I give this location 1/5 stars for the personality of the man we interacted with but 0/5 stars for the overall service and experience. Get ready for a novel: I have used U-haul numerous times over years without issues but this was the most horrendous experience I have ever had with any business! I had reserved a one-way truck a month an a half in advance, only to get a call the afternoon before pickup saying my 15ft truck was not available at the location I requested and they referred me to this location. I was in the midst of packing for the move and didn't look up this second location in advance - this was my first mistake. I show up to pick up the truck the next day at the agreed time only to find no truck and nobody around. I had to call the number and they said they would bring a 15ft truck over within 15 minutes. They were timely but it still caused a delay. Once the truck was there, they had to hook up the tow dolly and I had to complete a whole new contract with a man via phone - this was the first hour of a couple hour delays due to U-haul issues. I went to leave the lot but told my husband to take pictures of the truck - thank goodness he did because the fuel was just at 1/8 tank (contract said it was between 1/4 and 3/8 full) and with about 400 more miles than the contract claimed (learned this information later). I never receive a link to â€œverify before you goâ€ until the next day after I talked to a customer service representative about the issues from pick up day. The truck was filthy, full of trash, reeked of cigarette smoke (my husband had to dump the ash tray), and had no working A/C. Not to mention, the outside was in ROUGH shape - I was worried it would make the 800 mile trip (come to find out this was a truck was NOT suppose to be going on a one way trip). Due to the delays during pick up, we were busy the rest of the day trying to get the U-haul packed while it was still light outside and our friends were still available to help load. So the next day before we set out on our trip, I contacted a customer service rep who took some of my complaints down but told me I had to deal with the issues upon return. She sent me the â€œverify before you goâ€ link I was suppose to get the previous day. Through this link I learned that the outside condition was much worse than the last documented pictures and the mileage was about 400 miles more upon pick up than they claimed (we have picture proof). I don't know if someone was trying to pull a fast one and get us to pay for someone else's damage or usage but this is where things started to get even more frustrating! Once I put in the mileage we got the truck at - it said the mileage couldn't be adjusted and I had to call a customer service representative again. At this point, we were delaying hitting the road across the country to deal with this nonsense. We had to leave so I just got in the car and called another rep from the road. This second representative was much more helpful and added all our original pictures from pick up day (which we couldn't add to the verify and go link (need to be new pics) and took note of all my complaints and issues. She informed me this truck was actually 17 ft, which I had no idea about. She was very apologetic and helpful! She also gave us road side assistance's number - in case the truck broke down due to the poor condition and lack of recent inspection. For 800 miles, my poor husband had to drive in the cab of this dirty U-haul that smelled like cigarette smoke with poor ventilation due to no working A/C. Just three hours into the trip some of the tires started to look low on air. It was a nerve wracking trip but thankfully we made it and returned the truck to a location that knows how to properly handle U-haul business - unlike this location.Emma C.

I was surprised to find the location completely unattended. I had no problem with that as it was easy to park and disconnect the trailer. But is someone like my wife had been dropping it off, this would have been a big problem as she would be unable to detach it. The user should be warned that a selected location will be unattended during the posted business hours.Timothy P.

Over this past Friday and Sunday I have spent over 1 000 $(1 500 $if you count moving help) on a 26' Truck & 15' Truck. The 26' truck was fantastic. The 15' Truck I had a horrible experience with and would like my money back. It started with the pickup location. The hours said they were open but they were not. I had to call someone to check out the truck over the phone. I got in the truck and immediately was hit with the aroma of cigarette smoke (which I relayed to the person checking me out). Next this truck was filthy and not COVID ready but I had no choice. Cheeseburger wrappers in the cup holders. Windshield and Windows smudged and dirty. Windshield Wipers old and did not work properly. There was no cruise control and I had to immediately fill the tank because it was under 1/4 to start with. I am not happy with my experience and am requesting a refund. I felt dirty all day and only wondering if the person before me had COVID as it definitely was not COVID ready.Robert D.

I contacted the gentleman I was on the way to drop off the trailer and when I arrived he was at the drop off location. He un-hooked the trailer, completed the check-out process and I was on my way.GAILJOHNSON E.

Both of my locations got moved at the last minute. I don't think you should let people make a reservation somewhere unless you know you have a truck. It was very inconvenient. When I got there no one was there to check me in and the self check on my phone would not work. I had to spend 10-15 minutes on hold with U-Haul and get them to check me in.Nick S.
We ordered and paid for dolly rental but when we picked up the truck there was no dolly. I had to borrow one from my uncle. We had to call customer service because the instructions in the app told us to go inside for assistance to pick up the key when in fact the key was in the back of the truck. This wasted about 30 mins of my rental time. We normally use Dobys Shell to rent because their service is always stellar. I wont be using this location again.Adam W.
