The location itself was fine. The time it took for both pickup and return was excessive. By reserving and entering all of my data online, I had hoped to make the pickup quicker. I was wrong.Thomas T.

I rented a 15' uhaul and when I picked it up the gas gauge read almost full but not quite full. It also stunk intensely of stale cigarette smoke. After getting about 60 miles away I had to stop and put air in the tires. In the two days I had the truck it died on me four times in the middle of traffic. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. Would not recommend.Scott B.

Tow dolly had taillight that was out and chain was damaged. Ended up returning for another reason and was charged anyway for the rental.Matthew S.
The owner refused to do walk around for the vehicle which had undocumented damage. The receiving location wanted to charge us for it. Fortunately we had taken pictures prior to leaving the pick up location.Thomas J.
The location was fine and the clerk was very kind. But my pick up experience was not good. I reserved a 10' truck online through the website got to the location and they didn't have me in their system and didn't even have 10' trucks available. After waiting on hold I got tossed around with customer service with UHaul and they told me they scheduled me at a different location which was not reflected in my order details or anything when I went to the Mobil pick up. They gave me a 15' truck at not extra charge. But the clerk still didn't have me in the system. I don't know what was done but he gave me keys to a truck. It wasted about 45 minutes of my time. I will think twice before using uhaul again.Tyler W.

First off, the gas station lady didn't know how to work the machine to get my uhaul set up so I actually had to use the computer and follow the prompts for her. She didn't have printer paper so she was unable to print my uhaul contract. Then, I was given my keys for the truck I rented and it was 3 deep. I went back into the store and she asked me to move the other two uhaul vehicles for her so that I could get to mine. I by no means should have had to been the one to move the other uhaul equipment. I wasted 40 minutes there. The uhaul should have been ready for us and the paperwork should have been printed out. Terrible experience.Erin W.

I had picked a location on your reservation site and the place was to be open on Saturday until 4pm. We got there and it was closed. So thankfully we found another location that was open otherwise I wasn't sure what we were going to do with the trailer. Thankfully it all turned out. The location needs to change their hours on your reservation site.Angela Z.
Check in took a very long time. I wasn't given any paperwork at all. When I returned the vehicle, the attendant made me go outside in the freezing cold to bring him the mileage and gas total. Isn't that his job? Vehicle was clean and ran well. Booked on the phone, and was told the truck was taller than it was. My cargo barely fit. That could have been a real disaster, and did complicate things. I did have some good customer service on the phone, and was able to book on short notice and extend time when the trip went longer. When this location called me the phone number on caller ID showed a Texas location. I thought it was a junk call so I did not answer it. Almost lost my reservation.terry R.
The online experience was generally a nightmare and took far longer than a standard interaction. The cashier at the location did not seem to understand anything about the UHaul rental process. Given this experience, I will never choose the electronic process again.Travis T.

Worst customer service and overall consumer experience I have ever had. I will be sure to tell everyone on know and express on every social media outlet I can find. Completely unacceptable!!! And no one has gotten back to me from U haul still. Again, completely unprofessional...Scott H.
I called customer service one-way rental, and then decided to return it back to the same location. Uhaul charge me for the one-way rental Plus round trip fee ontop of it!!!! REALLY!! . It's going to be a long time before I rent from U-Haul again or recommend them to others after all this!George S.

I had an awful uhaul experience from pre rental to pick up to drop off. Before we submitted our rental online I called to inquire about us having a city to city move and the online registration not giving us the option to select a different drop off city. They said to book the rental and after it was booked they could help me adjust the drop off location to make sure it was right so I booked the rental. Then, there were bad storms and the power was out when I picked up the rental so it took longer than an hour to even get it and the person sitting outside the shell was not helpful. He basically said good luck and call uhaul cuz I can't help you. After we finally got the truck and got home to pack it up I noticed that the drop off location was listed as the same as the pick up location which wasn't okay because we were moving to a different city. We had an 8 day rental in order to pack and move to our new home. During that time I called uhaul at least 5 times to get my drop off location changed. I was frustrated everytime I called. I felt like I had to explain things everytime when I just wanted to make a simple change to my drop off location. I had two people tell me this wasn't possible even if I paid more before someone finally helped me make the change. After the change was made the drop off location want updated in my account so I called back in to try to figure out what to do with my truck at drop off. They then told me to just leave the truck and drop the keys which I was very hesitant to do because of the awful experience I had so far but this is what I did. Four days later I finally got my receipt. The charges looked accurate except for the gas I was charged for which didn't accurately represent the fuel end versus fuel begin on my rental because I never got to complete check in or check out on the vehicle and thus didn't get to personally submit the photos I had taken off the levels at start and finished, which matched. In the end, I simply did not care about this because I just wanted my experience with uhaul to be over with. I will never rent from them again.Sarah B.
The service was raunchy.The station is too small. The one person running it had to keep putting the gas/beer/ cigarette customers before Uhaul. I stood there for over 40 minutes. When I returned the truck, he asked ME to go back and read the miles and write them down for him! He was trying, but they are just trying to to make money without the space, time or manpower.Alicia E.

