I had certainly interrupted her day and she was upset. She also arrived with kids in her Van. Certainly not the least bit professional. After spending almost $3 000 and to be left waiting more than an hour after the scheduled pick up time and being rudely treated. The truck was not in a clean state and I had to disinfect the interior. The steering wheel, door handles and seats were filthy. Glad I wore gloves and had sanitizer. Will never recommend this location or go there again.

My truck was in the wrong location (previous contact with uhaul told me they'd have the vehicle relocated to Prince of Wales, where I initially requested my order), and then I had to drive 45 minutes out of my way to get to this location. This location was supposed to be open at 9:00, at 9:15 I had to call them to ask where they were and was greeted with "I have six kids I'll be there in a bit" as if that's an adequate excuse. The employee then gave us nothing but attitude, and tried to bully us / convince us we were required to return the vehicle to this location when my agreement clearly stated that it will be returned to Gatineau. Employee was late, rude, and unprepared; and this has was absolute worst experience with your company.
