The cab was not clean inside; no large trash but there were cigarette buts in the cab and it smelled of smokeTheodore P.
My pick-up process was awful, I sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes going through the online process. The website kept shutting down, on top off trying to upload pics, etc. Why not have this process done the day before so that customers will already be set-up and can just log-in their acct day off to obtain the lock box code.Lynette K.

When a Customer makes a reservation for a vehicle with (in person) that's what it should be. I know do to the Covid-19 it is hard, but I was ask online and I requested (in person) That's what it should have been!!!!.... 1st - We we went to pick the truck up on Nov. 28th at the location in South Holland IL. at 345 Taft St. was abandoned and not what Uhaul said it was far as a business. Me and my Husband thought that this was very very strange to pick a vehicle up from this location so I called Uhaul. And they confirmed that this was the location. The vehicle had PREVIOUSLY DAMAGES TO IT ALREADY. And my Husband took PICTURES of the truck (front - back, side - side) All the pictures have Time & Dated stamp on them. 2nd - I ordered a 2 wheel dolly and there was a 4 wheel dolly instead. I instantly called Uhaul and reported it. I was told to go back into the location, but HELLOOO the place is abandoned. So the rep said go to the nearest Uhaul location to rent one. The location in Markham IL had none they were with all of their vehicles. I was told that I would be credited and I had to buy my own. 3rd- the truck was supposed to be retured on Dec.1st. I spoke with a Rep. on Dec. 3rd regarding the return of the truck and the location (rep said in order to continue with the rate it had to be returned to the previous location and they said we had to look at a video to return it. We returned it on Dec. 3rd at the South Holland location after 7. Uhaul was closed by than and I was having trouble trying to cash out my purchase so we left the vehicle there. I was called regarding the return on the 4th. I told the (Rep Jamie) (so helpful) that we had some problems trying to cash out and returning the keys. She stated that the gentleman that is over the place was going to be there for a short time on Saturday Dec. 5th and I could do (in person) with him but we had workers to do work at our house and I could not meet. So we went back to return the keys on Sunday Dec. 6 and I spoke with (Rep. Alexa) very helpful too, because the charges were more than they should have been and i was not going to paid them. She said we could just put the keys in the box and that the charges would be taking care and corrected on Monday Dec. 7th and that we would not be charged from Dec. 3rd. I received a phone call from a man (Supervisor) Mario Collada. Very, Extremely, 100 % RUDE AS HELL. This man after asking for my Husband which I spoke to him just went in and started going off about us damaging the truck and I went back off and told him that we did not Damaged the truck and that my Husband has pictures that he took of the truck before we left the Abandoned Property. He told me he was the Supervisor and he knows that vehicle very well and they were not on there and he is going to charge me for them.... And I told him if you know that vehicle so well and that you inspect it after every Customer than you know that those DAMAGES were already there. And I will sue you and Uhaul.... I called Uhaul and requested a manager who filed a complaint. I have been using Uhaul for years and never had a problem until nowww. This is way we requested for a in person so the vehicle could be inspected in our faces and this is way my Husband took pictures....Irving W.
Put signs in the door letting the public know the time someone is there especially if you all have trucks out for rent. It's causes a huge inconvenience I put a extra 10 miles on the truck coming back to you guys 30 mins after I figured out my dolly was missingAlexandria B.
If a customer calls and informs you guys that they left something inside the truck and already put the keys back in the return box actually have someone call them back to let them know if someone is showing up to get his belongs out of the truck.ivan H.
When I asked about returns, I was told I could return the trailer at any time by my due date (I returned to a 24hr Inc), this was not true and I was charged a late day because of this misinformation.Alyssa Y.

His customer service beforehand on the phone, his assistance to my young adult daughter who picked up the trailer and then his call to me after she left to let me know she was on the way back...all interactions with him were highly professional and caring about U-haul products as well as our needs.Denise F.