I was told to leave 7/16 tank of gas. How much is that? I wasn't sure either. I filled before I left the origin city and ended up only using 1/4 tank. That means there was over 10 extra gallons in the tank. I was still charged 7,80 $ for extra mileage. I didn't go anywhere in the truck I didn't need to and feel that it's was pretty petty. The operator at drop off said he had no option but to charge me. That should be changed.Mark W.
The guy from there wanted to sell me the biggest truck he had even though he had the medium one I wanted AND I had done everything online and just went to pick up the keys to the truck and HE HAD THEM but said that I didn't appear in his system and that he didn't have that truck. Ended up charging me almost 150 $for a truck that I didn't want. I was there for like 45 mins and I cancelled the contract but the guy from Customer Service said it was my problem not his. Very rude about it. Went to another gas station to rent one, and lasted there for Max 15 mins and he was very nice about it and I got the truck I wanted.Corin C.
This location needs training on system; trailer was given without electrical connector (I didn't realize it because I have my own, it was brought-up at drop-off). I reserved at the pick-up location of my choice, but was sent to this one. Took WAY TOO LONG to pick-up and go.David K.

UHaul representative was not knowledgable, he asked us to look at his computer "to sign in", odometer reading on receipt at time of truck pick up did not match the trucks odometer, UHaul representative giving us the truck started and stopped the transaction multiple times to take care of gas station customers, we returned the truck a day early and the representative said he didn't know how to give us a credit for this,,,,,,although we had always received a credit if we returned truck early in other states.....very poor experience, also wanted 28 $safe move and was only given 14 $safe move.....Leo V.

I have had nothing but issues with uhaul; I will never use them again. First issue I had my truck was canceled for no reason and Uhaul couldn't figure out why this happened, and I never got an email or anything about this cancellation. Then a week later I ordered a new one, but the people working there didn't ask for my name or my account number so they set me up with a whole new order. But they couldnt speak English so they got my name wrong and ended up giving someone else my original order under my name. Then when I returned the Uhaul that they did give me they proceeded to tell me it was my fault and was very unprofessional and argumentative with me. I also did not recive a receipt or paperwork from them. Nor did they inform me I had to fill up the tank so they argued with me about that. I will not be going back to this place, also I will be useing a different moving service from now on and refer others not to use Uhaul.MIRANDA S.

First of all i went to the place i so called rented it from on the web. And they told me it was not there. It was down the street. . ( i chose them because i hsve never had a bad experice with Grand Rental in appleton wis. Don't have anyone get there truck and trailer from them. The trailer was not even hooked onto the truck . ( My son and I try ed to hook it up. But it was to heavy for us to hook on. And it was frozen to the ground. If they used the truck to drop it off they should have kept it hooked on to the truck . They didn't come out to help until I got upset . Thenall they had was a rubber mallet to get the trailer out of the ice . I called the first place I went to and the young man from there came down in 10 min and had it hooked on in less then 5 min. Had me fallow back to the store and drop it off so I could load up the truck. And the next morning hiked the car trailer on the truck. Help me get my car on the trailer and showed me what to do. It was a gas station/quick mart with one employee. It takes a few minutes to complete the drop off process and he had to take customers in between the check out process....not his fault but we had to wait longer than we should have. The text sent with the drop off address should have listed the name of the location not just an address!!Debra E.
Door clamp was faulty, hitch kick was faulty, and got no assistance from this location with inspection before departure. Additionally, representatives that I spoke with when picking up the unit were extremely u prepared, had unreliable technology to confirm reservation, and tried to double charge me because they were unable to correctly use the online uhaul system. This was a terrible experience and I could not rate the process lower.Eric M.
The cashier who was assisting me didnt understand English very well and had a hard time communicating, both decided it would be best to order the uhaul online and come in for the key. At one point during the final steps online, the site crashed but reserved a truck for me to go inside to finish, which I was unaware of. Started over and finished the process and paid online. When I went in for the key he informed me there was 2 reservations but said he would delete one, however I'm assuming he deleted the wrong one because he asked for my card again to charge and I tried explaining to him I already paid but he didnt understand and said I wouldnt be charged twice, come to find out a day later I was. Called customer support and they helped immediately and am waiting to be refunded. Large inconvenience to have 500 $held from my account for a few days. Would recommend doing in person at this location in case a similar situation occurs.Kelsey L.

The process that this particular Uhaul service was run was questionable at least. I was not provided a printed copy of my receipt or rental agreement to even be able to see what the claimed gas level was at. I was told it would be email to me. When a person is moving access to a computer and their email is limited for a few days on a general basis. When the vehicle was returned and I filled the tank back to the level I had first rented it it, I was told the level was incorrect and that I needed to put more gas into it. When the vehicle was first returned, I was asked what the gas level was and could have been dishonest about the level as the staff would not have checked except I had told the truth and ended up paying for the gas from the previous customer as well. I have never received such poor and unprofessional service from a Uhaul representative as I did that day,Valarie S.

Very poor return service. Attendant would start waiting on me and then step away to provide gas stations transactions with other customers (purchasing cigarettes, lottery tickets,gas etc) I had to wait through at least 8 different transactions before he finally finished with me. Said he would credit me for excess gas I filled the tank with but didn't. I picked it up with 3/8 tank gas and returned it with 3/4 tank of gas. Had us take a picture of odometer and gas level because he wouldn't leave the checkout area. Then he had to call someone else on the phone to see what else he needed to do with a rental return. Clearly not very experienced and didn't have a command if the English language. Would not recommend this location for customer service.Paula S.

We couldn't find the lockbox, and the guy took the key for us, but it was not an easy site to return. Also, I got overcharged on my mileage, and the reservation changed my mileage without letting me know. I don't think I would rent from uhaul again since the return process was a nightmare.Katie P.
