Truck size I booked not available. Had to pickup from far location. Equipment I reserved (pads, folly) was not available. Computer issues caused extensive delays picking up truck. Could not return truck to closer location. Could not find key drop box on return.

Again Uhaul chose a location that was not suitable for those needing to travel back to their location. They picked it assuming it was closest to us. Bus service was unreliable and the person did not know how to tell us how to get a taxi. It took us 2 hours to get to our desired location what would have taken normally 15 minutes by car. We were also charged $25 dollars for being a little below the 3/4 tank. I felt this was insulting given the distances we had to endure at Uhaul's bidding. I paid $70 to get to the original location and three hours of lost time. Finally, when we arrived were berated for not leaving the truck across the street in a gas station location. There were no instructions for us to do this. Only to drop off in front of the Grant's. It was an engine shop so of course it was not an inviting location and no easy way of knowing where to park the truck.

There is nothing wrong with the location the problem is we booked appliance dollies and they didnt have any we should have been notified in advance not when I showed to pick up truck for that you get ZERO stars had drive around to find one and never did

Not happy, I returned the vehicle within 6 hours of using it. I was charged for 2 days rental!!!? I spoke to a representative the morning after I returned the truck and explained that I took a picture of the odometer when I returned it, but I had already returned the key before filling out the online return. So I wasn't able to properly do the online return. I responded to an email indicating this charge explaining the situation and I was still charged for 2 days. Another issue I had was the moving blankets I requested with my reservation were not available. I was not charged for them, but a huge inconvenience when you rely on having these items as part of the reservation.

The manager of the shop forgot to wear his glasses and mixed my contract up with someone else's, saying I owed another $6000.! even though the odometer registered a different number than the actual truck! However, the truck was fabulous…..smooth ride, comfortable seats, easily driven…mountains and all.

Charged twice for 1 day! and agent was useless

The owner at Grant's (presumably Grant!) was very accommodating as we were late to pick up the truck and ultimately came by the next morning to get it. Very efficient in getting the truck and it was clean and ready to go.

Back of box was full of dry-wall dust Had requested truck at a certain location. Had to pick it up 15km across town, than was charged for over mileage due to different pick up location.

The trailer did smell like a whole bunch of beer empties, but clean otherwise.

My reviews here conflict because the guys were great at answering my questions and easing my concerns…but nobody went over anything with me on the truck…just gave me a key. The truck was filthy inside had obviously not been cleaned…I had to myself with bleach and water. The hood latch on the truck did not work…needed two people to open…one to pull up on the hood while another pulled the latch…which made me wonder when things were checked last. Also I did not receive the size truck I had reserved but bigger than I wanted or needed but was supposed to still have it at the price of the smaller but was not charged accordingly. Still awaiting a refund…but this had nothing to do with Grants location but uhaul itself as Grants is just a pick up location…so if needing any supplies you still need to go to a uhaul location…which then sold me a lock that didn't fit to lock the truck 

There was no issue with the pickup location, the issues I encountered were solely with the processes and systems provided by Uhaul. I paid alot of money to reserve a truck for a move with a very strict time-line. The day prior to my scheduled pick-up I received a call from a Uhaul representative informing me that they dont have a truck at the location I chose, so my only option was to pick one up 10 km from my home. In addition, the truck was not clean(!), and had Arizona license plates. Not good for multiple obvious reasons being a Canadian driving across BC.

All good for the drop off

Space was limited so drop off for a 26' truck was hard. And Uhaul doesnt have this location easily accessible on their website for some reason making it hard for booking nd on their side for pick up and drop off.

Nice friendly guy who waited on us but wasn't too organized, laptop not plugged in, had trouble filling out the reservation but a really nice guy.
