I had nothing but issues with this rental! I'd give no stars if I could due to the chaos I had. First off I did the reservation online at 9am to pick up a 26' foot truck and was given a guarantee that it would be there and available for pickup at my requested time of 12 noon or I'd receive 50 $. Well at 1041am I received a text message that they would be leaving this location and not be returning until 130. So I called the number provided in the text and the lady said if I could make it up there before 11 she would get me the truck, I explained that I was 30mins from them and it was not possible to get there by that time. I asked why I wasnt called sooner (within the 2 hours I did my reservation) and she said she didnt notice my reservation until just than and sent me the text. Secondly we showed up to pick up the truck at 130 and we stood in the office with no acknowledgment for almost 30 mins before one of the 2 ladies there started to help us. They said they couldnt accept my card because it was a prepaid card and I told the lady I had just used it to rent a trailer a couple weeks prior at a location on the other side of town and that it charges a deposit which is just fine and she told I was wrong and wouldn't use my card so my sister had to pay for it. So she proceeds to give us the basic info of making sure the truck is clean and same amount of fuel in it upon return and being frustrated I said I doubt its clean now because I have yet to get a truck that is clean. Being assured they've inspected it and that it is indeed clean they than went to go get the truck for us and she came back and said we couldnt have it because the catalytic converter had been cut off of it! At this point I went outside and was furious! So what we were offered and ended up having to take was a 20' truck and a 5x8 trailer! Absolutely NOT what I had tried renting! So now we had to hook to a trailer that was not part of what we needed to be doing and the woman instead of guiding me to the trailer walks away and goes over to the truck and gets my sister set up with that as I by myself have to get guided to hook to the trailer. After having to get in and out multiple times to get to the hitch i now have mud all over the floorboard of my truck because there equipment is parked in the mud of all places the woman finally comes to help and get an attitude with me and tells me it's not part of their services to hook the trailer to my hitch... tells me I could help her which I do and in the process of holding the trailer up I end up with this womans butt in my face! Seriously!!! Unprofessional to say the least! So as I get the trailer hooked to my hitch (which the woman had no idea what she was doing to say the least as she shook my whole truck because she didnt know how to get the trailer onto my ball hitch!) I go to get the cord to plug in the lights and theres no cord! Her statement was " Oh they took that too, let me get one off this other trailer". I thought are you serious!?! And you claim you inspected these and they are good to rent out...not likely. I have never had such a horrible experience! So reservation to pick up a 26' truck at 12 ended up having to take a 20' truck and 5x8 trailer and didnt get to be on my way until 3pm! Absolutely awful!Rose S.

We went to this location because the original reservation location had left the wrong key in the lockbox. The lady here was very helpful and thankfully got us the truck we needed, although our entire schedule was thrown off and ended up costing us a lot more money!THERESA P.
Only gave 4 stars because I signed up for mobile pickup but when we arrived at 8am as scheduled, I got an error that I had to do the in person pickup. That put us an hour behind plus we had to burn an hour. Lisa was very professional and was apologetic for the error. She did a great job considering the mistake. The vehicle half way thru the trip gave us several warnings for the traction control and stability control, indicating maintenance required. Also right rear tire kept going flat. Reported problems to the U haul destination when we turned in vehicle. Didn't seem to make them any difference. Also returned vehicle with a full tank of fuel. Not half tank as in the way we started out. Also I rented the vehicle from Extreme Accessories which was located near where we lived and was planning on vehicle being at that location not on the other end of town. And when I verified the rental U haul never indicated my rental was going to be located in a different part of town. Which added about 11/2 to our trip.Jerry F.

The customer service end of things was great. The lady at the office was very pleasant. However, the truck was awful to drive. The front end of the truck had some sort of issue that caused a great deal of play in the front end. When you held the wheel straight, the front end would still have play in it. This meant that I had to drive about 45 mph the entire trip in order to feel safe and confident that I wouldn't hit a bump and then not be able to control the truck. I hoped that putting a load on the truck would help but it didn't. JoshJosh V.
Inside was not clean when we received it. We swept it before we returned it. The parking lot was do tight that there was no way to back out of spot without hitting something do my husband pulled forward through the grass and the clerk was very rude when we returned the vehicle which was returned earlier than needed to be.Brian F.

