Customer service is all about making the customer happy. The equipment is reserved for 3 days to each customer. The day after I pick up my equipment, I get a call asking me to make sure I turn in my equipment on time, because someone else has reserved the equipment. There was no, "Hello, Mr. Figueroa how's your day? Have you arrived in El Paso yet? That's nice...Welcome to El Paso. We know that moving can be very stressful, and we hope that the team at U-Haul has taken some of that stress off your shoulders. This call is also to remind you that turning in your equipment on time is important, because we have others needing to utilize the equipment you currently have." Then verify the drop off location, and end with... "Thank you again Mr. Figueroa for using U-Haul to transport your belongings and loved ones to your desired destination. Please fill out our survey included in your final email to leave a review of your U-Haul experience. Have a wonderful day" That phone call would have made a world if difference to my experience if it had gone the way I just described. But because it wasn't as pleasant I will never use it recommend U-Haul to anyone. (Unless of course you hire me to train your staff, to provide excellent customer service as I am a Custoner Service Motivational Speaker.) Person renting me the vehicle did not know how to use the uhaul rental site and I had to do everything on my own. I could've changed all kinds of prices and he wasnt there to do it properly.

The associate helping me had to keep giving the customers going in the store priority over me. I think maybe a 2nd associate is needed or a faster system should be implemented to help those who work at the store. If you are in a hurry it may not be the best place to go (specially during the weekend).
