But only because of fun jumps staff. Had to go to U-Haul place on ambassador caffery to rent a dolly. They said they couldn't rent to me because I had picked my truck up at a different location. And then they said they also couldn't rent me one because it was a one-way move. So I had tcouldn't rent to me because I had picked my truck up at a different location. And then they said they also couldn't rent me one because it was a one-way move. So I had to go back to the place the jump place and they said that was BS, I was very disappointed in this, and I know that they were lying at the ambassador Caffrey place

the original spot indicated that the truck was available. then we were notified we had to move to another location. so better inventory control, but it turned out not to be a big deal.

I reserved an appliance dolly and the location didn't have one. They called the nearest actual U-Haul location and they didn't have one as well. Customers should be advised prior to picking up the rental when items aren't available

When I picked up my U-Haul, the check engine light was on. Tried to contact the location. Can I get a hold of anybody multiple times when I got my receipt from U-Haul found out they added extra charges U-Haul when I refund the money because the location will not refund the money, even though they're the ones that charged me the extra money And I did not get a receipt from the location saying my U-Haul was checked in and so I contacted U-Haul about the situation

Trailer extremely worn down. It however, worked well. Hours of operation at this location is 10 am till 4 pm....very difficult to get in and out the city with these limited hrs. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

reserved truck and auto transport, only truck was available. i had to drive 30 minutes to another uhaul location to get an auto transport. reservation was made 3 days prior to my need, would not recommend to a friend.

Was supposed to be open for drop off until 5, no one was on site at 4:45. Called, was told UHaul section of the business closed at 4 after we rushed to get there to have in person check out. Was charged $25 cleaning fee! Total bogus charge & exactly what I was trying to avoid by doing in person check out instead of just leaving it unattended. Have complained to UHaul with no response.

I was charged out of nowhere for a second day that I did not schedule. I was very clear that the U-Haul was for six hours. Not 24. The truck was returned 5 hours into the rental with the fuel level it was picked up with.

What I was originally quoted for versus the actual bill tripled in size. I definitely would not rent for this place ever again. I took off safe move and some how I was charged 28 dollars for it when it was not on my reservation which I guessing it was added on at the register. So from 40 dollars to 110 dollars.

The guy seemed friendly enough when he realized we were there after ringing the bell for service. Then acted like he would check in the uhaul before we left (but didn't) we were a little confused and asked him if anything else was needed and he said no. Just asked if everything was there and clean. We said yes everything was the way we received it....then got charged a cleaning fee when there was nothing dirty or needed to be cleaned. We literally used it for a 4 hour window to move a washer and dryer. So ridiculous!!! Will NEVER use this location again, complete scam

Horrible experience. Website let me reserve the truck to be picked up at 7:30 am, I get there to pick it up and am then told I'm not allowed to pick it up until 10! Threw off the entire day and I didn't get to finish moving in time for drop off.

Filed an official complaint with UHaul against the site location…never received a phone call the evening before, as indicated on/line, and site owner did not care to discuss this. Our rental truck was not ready when we arrived for pick-up, and we could not use the 24/7 feature because the site had not checked the truck in from the previous rental. I had to ask to extend the return time since we got a late start. First time Using UHaul, but sites like this one definitely give than a bad name. I will NEVER use this site again!

Be honest and stop lying on paperwork to get more money from the people who are renting it. Mileage on paper was different than mileage on dash. Plus they charge me a after hour fee when I went there doing business hours and they wasn't at the office so they waited to process the return a couple mins after they closed for the day

I didn't catch his name, but the guy who checked me in started off patient and helpful then progressively became rude. His comment, "I have work to do," when I took a moment to read through the contract was uncalled for and made it seem as though I was inconveniencing him.

The steering wheel was in serious need of alignment. It was very difficult keeping the truck Straight. In addition, the passenger side window would slide down from all of the vibrations while driving.

I had specifically requested to pick up from a U-Haul location and in-person pick up. I was notified that I was transferred to a different pick up location, but when I called that location they told me that I was mis-informed. I had to be on hold calling anyone from U-Haul that I could think of for over an hour before I was finally able to get in touch with someone who could tell me where I was supposed to pick up my truck. THEN the opportunity to pick up in-person in front of an actual person was taken away from me and I had to use the online check in option. I don't have the luxury of many resources and their process of authenticating by calling multiple phone numbers that are not already registered under the order was ridiculous. I arrived to pick up my truck in the parking lot before my scheduled time, and didn't get to leave until about an hour later, once we were able to finally get through the online check-in. That's absolutely unacceptable. I am throughly dissatisfied with the pick-up portion of my order.

Keep a record of a customer calling to inform the staff of an emergency that will delay return. Which is what I was informed when I did just that and was told no extra charges would be given since I called to inform them of said emergency. Now, I have to dispute against added charges that were applied, the gas not meeting the same amount upon pick up when returned (it was over actually half tank was more than what was in the tank at pick up...2 hash marks behind half a tank), etc. So my suggestion is better record keeping on your. Receipts in my email confirm an upgrade to the order, even recieved the order showing 23 hours on that agreement instead the original 4 hours as when the order was placed showing exactly that I was given am upgrade with late charges on the new invoice with an amount of $0. Hope to resolve this soon.

On Saturday when I returned the van I was unable to locate gasoline because of Hurricane Ida. I told the person that I would be back on Monday to put gas in the van and he said that would not be a problem however I was charged for gas. They were also not open on Monday and their telephone number goes to a mailbox and I never received a call back. I was also charged $25 for clean up. The van was just as clean as when I picked it up and was told nothing about this fee.

This was not our original location choice, we were moved here by uhaul because our original place did not receive the size truck we reserved. Our Appt was for 8am, but the new location didn't open until 9am. However, the owner was onsite at 8 and was able to complete the pickup at our scheduled time. The other problem was that we still didn't get the size truck we reserved but this is not the fault of the new place. Uhaul should have moved us to a location that carried the size we rented, which they didn't so that is on them. We were not happy because the truck was too small and we weren't able to get all of our stuff into it. So bad on uhaul. The lady at the new location was very nice and helpful but unfortunately her location does not carry the larger trucks.
