James BerryI think it is good that U-Haul has a statement to beware of surroundings. I went to fill gas across the street and it is the location the laborers wait for a contractor to pick them up for work.

Daniel BairdI booked my pickup for a location close to the location where I needed to load the truck. My pickup location was moved to another uhaul store that was 40 minutes north of where I had initially selected for pickup. It was extremely irritating to be forced to spend an additional 2 hours of my day in transit.

The location in Pooler Ga was so much closer than the one I first picked out which saved us a lot of time. I have chosen Uhaul 4times so far snd have not been disappointed yet-keep up the great service.

Mark HamptonOur original reservation at another location was unavailable due to them renting the truck to someone who didn't return it on time. The rental at Gabby's became available, and due to its closer proximity, we decided to pick up the rental truck from this location. When we started to load the truck, we discovered the oil light was on and that the oil level didn't reach the dipstick. When I contacted Gabby's, no one there spoke English, so they couldn't help me. After waiting for 2 hours to talk to someone in Roadside assistance, we were told to put oil in it.

TROY MC MAHANNo one there spoke English. The U-Haul truck reeked of smoke. The U-Haul truck was 2 miles to empty. I went across the street to the gas station. I was surrounded by 20+ Hispanics wanting to work. Overall, it was a terrible experience with the U-Haul rental.

CHARLES SMITHIt's a phone store. Not a U-Haul rental facility. The owner made that clear and complained about u-Haul and their operations during the whole transaction.
Luke BaldwinThere were a bunch of men drinking beer and playing pool in the adjacent room with the door open. They were playing loud music and talking so loud I could barely understand the lady completing my reservation. Men kept going into and out of the room which was very distracting since the office space is already cramped. Also the lady completing my order in the computer was training another lady in Spanish which made the whole process take much longer than the previous times I've rented from uhaul at other locations. The only reason I used this location was because they were the closest with the trailer I needed. I won't use them again.
MICHAEL GRIFFISDrop off location was closed. The area around the building was dark and unkempt and frankly a little scary. Large garbage containers, dark area invited a criminal element

Dorrington PoitierThe 24/7 system is a nightmare!!!!Would not let me complete my rental, when I called in and spoke with someone (after being on hold for 20 min.) was told that my rental was not scheduled was giving a number to call but was only able to leave a voicemail(never got a cal back) then the app said my rental did not qualify for 24/7 rental and had a # to call which stated that you could call 24 hrs a day another voicemail and no call back. Called the 800 # again this time left on hold for 15 min Amanda answered and the 1st words out was "can you hold" no hello nothing just "can you hold". Waited another 10 min,when see got back to me it seemed as if the call center was understaffed because i was told that they have 61 calls in que. So a rental that was scheduled to be picked up at 5:00 pm i was not able to get it until almost 8pm. Thank God that I pick it up the day before I actually needed it.VERY VERY unhappy with your 24/7 system. I will say that one good thing that Amanda did because I was ready to just go to Budget for a rental and had left U haul was wait on the line until I got back to the U Haul location.
Joseph EliasDid everything online under the assumption I could just pick up the keys. The lady at the counter did not want to give me the truck keys because it was after 5 and she couldn't access her system. Then she couldn't give me an appliance dolly because I didn't have a KO # for it. It took me an hour and a half to convince her that I had paid for the truck and only needed the keys. She kept trying to get me to come back another day. Overall it was a horrible experience and I'm unsure if I will ever rent with uhaul again.

We wish that the place would be big, the area where the equipment is park, but that is a very small problem. Customer service for us in this place is tops.

JIM WALKERI've rented U-hauls many times in the past. This time, the employee did not tell us to sweep out the truck, told us nothing about a cleaning fee, but when I got my final bill, I was assessed a cleaning fee. The truck looked the same when I turned it in as when I got it, so I just feel like I was ripped off. I've never, ever been assessed a cleaning fee before. Not happy.

Benjamin RansomVery friendly. I had a emergency with another moving truck. It was too cold,icy, their truck was block. Thank God. We waiting for moving toll truck to move the big truck out the way. I told my family they should have rented a second small truck. Not worth the hassle to go to another moving co to move you in the winter. Just do UHaul Only!
