All is was well. Right mirror had some cracks in it, making it a little hard to see incoming traffic from right side, but service was great. Thank you Alex

Abigail BThe 4 way flashers did not work, side view mirror was broken, the cup holders were all sticky, and the cab was dirty. When I have rented trucks from other locations it was not like this at all!!!
Barbara HIf the person uses less than 100 miles don't charge them for 100. In my case I only used 15 and it seems as if I'm being charged for 100
JEFFREY CRecommend your agents in the different places where they offer the car rental service to check the cars every time a client returns it because they gave me one that had a damaged rearview mirror and they wanted to hold me responsible for that damage, what I mean is They cannot hold another person who did not do the damage responsible for damage. Sometimes, unintentionally, one does not realize at the time that something is damaged.
Fidel BThe store clerk at the Garden Mini Deli where I rented the truck at was very rude, he didn't greet me, then when he finally asked about the reservation for the truck, it took a while then he just walked in and out of store while on phone, never telling me what the issue was, after 40 minutes of waiting, the other store clerk let me know that they couldn't get into the key lock box. When I did return the truck, the store clerk was still rude.

zitouni kWhen I returned the truck after having driven it for just 25 miles, and after having researched that on average U-Haul trucks get about 10 miles per gallon, I put 3 gallons of gas in the tank - more than enough to cover my trip - and yet I was charged $12,1 for fuel simply because I didn't know how to change the amount of gas on the acceptance form from 13/16ths to 3/4. I called the store (Valero) to complain about the extra charge, was told someone would get back to me - and they didn't. Even when I talked later to the correct person who told me he would call me back - he didn't., Now I am going to have to make a personal visit to the store because my phone complaints have not been addressed. This is an inconvenience for me. I also called U-Haul customer service who said I would have to talk directly to the store. And when I did the store told me I'd have to talk to customer service. I really don't like when businesses do this. Someone needs to accept responsibility and take care of my concerns.
RICK PEverything went well, U-Haul could update their trucks though, there wasn't even power windows! Lol
SALOMON SThe Garden mimi deli experience was not good. Part of the issue was the U Hul on line system has issues. I was told this by Katherine Saheghiar two hours afer I had returned the truck. and HAD NOT yet received a receipt. At pick up on Sunday afternoon I was told to Go Outside and photograph my drivers license. The man told me I could not tak the pictures inside, and HE COULD NOT take them. They also COULD NOT print receipts .
John sThis has been the worst experience I have had with U-Haul and I am a frequent user. The man in charge of this deli/ rentals was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was no service in the establishment which delayed my reservation by 45 mins, to which I received a phone call while there from U-Haul stating I was late. I was not late I was there arguing with this man. Then the truck was soiled- stains all around the inside, graffiti on the side panels and it wreaked of nicotine. Then upon returning the truck I received another phone call from the deli (man) yelling at me that I was late to drop it off. My own parents have never spoken to me in such tone and this man was yelling at me! Never again! Ghetto is an understatement when it comes down to this whole ordeal.
Caitlin VThe Garden Deli/Valero, Poughkeepsie, NY is a poor representative of UHaul. They serve their deli and fuel customer first before UHaul's ("I'll get to you when I'm free"). Communication is also poor as is their English language and comprehension skills. ("Did you unattach the trailer?", "Check the brakes" when it's a surge brake. It took 1,5hrs to check out my trailer and almost an hour just to check it back in. In addition to that, WRT to the trailer rental, 1) the wrong license was on the trailer, 2) the lights did not work until 20miles from completion of the rental, and 3) one strap was cut short such that I could not even use it for its intended purpose.
Sean MHad a temp. tag for a plate with wrong number on it. I needed to use it so I said nothing. Wasn't sure it was registered or not.temp tag out of Kansas? U5042. KS
Karl HI needed to scan my license at check-in, but there was NO CELL coverage at the location. I had to drive a mile away to get to a different cell tower + upload my license. The staff knew about the problem, having WIFI available would have eliminated the problem.

Charles BI hate to give bad reviews but feel compelled in this case. Putting aside the pick-up time confusion that happened first, this vehicle should not be on the road. It was filthy inside the cab and the check engine light was on. The 'Tow' option was stuck in the on position and wouldn't turn off. Of course it was a rainy day so that made things dangerous with Tow unable to turn off. The steering and the brakes were awful and a serious danger. As I'm walking out to get the truck the man informs me, "oh by the way, there is no dolly in there." Although I had reserved this and really did need it, I'm told after the fact. Just an awful experience from start to finish but the vehicle being a serious hazard prompted this awful review.
Lucas BImprove the website's efficiency. It took quite a while for each photo to upload and to continue to the next screen.
Trevor RTruck should be retired. Passenger door wouldn't close causing a lot of wind noise. Given the jolting ride, I'm surprised my fillings didn't fall out. It took forever to shift into high gear. Otherwise, lovely.
William CThe check engine light was on, the headlights kept flashing when driving and the right turn signal did not work when the night lights were turned on. The truck had 150 000 miles on it and the electronics in the truck need some sort of maintenance. I spoke to the UHaul owner before and after I took the truck on my way.

MISSY KTrain your employees. There was a lot of confusion because they had the date wrong, even though my confirmation had the right date. Your rep couldn't give me information about tolls. I never got final invoice. They were friendly enough but completely untrained and inefficient.
kerry cDo better. Was overcharged, was assigned coverage when coverage was declined. Submitted a statement on the website that didn't work and just got charged for nearly $100 for no reason.

Vince MMy original reservation was in Kingston - which is 6 miles from me. The day before i received a call from UHaul that i needed to go to Poughkeepsie - which is 25 miles from me and tolls. I don't understand why the car dolly could not be brought to Kingston for me considering the extreme inconvenience it caused me due to no fault of my own and the short notice.

Ed BTruck was below empty when picked it up, clerk was rude and took 40 minutes to process it( was staring at women the while time and making comments about them) they charged me for property insurance when I said I didn't want it, they charged me for Gass even through it was empty when I got it, they charged me for 2 days when I only had the truck for 4 hours.... worst experience with uhaul, all the reviews on this location state the same issues ....these guys are frauds. Close this location down !
Brandon MI said NO to recommend cause of UHAUL not the location. Uhaul people tell something and don't do it. The supervisor should have put it in the notes. I will not use uhaul again. I had a hard time with Uhaul Oct 2018 and I'm having a hard time again. Not no more. I will use Penske next time and tell all my friends and family.
