I had to unhook the trailer myself after the guy Chris told me where to put the trailer. Stood buy the forklift knowing I was pulling over to unhook. Not a big deal for me to unhook it but this location literally did nothing except answer me when I asked where the trailer goes. Pick up Reno was very professional and helpful, not this place in Apple Valley.

TRACY D.We filled the gas to where we got it before we retuned it. We took photos when we picked it up and got charged $19 for gas. Also, we picked up a dirty truck. Returned it back cleaner than we received it and got charged a $25 cleaning fee.
marc V.I just received a receipt for fuel when I was received the truck with only 18 miles left. I bring it back with 1/4 of a tank fuel as requested and I get charged with it. I have photos of the entire thing. Not renting from uhaul again

Dorothy M.I had requested a dolly, but the dolly was not there, and the location was closed despite all the signage saying they would be open that day. This made my move very difficult and I will probably have to rent another truck to finish costing me a lot more than expected.

Lucretia J.The van smelled like animal and animal pee inside. Hair all over the seats. Dust all over the dashboard. This location also tried to charge me for 2 days rather than 1. I had it 2,5 hours and drove 18 miles. It's $19,95 a day but they charged me $39.90, plus the $13 for the 18 miles. They also did this to a friend of mine. I will never rent or suggest this place to anyone. Corporate office refunded me the $19,95 plus tax and was very helpful and apologetic. Full service diagnostics is NOT the place to rent a uhaul.
Jon D.Staff at the pick up location was extremely friendly. Complaint: at the pick up location, they store the trailers in an open field (not fenced) not even close to the office AND there was dog droppings all over the ground where the trailers were parked. We tried to step over the droppings but there was so much, hard not to step on it…DISGUSTING!!! Trailer was old, had a lot of dings (marked with “X'sâ€, the back door was extremely hard to close and hold down to lock. We ended up having a flat tire on the road because the tire was completely bald on the inside part of the tread. Roadside assistance ended up replacing 2 tires due to baldness.
Rodd S.When we arrived they did not have the additional equipment we had rented. So they sent us to another facility to rent them which took about 30-40 minutes. The lady who helped us was incredibly sweet though, she really did her best given the circumstance. We understand things happen, but it was very inconvenient for us given our tight schedule.

I told them to service the breaks before renting to another family, but it seemed they are more interested in renting then safety.

In fact the original location that I had selected. Changing my requested location is stupid especially when the original location had 5 of the trucks that I reserved. Maybe Penske has better customer service at the pickup location.

Adam H.I believe I was overcharged for my rental... 26 foot truck, for 4 days, 200 miles (approximately)... Charged $464+ on rental; then an additional $294 on return (with a full tank). That's NOT what I was told/expecting!

I wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out, and after not being able to find the first 2 trucks, I found one that had just been turned in and hadn't been cleaned yet. Not the locations fault, but maybe the address on the uhaul.com page can be updated to keep it from happening in the future.

SCOTT S.Rented car dolly for 24 hour period. Picked up at 9am and returned a few hours later. My receipt arrived in email a couple days later and it indicated I had rented 2 days. Jessica at the rental place helped me on pick up and return. The business is so busy they can't help customers in a timely manner. The car dolly had a strap that was torn half way through. The strap ratchets have not been serviced ever. A little oil is all they would need. I will NEVER rent from this location and will reconsider renting from U-Haul in the future considering this experience.

AUGUSTINA D.Online pick up did not work properly and caused frustration and confusion. Ended up redoing everything inside office with staff. I rate the online process zero stars. I rate the staff that helped me five stars. Corporate needs to get rid of their online system and just go back to working with people! The truck was great. We had no problems with it on our drive from California to Maryland.

Jennetta B.Have dedicated staff that work the uhaul rentals instead of running there own shop and train the employees on how to rent equipment and use a printer. Truck was patched together piece of junk that had no fuel below the empty line and insisted that it had to be that truck I rented even though there were plenty of other units available.
