When finalizing the contract with Albert, the manager, and waiting for the contract to be printed he asked me to scan a QR code and rate him with five stars on Google. I told him I don't have a Google account but would do so later on. Good thing since I hadn't actually seen the rental truck yet. Once I had the keys and walked to the truck, I noticed it had several scratches on all sides, a couple noted with 'x' stickers, many not. The truck also had trash in both the cab and in back. Although I was told the gas tank was 3/8 full, when I started the engine it said "0 miles to empty". I went back in to discuss this with Albert, the manager, and asked him to come out with me to look at the truck. He wouldn't leave his office. I asked if anyone actually checked the truck before handing me the keys. He said "I just got here and you need to understand we're in a bad neighborhood. The gas was probably siphoned overnight. Just return the truck on empty and I'll adjust the contract." I've rented U-Hauls from other locations in the past and I've never had an issue. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location because the manager seems to do little to confirm the condition of the vehicle from customer to customer and would not examine the vehicle with me. Also, because he asks the customer to give him a five-star rating before the customer has had a chance to examine the rental.

Massimo OrruThe up front process was fine. It took longer than I expected it would. The return process was really bad The man at the desk when I returned the truck was really bad. He could not be bothered to inspect the truck when I returned it. I still have not receiced a final closing statement.I had called to ask if I could be one hour late. I left a message on voice mail with my name and phone number, I didn' get a call back. He did acknowledge the call when I was checking the truck in. My credit card has been charged.

AND if he keeps up these customer service skills somebody's going to slap him back into reality and that's for real!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!郎郎郎郎
Barbara BroadnaxThe manager is/was unprofessional and discourteous. When I first arrived at 10am to pick up the truck, the office was closed I had to wait until 10:30 before he opened the door. He was also on the phone and had it on speaker and spoke to the person on the other end like I was disturbing his phone call. When I returned the truck, he said park it back outside where it was and I will check it in later, I just need the keys. I did as instructed, I tried to give him the fuel receipt and he said again all I need is the keys. Then I got the final bill and he charged me for fuel. I added 2,58gal and drove the truck 35 miles...that is more than enough fuel for 35 miles.
CRAIG MOUNTAINI was charged for "SafeMode" insurance when I specified multiple times I did not want it. This is completely unacceptable and I will never use uhaul again because of this. The man who handled my reservation preceded to charge me for something I said more than once I did not want or need.

LUIS VILLAPAYANWhen I picked up truck the agent was very pleasant and helpful. When I returned truck different agent when didn't want to get off a personal call I know. It was personal because it stated to the person on the phone sis I call you back he didn't check the mileage or how much gas was in truck I could see how upset he was about being ask to come and check the truck. I don't want to be charged for something that I shouldn't be.
ALESIA MAXWELLThe vehicle wasn't clean. Could use a wash and thorough cleaning inside. We attempted to self check in which took almost 30 minutes and was very inconvenient. The location of the business on the app was a different name then what was on the building so that wasn't helpful. I will say the representative when we finally went inside after giving up on the self check in was very nice and helpful. She understood our frustration.

rodney CarrBooked a uhaul a year ago from a different location in town and had a horrible experience. This one was fantastic by comparison. The staff is helpful and friendly. Truck was clean and in good condition. Price was very fair.

DAVID CADDICKWell I'd declined the insurance and when I returned it my estimated amount was 35-40 more then what was quoted before booking my uhaul. They added insurance which took 2 days to refund. Uhaul error cause even the worker at the pickup site was trying to tell them I'd declined the insurance. No one was in office to assist. She has promised to take care of it. I didn't put pressure but I was expect some sort of compensation for the error, delay and excessive charge to my card. I held up my end of the deal uhaul did not. Even if it was reducing the rate per mile from 1,09 to the weekly 0,85 would have been nice. Especially since I dropped off the truck with more gas then given returned within 4 hours and was promised some sort of compensation for the inconvience. When you show customers who you are it's your reputation they carry. Not a happy costuner but not a discretional customer either. You can do better though with the prices you're charging.
Marcie SealsThe ONLY issue that I had was that the passenger window and rear view mirror were so dirty that it was difficult to see cars on the right side of the truck. Since I only drove the truck 14mi round trip and I was familiar with all the roads I drove on - it was a minor issue. If I were driving the truck further - I would have had to wash the right side because it could have been a safety issue.