The truck share system was not working when I tried to pick up my uhaul so I had to go in and work with a rep anyway. The dolly I ordered was not in the truck either.Colin H.

The app is a challenge especially when the cellular internet service isn't good in the area. Maybe offer the option of offering public wi-fi at the location of pick so it doesn't take several attempts to complete the information on the app. Also, in an email bullet point the requirements so when you need to provide additional contact person you can alert the person to be expecting a call from an unknown number to prepare when U-Haul calls to verify.Dan O.

We had a huge problem with this rental from start to finish. We rented a 10 foot truck and a tow dolly. It all started with not having the truck we rented and put us in a 15 foot. This ultimately making us spend much more in gas the whole way home. Then we go onto the tow dolly. The straps and chains and ratchet were not in working order. The straps that actually hold onto the wheel of the car were cut. The safety chain was knotted or kinked so bad that is was not usable. We had to call for assistance and you sent out a wrecker to assist and you sent C & C towing and the drivers name was Larry and he was very confrontational from the very beginning. He got out and looked at the chain and said that we didn't really need it to begin with and pushed papers in our face to sign. We refused to sign them because he refused to look or attempt to fix the problems and said they only told him to fix the chain. Well he did not fix anything and there were more issues than just the chain to begin with. He contacted his dispatch and asked them what he needed to do and they just told him to leave.. No help, no nothing. My husband was arguing with him and asked if he was going to take responsibility if the car fell off the dolly on the way home, appx 400 miles and he said he accepts no responsibility for nothing and said sign this Fucking paper (his words). He proceeds to get out of the truck and tries to fight my husband. Literally fight......we called you all back again to figure something out and she had no idea what to do locally and we asked you all for a new dolly and you said there was not one anywhere close to us. We called the local person and she finally found one coming right out of the shop and it was exchanged to that one. All things were in working order with that one and the corporate number could not find that one???? This process took over 5 hours of and we had to wait to get on the road until the next morning so we had to stay another night costing even more money. When talking to the people at Holiday Inn, they said they are a problem wrecking company that you all sent out to us. They have a terrible reputation for being nasty and confrontational and the owner of the company actually pulled a gun on one of your agents at uhaul. How can you actually employ a company like this? We were told that they have been reported lots of times. Larry tried to fight my husband as I said earlier and this is not a he said she said deal, there were many witnesses there. I have called corporate 4 times and today will be the 5th. I explained in detail what happened and every time, I was told that I would get a call back from management at corporate and till this day 5/15/20, we have still not gotten a call. I asked for a refund of the rental, and we got a measly 50 refund. That is not acceptable, We were threatened by your representative, put our car at risk, wasted 5 hours of our time to fix your issue, had to stay an extra night at a hotel, and wasted even mJames E.

Uhaul and NOT the pick up location cancelled my reservation. I praise the lady at the CMB motor for her persistent in locating a trailer at another location that I was able to use. Uhual itself webpage is terrible and not user friendly at all. It is unclear as to why my reservation was cancelled it said by customer which is not true. I did not cancel. Beside the extra gas and extended time to pick up the trailer and waiting for one to be found, I would recommend both facilities as I know the error was not with them.Karen S.

Be on time know your reservations and prepare for them If you have a customer who is elderly or needs assistance it would be nice if you took that into consideration Also be sure the equipment that is on your reservations is supplied to a customer before they leave out of your facility Usually an email in advance to confirm reservations is also done and that was not done either might have spared us both a lot of grief and expense I am a uhaul customer and have been all my life in various states this location should review Uhaul customer guidelinesBoydette S.

The truck had exterior damage before pick up. The passenger side mirror fell off while traveling on the Interstate to Arizona. It would have been nice to have a Side Mirror while driving. I hope it doesn't happen to the next customer.DOUGLAS C.
