james pWe used the drop-off box and checked the truck in online, so we didn't get to interact with anyone at the drop-off location. However, I am very happy with the ease of checking and would use the drop-off location for future UHaul needs.

john hgot right on app had a few problems but better than pick up no person was on site for this either. But ok. You guys need to work on the way things happen with the apps.
Marybeth SI was told to use the app to pick up the truck but the app wouldn't accept my drivers license number. So I couldn't get the truck at the 24/7 pickup.

BROWNE TThe help desk person made it clear to me that he didn't really care much if the transaction/return/etc went well… because this was not his main business. Upon starting the truck, the "check engine " light came on and it was on during my entire move. Luckily the truck never stalled, but the truck needs service. I returned the truck on 8 January at 7pm and I'm just getting a confirmation (15 Jan) that it was received.

ALLAN TGood day, My name is Nicole Applewhite, I rented a UHAUL from your company on 12/24/2020. The vehicle was brought back on time and within the normal miles. Why is my bill $153,09? That bill is crazy. I am furious, if I knew that's how high a price to pay for a few hours rental, I would not have come to you and I would have gone somewhere else where I paid $19.95. Nicole AWhoever had the truck before me spilled soda in the cup holders and on the floor so it was sticky and looked dirty. Before I returned the truck I cleaned the cups the best I could and the floor. It still needed to be cleaned some more. I also vacuumed.
Dora AI was charged for a hand dolly that I rented, but the equipment wasn't there. I ordered it, it was not there, and now I'm being charged for not bringing back an item I never fucking had in the first place.

Kay SWorst experience renting a uhaul. Trucks should be looked over by owner before they are rented out. Also very disappointed when I called for reservation and was told that the uhaul was 2,4 miles out of Smyrna Delaware which is where I love and come to find out they sent me 30 minutes out of the way. Spent more money just to go get the uhaul then I even needed it for.

john eDrop off location was 17 miles out of my way. A closer location was in Hamlin Pa. I was charged for going 5 miles over the allowable milage and also for gas after I had filled up the tank. I know the gauge reads a little lower than full, but that was because I had to drive the extra 17 miles.
DANIEL Hmake sure the trucks are being checked I had to clean it out before I could even use it. I was highly disappointed with this location which is on South DuPont HWY in Dover De.
PAUL Bonline key retrieval did not work. person in store had to call manager at home to complete rental. everyone was nice, but it seemed an unnecessary delay

Kasie HScheduled pickup for 12:30 PM. Due to congested traffic in area I arrived at 12:45 PM. Was informed that that clerk who handled rentals stepped out for an hour (for lunch and personal errands) and that it was no one there that could assist me. Was told to try and attempted self check through phone but failed .Meanwhile, I waited an hour for clerk to return while paying 100 dollars an hour for movers who was sitting at residence waiting for truck to arrive. I have never encountered this at any uhaul facility. I have always encountered multiple friendly staff who could assist customers. This rental costs me extra in moving expenses as well as time and rental agent didn't even care or apologize. The truck was excellent but the customer service at this location is horrible.
Jeffrey CEnsure that all of your customer service representatives or trained to answer and to assist with questions regarding the online U-Haul app. My experience with the representative, trying to make my deadline to turn in the truck was horrible.

Alysa BTruck smelled like smoke and there was garbage in it. We had VIP money to use towards the rental and was told that they will apply it at drop off to find out we got charged when we picked the car up. Still waiting for a manage to contact me.

David BVan had defective tire pressure sensor, seats were dirty and radio/audio system didn't work properly. The franchise also mis-stated the amount of fuel in the vehicle at pickup (they said there was more in the tank than there actually was).

Grace VWhen a person calls to reserve see if they need packing blankets and those load brace things so load doesn't move in truck. If you can't supply let them know where to get them from. Also I was not aware I had 3 days with the truck I thought it needed to be returned 24 hrs later since I was only going about 350 miles.
Mary SInform customers ahead of time if you are not going to have them pice up a truck in an inmaned location. Please remember that I am 58 and have rented from you before aand when you change your procedures you need to inform and educate your customers not treat them like they are stupid......THAT IS HOW I WAS TREATED BY YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I CALLED THE 800 NUMBER FOR ASSISTANCE.
Joseph DI will not use uhaul again. The costumer support put me on hold for 15 minutes and still couldn't help. Why do I need to download an app to rent a truck?? I couldnt get my truck for 2,5 hours after scheduled pick up. The truck sounded like it was about to lose a front wheel. Had I not been moving locally I would have had to switch trucks, I will be using someone else's the next time I need a truck

Eva SWe had to drop off before the store opened in order to be on time with the return. It was not logged in until over 6 hours later. It was reported as an extra day. Glad we took a pick of the gas gage, that was marked wrong as well. Ultimately we were refunded all overage costs. But, come on U-Haul, train your employees properly. It makes us feel your company is not trustworthy. I'll never bring back before or after hours again.
Thomas BI had to drive 45 miles away from my destination to drop truck off. I will never rent again. I was not told I couldn't drop off in my area.

Aaron Mno comment, everything went well, although i do question being charged for Monday Nov 12th, when the truck was returned on Monday prior to store opening. Being charged a 3rd day that i technically returned the truck prior to opening doesn't seem fair but i won't argue and cry over it.
