Ira JNo issue with the pickup location. My original requested location for my reservation didn't have the 6x12 trailer I requested 10 days prior to my desired pickup date. U-Haul corporate representative informed a day before my rental that I would have to travel 30 miles instead of 3 miles to pickup my rental. I view this as poor online service and will definitely consider this in my next rental with U-Haul.
Larry PGeorgen Auto was easy to work with and pick up the rental from. When I inspected and found a concern with the trailer they rented me, they switched to the trailer of my preference with no hassle.

Bryan HMy attempt to reserve on line failed so I call 800 number. So told that the trailer at Manchester location was not available. Stopped at Georgeon at 3:45 which is 3:30 pickup time a day trailer was still there. They went out of there way to get trailer rented to me. They got my needs taken care of. Uhaul needs a better tracking system on availability.

Sharon` SNothing to do with location: your app made pickup really difficult as it wouldn't find my location though I granted access. I ended up having to go to the website itself to pickup. This took 45 mins to figure out. Plus I ordered and paid for a dolly and blankets, but there were none in the truck.

Mike Myour app is awful. we sat there for 50 minutes trying to get logged in and get account verified. dropping off took 30 minutes. way too clunky not user friendly app. Not enough info provided ahead of time to do mobile check in
Robert SThe pleasant young lady told me to go ahead and hook onto a trailer and go. She would send someone to help me if I needed it. I didn't need help, but I was surprised they didn't want to verify that I was taking the correct trailer or record the serial number of the trailer that I took. I checked the lights before I left for my trip and all were working, but a half hour later we were pulled over for having no trailer lights. The fuse on my SUV had blown. I replaced the fuse and 100 ft. later it blew again. I wiggled wires under the trailer to determine where the problem was. I gobbed electrical tape around the wire to restrain it from moving and the lights worked for the rest of the night. The next day I drove in daylight. That night the fuse was again blown.
Robert WThe gentleman at Georgen Auto in Manchester Iowa was very rude to us. He was the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with. I will never rent from this location again and do not recommend anyone else rent from here. I defiantly would not take my vehicle here to have it worked on.
Timothy RThe truck was not cleaned off. I had to scrap the ice and snow off myself. There was food in the cab on the floor and soda cans. Cardboard across the front seats, too. And no gas in it. And my bill is wrong. Waiting on that to get fixed as well. 200 over charge.

We took a photo of the gas gauge at exactly the same level it was when we picked it up, and we were still charged 8.50. Didn't contest it since it had been a long day and we just wanted to be done with it.
Karena WTHE ENCLOSED TRAILER HAD ONE SMALL INTER-RAIL YOU COULD NOT FASTEN A STRAP. THE FRONT AND THE OTHER SIDE RAIL YOU COULD FASTEN TIE-DOWN. THEN MY CARD GOT CHARGED TWICE THE TOTAL SO I HAD TO CONTACT GEORGEN AUTO.

Thomas EEven though the reservation was made at one location, and that is not guaranteed, the location that you have to drive to, to pick up the truck should be open and accomodating. I had problems logging in to start with, that trickled down to all kinds of problems, starting with the location I made the reservations with.
Carol CExtremely frustrated that I reserved a trailer at a specific location online but had to travel 45 minutes to get the trailer at a different location. What is the purpose of reserving online weeks in advance if you can't even get what you reserved where you reserved it? Added another level of stress on top of my already stressful move half way across the country.

The person I finally talked to, once she hung up the phone and quit ignoring me barely knew that this location was a U-haul location. I had to explain that I was returning blankets several times before it soaked in.The second time I returned their was no one present.

Mark AI have dropped here in the past and they are very nice here. Uhaul kept sending me emails that they wanted the trailer back sooner than my full time. Sending me emails that this location closed at 11:00 on Saturdays. Dropping it off before they opened was no problem, but dropping it off during hours would not work. This whole experience was about what was good for Uhaul and not me.
