The process os very long. We rented the truck for 3:00 pm. doing thd mobile checkin. By the time they finished the approval prices, it was 3:30. Too long of a process

Only gave 4 stars because owner wasn't there when we arrived, but came shortly after I called. Otherwise, 5 stars!
After the problems (And added cost) I had getting a truck different from I had reserved at the pickup location, I just got an email from credit_collection@uhaul.com telling me I owe them $1.50 for toll. Nothing wrong with the pickup or dropoff locations, it's Uhaul's system itself that messed up every step of the way.
This was an empty and overgrown parking lot with an empty building and a key-drop box. I called the number on my contract to let them know I arrived, because I was a day early and because everything I had seen up until then made a huge deal about checking in online/in person when you dropped off. The person on the phone pretty much said "okay, drop the key off. I'll check you in in the morning." And that was the whole conversation. Nothing about if I would get reimbursed for dropping off a day early. When I got the bill by email the next day, I was actually charged $50 for an extra day. Still haven't heard back from customer service.
Maybe don't attempt rent trucks out of a closed business and waste people's time and money.
