Be more friendly laugh at the customer jokes and hide the cat next time

JENNIFER LWould not recommend pay for any amount of extra time, would not recommend going thru the app or online deal with a person directly because if the gas isn't correct or the miles aren't correct they ask for pictures for "proof" and then they want to argue with you about what the pictures show and I'm not talking about customer service I'm talking about the area field manager worst experience ever. I paid for a extra day and they would not credit me back a portion because I picked up at 2pm and retuned it at 7pm had to go thru hell and high water to get the extra charges removed first fuel I picked up with 23 miles to empty dropped it off with 33 miles to empty provided proof of both yet still had to go back and forth to receive that back I'll go to Penske from now on and I'll only recommend family and friends to stay away from this place

DIANA KThe person working there was not very friendly, he did not go over the truck with me before renting, the truck was filthy both the cab and the and the bed. The cab had doritos on the passenger seat, dried mud on the floor dirt,straw, grass all over the floor. The box part had wet mud, dirt straw, nerf darts, and the attic part was just as dirty and i have no idea what was up there if it was dirty plastic bib with bugs or food on it or if it was something else i really couldnt make it out. Thankfully i only needed for a couple hours to move 3 pieces of furniture and i made it work. I have used other U Hauls in the past and never had a problem but would defintely not rent from the General Rental Center of Lynwood on Glenwood Lansing Road again. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Desiree HRep at pick up location was extremely rude with a non pleasant attitude. He has a cat in the store sitting on the counter, jumping everywhere, climbing near customers. I said several times my daughter is allergic to cats and he never put the cat in the back. Cat hair is all over the store on rental material as well. Nasty salesman with a nasty filthy store.

Julie BLeave more than 1/8 of a tank in the gas tank! The average person has no idea how much gas a large truck is going to take. Since those huge trucks are difficult to squeeze into a gas station to fill, it would be a courtesy to your customers to simply fill the tank to at least three quarters and let the customer return the tank 3/4 full. I lost at least $75 because I overfilled the tank, and U-Haul's no refund policy on gas really stinks. I'm going to be looking for a different company next time.

Brenda BThe owner has a cat on the premises, and as a result, the facility smells like cat urine on the inside. Also, the vehicle was displaying a "low tire pressure on right rear passenger side". I rented the same truck two times and both times the message was still there. Finally, the area around the cupholders needed to be wiped down.

Jennifer LInquire about EXACT time equipment is due back, EXACTLY where it should be parked upon return. Also, be aware that confirmations MUST be made while in the UHaul premises as well as during self-checkout AFTER hours. Photos of odometer/gas gauge, cabin cleanliness, lic.plates are HIGHLY recommended.
