Between U-Haul and pick up point problems with reservations at pick point Gilchrist building supply. They had blank destinations and all the information I put in online was not transferred. Also I had drop off point was Requested at Mountain city, but In route it was changed to Boone NC. Almost gone bad, but Dawn at Roberts family U-Haul went beyond and made it happen. Dropped of Mountain city, Tn. Big thanks to Dawn

FAITH PThe rigamarole the office staff has to go through seems extreme and time consuming. Hook up was easy and photos were taken of the hook up to ensure all was done as required. The staff at Gilchrist Building Supply are very friendly and easy to work with.

stephen hPick-up took half an hour due to Uhaul procedures. Customer service had to call Uhaul to get a code to get into the system; then needed to text me a message to upload a picture of my driver's license. More information, more paperwork. Really the process needs to be streamlined.

DAVID PHad to change trucks twice and stilln it was dirty and the gas gage did not match the paperwork. The employee that handles that area did not seem to take his job seriously and seemed bothered that I didn't want a Truck that had been smoked in and not cleaned at all. I don't smoke and have no desire to drive 500 miles and smell an ashtray the entire way! The truck I finally settled on was also dirty and had damage that had not been noted! Alex a second employee finally stepped in to help and made things right, paperwork and all. I settled because I had people waiting to load the truck and was paying them by the hour. With all the delays in signing out a truck it delayed my process by over an hour! Not pleased at all with the whole thing. I would not recommend anyone get a truck at this location until that get thing in order.
NORMAN SCharged me the extra 42 even tho in my contract it gave me an extra 2 days.
ANDREW MI had no problems with U-haul and would recommend Uhaul to others until dropping off at Gilcrest Building Supply...... They said my paperwork had 15/16 worth of gas when I picked up the truck. On top of the $1 000 plus bill they charge an extra $ 24,75 for the difference in gas. I my opinion, I though the gas charge was petty! I also spend a lot of money during the course of the year at Gilcrest Building Supply on farm supplies and such..... in the future I maybe switching to Ace for said supplies instead.....
KEVIN KOriginal reservation was at Fort White Florida which had no one present at location although people were working in back shop and garage doors were open. Another client was also there to pick up equipment and couldn't get their truck. Piss poor excuse for vendors and bad representation of uhaul brand… more like hee Haaaa donkeys at Fort White! Went to Bell Florida location and no problem.

ralph rsales associate was not knowledgeable of the rental process, it took an hour to set up. when I returned the next day to pick it up the paper work was wrong and had to be done again. the trailer was dirty inside and out. the associate informed me he doesn't clean them .will never do business again at this establishment.

Randy WU-haul needs to get it's act together. What is the point of me reserving a trailer only if I still have to go through the whole process, not once - but twice because the system kicks it back out. Gilchrist Building did make it easier though.
