More variety of equipment would greatly improve this location.
JANA BUCKLEYThis service was horrible. It was very difficult to get in touch with anybody at this location. To get help I had to drive to another U-haul location to be able to rich someone. The track was very bad. It was horrible!

John BarnesThe staff was very helpful when I was not able to turn in all of my equipment (i.e. the furniture pads) on the same day due to extenuating circumstances, and allowed me to turn them in the next day for no charge provided I turn them in right when the place opened the next day.

The facility could use a few lights in the actual warehouse; but, overall I enjoyed giving Fredericksburg Budget Rental and Storage my business.

MICHAELJEFFREY RHODESWe were told from pick up point truck had a 1/2 tank (it did) when returning to Frederickbrug va location girl said it was at 9/16's yes one 16th more. They charged us 22,5$ because we brought it back at 1/2 tank. Petty and left a bad taste. Plus girl was unprofessional. A little nasty when questioned. DALE NEGUSUHaul Reservation Issue: I indicated on both the initial reservation and at time of check-in that I would return the truck to the Howard Ave location. Why did U-Haul contact me while I was driving to confirm the return location?

Karen UberI was not allowed in the office, however once I looked around I didn't feel safe going into the office! She had a gate at the door to keep her dogs in the office. The office was a hoarders office. There was so much stuff she had made paths from the door to her desk and to another part of the room. I made to sign at the door. She requested my credit card. I have rented from Uhaul before on line and have never been asked for my credit card. I refused to provide. She didn't press the issue. The office is located in a place where you have to follow signs to get to it with no reference to Uhaul. I asked her to email my paperwork to me. Once I had time to open the email approximately 45 min the time had expired so I could not open it. My experience was totally UNACCEPTABLE! I will never rent from this place again.

Walter HansenThis location was closed when I returned my rental at 3:00pm on 9/13/2020. There was a small sign affixed to the bolted gate that said "closed for a medical appointment". It was not the drop-off location that I had selected when I made my reservation, so I was already frustrated that I had to go that far out of my way only to find no one there. Added to that, the online system was not working on my mobile device and it took 20 minutes on hold to speak to someone and get it resolved.

William HamiltonI didn't like where the office to This location was , all the vehicle was way upfront and the office was way in the back , very hot inside , the window in the truck wasn't clean . Other then that it' was okay . Not my favorite I-haul location . Employee was very nice .

Aaron GaskinsI'm not sure on the staff since I dropped the unit off after hours, but, the lot was closed so I had to park on the street. The fence looked to be in need of repair and the neighborhood did not seem to be a great place to leave a truck and trailer not under lock and key.
MIKE NIELSENWe did have a "check engine" light on for the entire duration of our trip. No issue. We were advised in advance that this existed and had been checked prior to our trip. We reported it upon drop off. The only problem I did experience was the HEATER (cab heater) did not work when I needed it for defrost during a storm. I had tried it earlier to slightly "temper" the AC when it got too cold (by turning the temp knob up a little - then a lot) and it did not produce any heat. Then again - during the storm, the windshield began to fog up and I turned on front windshield defrost and fan and heat all the way up and no heat, which momentarily created a dangerous situation. UPON RETURN OF THE TRUCK, of course, I turned up the heat knob and it created plenty of heat. I reported to the return site and explained it was an intermittent issue. He believed me , but I hope the issue presents itself so it can be repaired.

Christian JonesThe pickup location office was disgusting. Uhaul needs to do a site visit to see this office as the lady lives like a hoarder in the office. I've braver been to such a uhaul office in my years of moving across the county. Please have this office correct there ways or revoke their franchise. It's very unprofessional and not healthy for customers.
Cain JenkinsThe night dropoff was scetchy there was a box for night dropoff bit unclear instructions. I called the 800 number and was not given much help on what to do. I would suggest that you have a data base that locations could put instructions for after hour dropoff. So when you call and ask they can look it up and tell you what to do for that location.

Charles DanleyLeft a "no" and only a average rating due to poor communication at this facility. Safe move, the Insurance...was added without a discussion about it, either at location or on phone when reserved. I have never used it, over 20 trucks rented... If you're alergic to dogs, the office has two small ones running loose...a little shy, NOT aggressive, but makes the office smell like a kennel.

debra tateThere were no furniture pads but I didn't need any. They were supposed to pick up the box after 3 on Thursday. With no warning they came on Wednesday morning. Good thing I had someone st my home who could unload it right then. From start to finish this has been anything but what I expected in a negative way.
Phyllis ViarsI really wished I was able to get a 10ft box truck and car hauler. I needed the space had to leave many items due to this not being available. The reason; you had one in Manassas but would not bring it to this location. you all need to move items for your customers.
Barbara MilamWas charged 479$ to deliver pods. Pods arrived and Jana was awesome but uhaul certainly charged me way too much to utilize their service. The next time I need to move I will be looking at way more cost effective options. Sucks that uhaul wouldn't Charge the standard 125$ fee the same one they charged to drop off and pick up. Pods were arranged very poorly at the drop site. One pod I had to move with a friends truck to gain access because it was in my neighbors yard facing away from my house and had a 500 pound adjustable base in it. Jana again was helpful but my overall experience was terrible. I spent in total over 4,000$!!! I just thought even for the distance I could have done better. PODS was more expensive then my original uhaul quote but by the time I was done I spent 1000$ over their estimate and they would have picked up and dropped off for 3k.
