Lisa L.Overall great experience and easy to deal with. However what I disagree with is I was charged $11 and some change for 3 gallons of gas. When we brought the uhaul back we actually brought it back with more gas in than we left with. I have a picture of how much fuel was in and miles to E when we picked up and dropped off and there was definitely more gas in it than when we picked it up and I was still charged for it.

Anthony J.My contract said there was 3/4 of a tank of gas. There was not. I did note this issue until I I arrived at the store to pick up bed and mattress-box spring. I'd driven 4 miles. I took photo of gas gauge and odometer. Made my load and delivery. I traveled 16 miles R-T. Put $10 in tank across street and turned in truck. Told agent of discrepancy. She said I'd be charger $42 for not filling tank to 3/4. Said I should have come back to UHaul immediately and I was responsible for issue. Told me she tells all customers to check fuel before the leave the lot. She did not tell me that. Every car/truck rental I've made in 50 years not once was I informed that it was my responsibility to confirm level of gas. Always the agent made that part of their check list. That's last time I rent from UHaul

The location is in a poor side of town and homeless/derelict looking men were hanging out in the parking area. Truck gauges were shorted and flashing running out of fuel warning and wrong odometer read out.

Chris R.They ripped me & my sister off..charged us 183 cause we are people of color ..we rented the truck on 1/4 tank & they charged us 183 talking about it was empty they lied & this Amanda chic gets on the phone & don't solve anything ..I advise anybody in the Gadsden area that's black not to rent from the UHaul on west meighan they will rip you off.. I'm currently in the process of trying to speak with cooperation before I move forward with a discrimination & civil lawsuit

Rebeccah V.My complaint is your mobile pick up system. I called U haul general customer service number to find out what to do since I was picking up the truck at 7 am and there was going to be nobody at the site. The person told me I just needed to have my phone and account number and log on to u haul and that's all it takes. The message I got on my text said the same thing. It did not say I needed another way to verify like having a passport (or the other items on your verification system). I had to go back home to get my passport. I think that at the least this is a misleading, inconvenient, inefficient, and sub par system. At worse, it is dishonest, trying to get customers to believe it is easy so that they would commit to rent the truck using your so called 24/7 system. Be honest and be clear (it this was mentioned in the tons of notes on your site I did not see it). It is not a pleasant experience when you are at the point of picking up the truck and just find out about it. Do it in advance. I did everything asked when I booked and I expected a much easier pick up . I understand the need for a photo and license photo, but that together with my phone (like you can send a code to the phone) should be enough, or you could do the extra verification steps tied to the phone in advance, SO THAT THE PHONE IS TRULY WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE PICK UP USING THE MOBILE.

Roger A.The trailer experienced a blow out and I was told we would have an extra day free because we were asked to pick up early, however we were then charged for the extra day. When I called to dispute this I spoke with a customer service person who hung up after waiting nearly 3 hours for a call.

James K.The after hours $20 fee was not deserving. I can understand people need off work. My off days are Sat and Sun. This location closes at 12:00 on Saturday and is closed on Sundays. I turned the key in the drop box. Customers shouldn't charged for the after hours. Nothing was done by an employee until the next business day.

Maria A.Nothing. The lady there was very helpful. She actually came outside and help hook up the trailer. The previous location I went in Rainbow City AL on Hwy 77 didn't have a transporter. The gentleman there made the reservation at the other location got my credit card to reserve it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
