WILLIAM L.Keep a record of a customer calling to inform the staff of an emergency that will delay return. Which is what I was informed when I did just that and was told no extra charges would be given since I called to inform them of said emergency. Now, I have to dispute against added charges that were applied, the gas not meeting the same amount upon pick up when returned (it was over actually half tank was more than what was in the tank at pick up...2 hash marks behind half a tank), etc. So my suggestion is better record keeping on your. Receipts in my email confirm an upgrade to the order, even recieved the order showing 23 hours on that agreement instead the original 4 hours as when the order was placed showing exactly that I was given am upgrade with late charges on the new invoice with an amount of 0 $. Hope to resolve this soon.

Jill M.On Saturday when I returned the van I was unable to locate gasoline because of Hurricane Ida. I told the person that I would be back on Monday to put gas in the van and he said that would not be a problem however I was charged for gas. They were also not open on Monday and their telephone number goes to a mailbox and I never received a call back. I was also charged 25 $for clean up. The van was just as clean as when I picked it up and was told nothing about this fee.

Adam D.This was not our original location choice, we were moved here by uhaul because our original place did not receive the size truck we reserved. Our Appt was for 8am, but the new location didn't open until 9am. However, the owner was onsite at 8 and was able to complete the pickup at our scheduled time. The other problem was that we still didn't get the size truck we reserved but this is not the fault of the new place. Uhaul should have moved us to a location that carried the size we rented, which they didn't so that is on them. We were not happy because the truck was too small and we weren't able to get all of our stuff into it. So bad on uhaul. The lady at the new location was very nice and helpful but unfortunately her location does not carry the larger trucks.

KYRELLE C.The truck was very filthy smelled like they hauled fish and cigarette ashes everywhere. The guy who rented out the truck did not do a walk around or noted the condition of the truck. I had to called u haul to have noted that I pick up truck filthy so I wouldn't be charged for cleaning fee.
PHYLLIS L.I shouldn't have to be charged with a 5 day fee when I dropped it off same day and fueled it exactly where I got it at! But just bc they didn't check it in until the 5th day that not my fault or my problem! No one had contacted me that I made the drop off in time or that day.. completely unacceptable!! I'm glad I caught it when I did and no telling who else got charged with this and didn't even know about it!!

Joseph B.Only issue I had was the ratchet straps. The previous people who returned the dolly had knotted the ratchet straps pretty tight, so it took a bit of effort to figure them out before I could load my vehicle. Other than that, the experience was great.
SAMUEL Q.Our original pickup was supposed to be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When we arrived to pickup our 26' truck, the truck was not available. The previous renter had not returned the truck and could not be contacted. The dispatch reached out to find us a 26' truck and there was not one anywhere within range. A 20' truck was available in Lafayette, Louisiana which was over an hour away. She gave us a discount on the truck. I just don't understand why there's so much leniency with renters when it inconveniences the next person in line to rent.

However once I received the final invoice the safe coverage was doubled to 28 $with no explanation why!! It also appears I was charged for 2 days instead of one. I rented the truck out for 12 noon and estimated I would only need it for four hours. When I realized I would go past that time, I called the store and spoke to the lady and told her I'd have it back by six and she said that would be fine and instructed me to put the keys in the drop box which I did!! So I had the truck for a total of 6 hours and was charged 39 $+ instead of 19,95!! Bad business!!

Hisham D.The online process was a disaster. There definitely needs to be a better way to check in and out the Uhaul. Worst experience to experience while in the middle of moving. And the online agents were no help, let alone the phone line. It took almost an hour just to pick up the Uhaul.
