Area was in a rough unsafe part of town. I returned the trailer the morning of 1/13. This is at a gas station and only the manager was responsible for the U-Haul service. He wasn't there. Let the store clerk know I returned trailer and would be back the next day with the truck. Returned truck on 1/14 at 11am, manager not there again. Notified cashier it was returned and that U-Haul was aware of the accident but told me to let the drop off sight know. She said she'd let manager know. The confirmation came in that the truck and trailer were both returned on 1/14 at 3pm instead and didn't mention there had been an accident. Overall just a horrible experienceJohnnie M.

After dropping off the uhaul in Lakewood, CO, we were told that the hookup wasn't done correctly and that someone was supposed to have been at our pickup to install the uhaul to our tow hitch. We only talked to the person at pick up over the phone. The man at the Lakewood uhaul said that that was a safety hazzard and he was glad we made it safely. That's scary and I would not recommend pick up from this location. How unprofessional and dangerous!Anna V.

Have your employees to confiim that the customer have returned the equipment, so they want be getting a call saying they haven't turned it in, and going to be charged for x amount of days when the equipment has been turned in. I received a call on a Friday when I turned the truck and car hauler in on a Tuesday.TOMMY T.
There was no one there to assist hooking up trailer, the cashier had help. Then when I began to load I noticed daylight shining through in multiple placesâ€¦1 of which was a huge gash in the roof. I stopped at 2 other distribution centers to get help sealing before loading and only Shea at Hwy 80 in Jackson helping to temporarily seal with some silver tape. She said that that trailer should have been sent for repairs and not rented out. Not happy at all.Marilyn H.

My pick up location was changed twice, and I did not receive the dollies and furniture pads that I had paid for and really needed. I was refunded for these items but it still made the moving process harder than it had to be.John W.

The pick up location had only one man handling a convenient store and trying to hook us up... hard for him to do it all... failed to notice the pad lock on trailer... we crossed town at 5 pm, and then found we couldn't load... had to spend the night, wait until 10:30 sat. Morning to have a dealer cut it off. Not happy.Daniel P.

The location was a convenient store with a lot questionable traffic in and out.Kevin H.
I was over charged By $35 dollars because my location was changed and no one took into consideration I would have to go out of my way 26 miles @ 0,79 each way not counting the time. O Please refund me $50 to compensate me for the additional mile I had to pay for and my time (nearly 2 hours). They also charged me for gas when I put more in it than it had in it.PAUL H.

This was not the original location that I reserved it, the original location was hwy 80. Not the best experience. I had to go to different places because I reserve it at one place and they didn't have it there I had to go somewhere else. Cost me a lot of time and gas.jeff G.
The chains on the trailer were not steel chains. They were not properly connected to the pickup, They were too loose and hit the payment. As a result two of the three chains broke and had to be replaced by U Haul Service person before we reached our destination in Michigan. It caused us about 1 hour delay.Dale C.

The staff were courteous but the truck did not have windshield wiper fluid in it and the lights on the truck even on bright was dim.. this made for very dangerous driving on the highway at night.. very displeased with the lights not working properly on the truck..Pamela S.

Didn't have the equipment I reserved. Also, it is inside of a gas station and the pick up is at the counter where everyone else checks out. Nearly impossible to check out a truck when there's a line trying to purchase from the convenience store/ fuel.Faith C.

The employee was GREAT! But we did not receive a call about our pick up location changing from the original reservation. Had to call around to find out. The wiring was damaged when we picked it up. Employee was helpful it helping us switch it. More communication prior to pickup would improve experience.Mary C.
I was confirmed to pick up uhaul in clinton ms. I was never contacted abc told the location was changed in me. The inside of tre uhaul was dirty. I am very displeased.
