Not all these comments apply to this location. Original pick up site was Altamonte Springs, but had to change to Apopka due to no truck available. Mileage calculation was way off due to this (distance to apt where we were loading up and getting through Orlando), and given distance to drop off various sites in/around Bradention. Nothing was closer than 25 miles from where we unloaded! I was charged for the overage!! Very unhappy on that. Not only that, but lady at Gravely's told me clearly I would not be charged for extra miles AND that I was due a refund as vehicles turned in one day early. NOT on either.MICHAEL B.

Do not rent from 10180 Internet Place Bradenton, FL. They did not have the truck I rented on line more than three weeks prior. When I arrived, they first stated that a customer had not returned the truck. Later in a conversation with a corporate rep, I overheard the local uhaul rep say they were not even expecting to have the 10 foot at their location. The local rep seemed like I was inconveniencing her ! She couldn't care less if I had a truck or not. After about 20 minutes she offered me a van for a local move at another location. My original reservation was for a one way trip to North Carolina. Fortunately, the other location (Gravely), had the equipment I needed. They were 20 minutes away, but couldn't have been more helpful. Overall, the start of my move was delayed by more than two hours. Uhaul is supposed to contact you the day before your reservation to confirm the rental, location, etc. This never happened. So in hindsight I shouldn't have been surprised that the equipment was not available at the 10180 Internet place location when I arrived. I called the uhaul 800 â€œcustomer serviceâ€ number to tell them about my experience. They argued with me that I did receive an email about the equipment not being available. I asked them the date of the email and they responded it was the pickup date. I then asked them what time it was sent and they said 9:20 am. So while I was standing in front of and talking to the local uhaul rep, she sent me an email telling me the equipment wasn't available. CYA or just incompetent ? Finally, the CS rep offered me a $50 credit for my inconvenience. They call it a Reservation Guarantee, which basically says if uhaul does not have your equipment at the location you chose at the time you chose they will give you a $50 credit. I don't know who they think will be satisfied with $50. I certainly was not and refused it. They say it holds themselves accountable. $50 is not accountability, 50 % of the contracted amount would be accountability ! $50 is go away money and don't bother us. Most people who rent a moving truck are making life changing decisions and $50 is nowhere near enough compensation when those plans are disrupted. You have been forewarned, DO NOT RENT FROM UHAUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!William K.

I really had no trouble with the vehicle; but I do think the brakes need looking at. UHaul picked the dealer; I booked the rental at MidGard on 70; thought I'd pick the vehicle up there; but it was assigned to GravelyFrederick W.
This is how I would expect to be treated. I returned the trailer to the location here in Florida. When I pulled in I was met with a UHaul representative and she went over the check in process. She was very pleasant and professional. After checking me in she asked in a very polite manor to park the trailer in a specific spot and I did willingly. This is what I expected and It was a nice way to end a very long trip. There is no doubt that I will rent from UHaul again.JAMES O.

The trailer we rented had a tire that was bald and had a slow leak in it. When we got to our destination the tire was flat. Also the straps to secure the front tire of the vehicle we were towing had previously been ripped to shreds and too short to reach the ratchet. Luckily my husband planned ahead and is a good driver. He brought additional ratchet straps and he was able to control the fish tailing when the tire kept losing air.Charity F.

Have someone there at location during business hours posted and if they are not at location during business hours don't charge the person you say I have it back by 12:45 I'm there at 12:30 but you guys aren't and I get charged for it doesn't sit well with meRoy Y.

The vehicle/truck was filthy inside & out. I took photos of the cabin interior as well as the back. The windows were very dirty. The dashboard lights were so dim at night it was very difficult to see my speed. I wasted an hour to wipe/sweep it before I put my stuff in it. I've used uhaul MANY times & never had a truck so nasty.Mary H.

