Clean the truck. It was disgusting. Smelled like weed. The front seats had joints laying all over the place and lighters too, with both empty and full bottles on the floor. The right mirror was broken. The entire truck was filthy. When I got there, the back of the truck already had a bunch of empty boxes and trash, and equipment I did not need. With the help of a super nice passersby, we cleaned up the back and removed the equipment. On top of that, the automatic experience was VERY slow. The entire process took 2 hours in the freezing weather since it's not an office.. I had to go to a different location all together to get better reception. I was unaware you needed two methods of identification which was NOT specified prior to my reservation. Since I'm not Canadian, I had to bother my mom and my sister to get this truck. As well, the rental price went from an "expected" $65 to $100. The gas tank was also only 1/16th full, basically forcing me to pay for gas. Overall, pretty terrible experience and very dissapointing. Never doing the automatic pick-up again. The truck drove well, no issues there.Timothee C.

Well I did my reservation to reserve a 10 foot truck for Dec.28 at 10 o'clock am and it took 2 hours to have a reservation ok so far so good but I was supposed to pick up the truck at Irwin address in Lasalle but when I went there it was closed so I phone U-Haul direct and they told me it was closed for the holidays.Now what am I supposed to do now UHaul office gave me another address in lasalle and they told me I will give you a 50$ coupon for all my problems I had.So he told me to Cote StPaul.Now it'just about 12 o'clock so at the end I got my rental past 12:30hr and where I picked it at IRWIN address.Worth just about 80. Dollars on my credit card .Thank You very much plus the guy told me the gas gauge was just below the quarter but it was just below the empty mark so I was scare to run out of gas so I put 20 dollars so when I dropped the rental the gas gauge the gas was more than I got it when I left with the rental.Reginald D.

Pick up with your mobile phone is way to much complicated and long compared to be assisted by Uhaul employees. The truck was clean, but it was difficult to pick it and also to put it back to its original location on the parking lot.Marc Antoine G.

J'ai demandÃ© une rÃ©servation pour un camion de 20 pieds pour le 2 septembre en dÃ©but aoÃ»t. Le 31 aoÃ»t, j'ai reÃ§u un appel d'un reprÃ©sentant Uhaul me disant que ma rÃ©servation avait Ã©tÃ© annulÃ©e (Ã l'origine c'etait a St Hubert) et que je devais prendre le camion Ã Lachine. J'ai compris et acceptÃ©, car je n'avais pas le choix. Ã€ mon arrivÃ©e Ã Lachine (5505, rue Irwin), Ã 18h00 le 2 septembre, j'ai Ã©tÃ© informÃ© par M. Mathieu qu'ils n'avaient pas ce camion de 20 pieds et il m'a conseillÃ© d'aller Ã l'adresse 2100, rue Norman car peut-Ãªtre qu'ils pourraient m'aider puisque l'adresse pour la cueillette Ã©tait sur la rue Irwin mais la rÃ©servation contenait un autre numÃ©ro, dans ce cas, sur la rue Norman. La prÃ©posÃ© qui Ã©tait lÃ ne m'a pas aidÃ© et Ã©tait visiblement en colÃ¨re envers les clients. J'ai alors appelÃ© le numÃ©ro de cellulaire a Mathieu (il m'a donnÃ© son num perso) et il m'a demandÃ© d'Ãªtre patient et de retourner sur la rue Irwin et il m'aiderait. Bref : Le service direct d'Uhaul Ã©tait horrible et sans la gentillesse, l'attention, l'inquietude de Mathieu envers moi, je n'aurais pas pu demenager le jour suivant. Il a pris un camion de 10 pieds, ce qui m'a causÃ© beaucoup de retard car il m'a fallu 3 voyages pour dÃ©mÃ©nager, mais c'Ã©tait fait. Je lui donne donc 7 Ã©toiles / 5 possibles a Mathieu. Not impressed with the establishment, the employee or manager of the U-Haul location. They put extra charges on our bill. Changed it twice. They take no personal responsibility for not sending by text or email the truck information to verify mileage and gas. The gas was less than what was shown. We took photos to contest. They didn't like that so they added an extra charge for cleaning and a charge for not signing the truck out when I have text messages saying not to worry about it just put the key in the box. Unprofessional people working there. No care for costumer service. All about the money. So take your money elsewhere if possible. Track and take photos of everything if you have to deal with this location. We weren't the first people they've tried to screw over. Clearly.Victoria L.

I rented the truck got canceled the day before by u-haul a nice guy scheduled me.another pickup in dunham very far got there and the store was close then i found last minute that truck , i got it 2h later, the truck was dirty and gas so empty it was below the e. I returned it with 1/4 as asked and i dont have my gaz credit like.mentioned so im 60$ minimum down the hole. + the guy told me it was 29,99 per day deal x2 days ans you guys charged me 39,99$ x 2 so over all you own me 80$ on my whole bill. I called u-haum on that matter had to wait 2h on the stupid phone. Get your shit togetherGABRIEL L.

Nous avons dÃ» appeler votre service Ã la clientÃ¨le, qui nous a chargÃ© 20 $ et ce mÃªme si l'application ne fonctionnait pas. Aucune heures de service n'Ã©taient affichÃ©es Ã l'endroit du retour. Autres commentaires : toutes les communications Ã©crites avec votre entreprise nous ont Ã©tÃ© adressÃ©es en anglais seulement. De nombreux appels Ã votre service Ã la clientÃ¨le n'ont pas pu rÃ©soudre le problÃ¨me. Une plainte sera donc adressÃ©es Ã l'office quÃ©bÃ©cois de la langue franÃ§aise Ã cet effet. The van was full of mud on the inside, the chairs were full of cat/dog hair, i had to clean the whole dashboard because of how dirty it was and same thing for the front glass (that was full dead insects), it smells so much cigaretts and dirts that my father had an intense allergic reaction after driving it for only 20 min. The biggest issue as well was that the oil gauge was in a critical state (less than 10 %) when i arrived. Now lets talk about the pick up location: the place isnt made for this kind of service. The whole area was infected with a strong cigaret smell, i stayed inside for about 10 min and all my clothes absorbed the smell right away. The staff were so lost, they barely have a clue bout the whole procedure (they admitted it themselves that they are not used to any of this). When i entered, they made ME call a U-Haul staff to send it all the information (including asking me to take pics of the dashboard) by hand instead of asking me questions for them to take care of me. When i returned, i got called into their office, the staff there called U-Haul once again on speaker mode, it was so damn loud and they barely adressed me. I had no information about the extra cost or what i am paying for, the only amount i heard was during their conversation because the staff was so lost in the system. Overall very disapointed and would not only not recommend but also would like some damage refunds.Manh Duc N.

J avais modifie la date car j avais besoin plus tot que prevu, lors de ma reservation en ligne, j ai decline les assurances. lors de la possession, l employÃ©e est nouvelle, en contact permanent par appel video sur facebook avec son boss pour la transaction, ne voulait pas enlevÃ© les assurances de ma transaction, du coup, j ai Ã©tÃ© facturÃ©e des quelques choses que j avais pas besoin.Stephan R.
