When I made the original reservation, I checked with my personal insurance, and verified that my coverage made the SafeMove Plus option unnecessary. I did not include SafeMove Plus in my reservation. I also reserved for pick up at a different location, but it was changed to this one the day before the scheduled pickup. Greg, the proprietor of this location, added the SafeMove Plus option *without my consent* (he did not mention it when we spoke with him to take the truck). I called Uhaul corporate and they verified the coverage was added at the pickup site. I have filed for a refund.

Only disappointment was that the truck had only 1/2 tank of gas upon pickup so we were instructed to return it to the location in Indianapolis with 1/2 tank of gas. This wasn't communicated within the uHaul system and therefore we were charged an extra $32 for returning the truck without filling the tank.

We came in from Kansas City and knew we needed to get this returned by 7pm when the store closed. We called at 6:45pm to say we were on the way and no one answered. We arrived at 6:55pm as the guy was backing out of the parking lot. He did return long enough to tell my husband where to put the trailer, went inside the store for a second, and then rode off on his bicycle saying he wanted to get a ride in. Maybe he checked us in.

They were expecting me and had the truck all ready to go. Did everything on line and I was out in like 10 minutes. Excellent job by the guy in the shop. I would not hesitate to use him again.

I was supposed to get the truck at another location in town but it wasn't there when I arrived. When making the reservation, I told the U-haul call center I could not get the truck until 5:30 PM at the earliest. The U-haul call center said this would be fine and that I could pick up the truck anytime before the U-haul store closes at 8:00 PM and that I could have the truck for 24 hours from the time I first picked it up. The first U-haul store said I could get my reserved truck from the Watt's Rd./GS Ski Shop location. They were in contact with Watt's Rd/GS Ski Shop bum owner via U-haul chat. He said come on over to get truck at 6:20 PM knowing he would be closing soon at 6:30. I arrived at 6:25 and his shop was closed and he was no where in sight. He made me wait until 8:00 AM the next day. This was not ideal. Had to reschedule with moving company to come and help load truck. Will never use this ski bum again. Life isn't all about skiing. Welcome to the real world, welcome to work...

The pick up point was not the central location and was not set up as a business office (in a ski shop). Hard to find actual office although unhaul trucks out in front.

The truck was clean but not that clean. It was covered in bugs and the cup holder had slime coffee stains in the bottom and it wasn’t quite filled all the way as I was told it was but I filled it when I dropped it off so I wouldn’t get charged a fee. Guy that we got it from was a great guy and I don’t think he has the facilities to spray it down so that’s really not his fault.

Better train the staff. I had to climb out if my window because the guy didnt know how to get my door open once on the transport. My car wasn’t locked on right and it almsot rolled off. I had to drive slow to a nrwrby UHual to fix it. I wasn't asked about insurance and wasn't given a contract

I don't remember the gentleman's name, but he was really outstanding and helpful. I called him with questions before my pick-up date and he was helpful. He was also very friendly when I picked up the truck. The truck was clean and easy to use. I would recommend that everyone be like this guy. 10 out of 10.

It was a little crowded in the actual location, with ski stuff all around. I would have a set aside location and make it clearer that its a uhaul location. If not for the truck parked outside, it would have been very hard to find it.

Pick-up was scheduled online for 10:00 a.m., but the store doesn't officially open until 10:30 a.m.. Fortunately the guy was there early, so there was no problem, but that's something that could be an issue in the future.

Computer system didn't seem to work at all. I have 3 authorizations on my credit card and none of my reservations or receipts tell me how much I paid. I reserved it for $89 but I have 3 holds of over $130 on my credit card.

The truck ramp was broken. A bracket had broken at the weld, making it nearly impossible to get out alone, and completely impossible to retract alone. The break point had rust on it, indicating it had been that way for a while and no one bothered to fix it. The U-Haul rep did come out to help, and that was a definite plus. But this truck needs to be out of service until fixed. I also did not ask for, nor want "safemove" but was charged for it.