There was no furniture pads I paid for or regular dolly in the truck. I had to find someone working there and have them give me the only thing available. An app Alia free dolly. It would have been nice to know these items weren't available prior to me being charged $1k. Also, these items were needed badly, I should have been told they were not going to be provided so I could have bought my own. Horrible experience. The truck cab was disgusting. Heat index over 100 degrees, your skin stings from the thick air, but even with sweat pouring down this Florida lady she stopped cleaning a 30 foot RV to smile, greet us, and extend a drop location. Her name is "Heather"and if there was a time to acknowledge both her and her male co worker it is now. To be apart of hard working individuals in the crippling heat is most humbling. I rented. 6 x 12 trailer and it fell off the hitch going over a speed bump. Either the equipment isn't maintained properly or the person who attached it needs better training. This cause us hour of delay but if it happened on the highway this could have led to injury or death. Needless to see we were very u satisfied and have lost trust in Uhaul.Aaron R.
Make the sign more visible. You only have a small sign on the ground that indicated uHaul at that location. The trucks and trailers are behind a solid fence, so you can't even tell it is a uHaul location.Larissa P.

Rental Experience: The trailer was not available at the reserved date/time or location. My reservation time/location was moved four times and did not receive my trailer until the fourth location. The first location did not have a trailer. The second rental location I was sent to, approximately 20min drive, did not exist, the third location had no trailer because the wrong date was reserved. Uhaul should not reserve trucks/trailers they do not have available. Also, Uhaul should start verifying if the rental locations they list and the hours of operation of the rental locations are correct. This year alone, I have had seven occurrences where the times listed were wrong or there was no Uhaul location at the provided address.Jose C.

The people I dealt with there were very kind and pleasant, and it was a good experience overall. The only issue was I had made my reservation to be picked up at 9a, and the office was locked and I had to call a number to get someone to the office, so that took about 15-20 minutes just to get someone to the office...and I was on a bit of a time crunch. But, as I said, once she arrived, both she and the gent that was helping her (and who had helped me reach out to get her to the office) were delightful. Thanks for considering my thoughts!Greg C.
When I arrived to pick up the 6x12 enclosed cargo trailer, there was an issue with my tow vehicle's trailer electric connector. Upon suggesting the possibility of a bad fuse, the Uhaul attendant located and replaced a blown fuse in my vehicle- even gave me a spare fuse in case it failed again. The entire experience was incredibly difficult and disappointing. My on line reservation showed the wrong pickup time and, apparently, the wrong location. The location was changed without notice to me, so when I tried to pick up the truck when the erroneous time, both of which I confirmed by phone twice, I was not at the changed location, some 15 miles away. Between these errors I was delayed 3 hours. The padlock would not work with the key provided. I thank God I tried it before I locked the cargo box full of stuff and drove 150 miles. The truck key provided would not lock the drivers side or passenger side doors due to bad door lock. The passeneger door would not close correctly. I could do I the but the whole experience has left me exhausted with U Haul.Thomas B.

I rented a truck and drove it about 15 miles, I signed an agreement that I would be charged $5,15 per gallon for gasoline if I did not return it back to the level at which I picked it up. Imagine my surprise when I got charged $46,04 for gasoline, that is almost 9 gallons of gasoline,I will not use this location againShirley J.

I went to pick up a trailer and the door was bolt locked shut. Then a lady yelled at me from the side of the building that she was coming. I step inside and she said I was at the wrong location but wanted the business so I stayed. She stated that she could have it transferred to her store. I stayed there while she did everything in which she wasn't the most polite. She then tells me to grab a trailer with literally no direction. I go outside to get one and I'm not sure as to which one to grab. She confirms the right one and I had to hook up the trailer and do everything myself. She confirmed the trailer and I left. I also confirmed that it was a one way trailer rental to GA. She calls me today after I spend 45 mins at the drop off location in Decatur Ga because they had no record of my trailer rental and they thought it was stolen. Which it wasn't and I showed them my rental agreement and they were very nice to help me out. Then I get a call from The lady in Bradenton Fl stating that I taken the wrong trailer, ( mind you ) this was the trailer that I had confirmed with her before I left her property? Then I get a bill for after hours drop off, I get charged for several things that I didn't know about and she told me when I called her back to ask about the additional charges that it's to bad to call uhaul. She can't do anything, call uhaul. There's a reason why I don't use that location. I've rental several uhauls not just for myself but through my company and the company I work for. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. If I could provide negative stars I would. My business relies on word of mouth business and online reviews However this was the worst experience. It's honestly been so bad that we may complete switch to Penske for our future rental needs. I will also be reaching out to the corporate office about the lack of professionalism that this establishment has for their customer base.Daniel D.
