When I picked up the vehicle, I was not told check the condition of the vehicle. I received one text and several e-mails after I had left the lot instructing me to do that inspection. I don't check text or e-mail while driving. The vehicle had two warnings on dashboard. 1 Low Tire and Low on windshield wiper fluid. When I returned the vehicle I was told that mileage would be checked in 25 minutes and I would receive a receipt. I never received a receipt. Overall, this did not feel like a professional operation.Verney G.

I was overcharged for mileage. This is UHaul's fault, especially because the UHaul app is AWFUL and I was not able to upload my mileage photo. This is not the fault of the employees at this location though. But I would really like a refund for the mileage overcharge.Jennifer C.

You would think that the U-Haul drop-off locations would have someone to help take off the tow dolly. There was nobody there to do this for us, so after a very long drive for two days, my son had to crawl under the dolly and get on his back (ON THE DIRTY PAVEMENT) to try to figure out how to undo the chains, etc. The whole experience was just a tiring hassle, and the main U-Haul representative in the town where we arrived wasn't helpful at all .Wendy K.

The equipment was for local use because it is not long-distance worthy. We had to switch trucks when our move changed from local to long-distance but they were very helpful in closing out this contract and opening another. Unfortunately, we had to transfer all of the items from one truck to the other. While the location is not ideal (small older convenience store) they were open on Sunday and for that, I was VERY grateful. The staff is friendly and helptul.David H.
Location is an older (small) c-store but they were open on Sunday and, while the operation is small, they were helpful and there were no issues with the process. While waiting between c-store customers is not ideal I truly appreciated their being open on a Sunday!DAVID H.

The front of the truck was covered in bugs. I had to pull over to clean the windshield.MARK T.
DC1111T was literally the worst vehicle I have ever driven. The truck sways 1/2 a lane on its own and with no reason. It needs to be taken out of service and repaired immediately. The truck barely started, thankfully I was only using it locally. The manager also lied on the return report, the vehicle had nearly 3/4 of a tank when I returned it. Thus the 28 $fuel charge is not okay. I have already disputed this with my CC company. My Uhaul experiences have gotten worse and worse through the years. Consider this my last rental unless you can fix this truck and refund the fuel discrepancy. Seriously it was a horrible vehicle and experience. I am pissed to say the least.Michael C.
Pick up process took longer than I expected - waited at front of the store for what seemed like 10-15 minutes while agent worked in the back room to prepare for my pick-up (Reservation had been made on line). Then, later, I received at least 10 redundant email messages regarding the contract and U Haul services.Alan S.

Small convenience store with UHaul component. One person manning the store with customer traffic for the convenience store coming in. Initially, the worker commented to me he had no space for my car dolly even though my paperwork directed me to this location for turn in. Ultimately he came outside and took the dolly. He had plenty of room for this item. I had to ask for a turn in receipt which he supposedly emailed to me. I still have not received the receipt but I took photos of the dolly parked at this location to prove I turned it in. They need more staff at this location apparently.KEVIN B.

For next time, if possible would you please fill the gas tank to 100 % so I don't have to fill up while managing the relocation of an apartment. It's just more work for the customer. Overall though, incredible people own this Golden, Co U-Haul. They are super friendly. I made it safe to my destination. Thank you fam.THERESE O.

The pictures on the website showed that the 5x9 Utility Trailer has a built in wheel chock for a motorcycle. This trailer did not. Turned out it wasn't an issue, but was not as advertised. Otherwise, everything was great! MerciCalli K.

Very committed staff. I didn't have to wait unnecessary. The woman was extremely thoughtful and kind. She called to check in as well and committed to finishing up my paperwork within 30 minutes and was done within 10. I did not have to wait it was just nice of her to tell me. Great service. I would not recommend u-haul anymore after complicated check out process. I wasn't given option to review the van, or enter gas level, didn't how how high to fill it up, wasn't even sure the check in process was complete. The web app was constantly stopping and telling me to go talk to an agent at the desk (which was closed ..). Tried to call, no answer. I ended up, with a blank page, receiving an email with a confirmation that I had successfully checked out the truck, even though I didn't go through the inspection! Pretty bad! At least, this time, the steering wasn't completely F***ed on the van... And that's not saying much. Will not use again, I'll go to your competitor from now on.Xavier P.

Very small lot to return equipment. Had 26' truck with auto transport. Not enough room to maneuver and back up truck and auto transport. Seems location unable to handle all equipment. Location did not do any return paperwork and did not return cash deposit of 100 $dollars, left it to U HAUL headquarters.Ned W.

We paid ahead online, and when we showed up to pick up the trailer we were charged an additional 100 $above what was quoted online and that we had already paid. This was more than we were expecting to pay, and we choose what vehicle and when and where to drop off based on the quoted price. To show up and be charged an additional 100 $was very disheartening, but because this was added at the last minute there wasn't time for us to choose another option or do anything about it. It seemed very sneaky. I will not recommend Uhaul to any friends or family, and will not use them in the future.Thomas M.

Confusing drop off procedure; where to park not clearly marked. And Uhaul charged me for an extra day because I used the app to return the car, which required pics, which resulted in me submitting the return at 7:01 (instead of 7:00). Also, the tires were bald and we drove through a snowstorm; it felt as if the truck was trying to drive off the road. Finally, the minimum rental days policy is stupid. There is no scenario in which I would take more than 2 days to drive from St. Louis to Denver. Requiring a 5-day rental is clearly a money grab. I kept the car just to be sure that Uhaul wouldn't be able to rent it out on the days it was charging me. And the environmental fee is BS. I looked into it, and Uhaul uses the money to retrofit its fleet, which clearly is in Uhaul's own interest. Just roll it into the rest of the fee, WTF.Sam J.
