The 24/7 pick up was fine. It was easy to locate the key and submit the information. However, the truck was SUPER dirty - trash on the floor, under the seats, in the cupholdersand plus steering wheel was very sticky) the shocks seemed really bad (every bump was felt inside).Isabel A.
The attendant started to help me but he would stop and attend to other gas station istomers whenever one would come in the store. So I stood there as multiple people came in after me and were helped first. The whole process shouldn't have taken this long. In the end he clicked boxes that said things like â€œI have read the above paragraph to the renterâ€ and yet he didn't. He also didn't ask me where I was returning the trailer so he just randomly picked on for me. I wouldn't catch the significance of this until I tried to return the trailer to the place that is five minutes from my destination only to be told that I should have driven another hour to return it to a place that the pickup attendant randomly selected.Sheldon N.

The convenient store owner called me and said if I don't return the U-Haul right now he was going to charge me for another day when I technically had the U-Haul for 24 hours. I called U-Haul customer service and they were great and they took care of everything. I didn't appreciate the owner threatening me like that.ROY F.

I reserved equipment 2 weeks in advance, the day before I was to pick up I get email stating my preferred location didn't have the truck available. So I had to drive farther to new location. When we got there the location didn't have the hand truck and blankets that were on the contract. I had to go to a third location to get hand truck and blankets. Totally wasted evening, should have taken a half hour and spent all evening driving around.JOHN F.
No assistance at this location. I got charged the wrong amount not once but twice on my CC. I've rented numerous times from other uhaul locations and never had any issues. I would not recommend this location at all.ORLANDO H.

I had ordered moving blankets and they do not have any at this location. Equipment was late being returned so I had to wait to pickup later then I expected. There was no inperson return and I couldnt get the app to take pictures.Joseph B.

The store was clean, well lit and everything Uhaul was displayed in an orderly fashion. I mistakenly left my drivers license, he made sure that I got it back by calling us and letting us know before we brought back the equipment. We appreciated the honesty. We should receive a refund. The appliance hand truck was dirty however, the belt on the truck did not work. The belt kept slipping through the ring that was supposed to hold it because the ring wan not soddered shut. rendering the use of the truck as unusable.DONA C.

The vehicle's fuel gauge was on E when I picked it up. The location was conveniently a gas station, so that worked out for the location's owner. The vehicle's check engine light was on, it was out of wiper fluid, and the entire vehice smelled like rodent urine. The entire experience was horrible and severely damaged Uhaul's reputation in my opinion. I've never written a negative email before. Their hours helped me tons after an extremely horrible experience at the first store, a major goof up for second store (customer service call in)and three times the charm with this location at Guilbeau. The Service Advisor did not know what he was doing. He was trying to pull up my Reservation on his phone. I was there for over 30 minutes when I had done all my preregistration Online so I didn't have to be there so long. He does not go outside with you at all. If someone new had to connect the Trailer and didn't know how. They would be lost. Very unprofessional location and I got charged for two days when I returned my equipment within the 24 hour period.Gabriel M.

The truck smelled terrible when we first got in. Upon opening the back part, the smell got worse! There was urine, feces, and vomit all over the back. I did not want to put my stuff in there at all. The man at the location was kind enough to wash it off for us and let us keep it for longer. But they should check the trucks before renting them out in such poor conditions.LUZ M.

Being that it was a gas station it was hard to find the drop off location. Attendant was reap ok ansible for staying inside so drop off was not as friendly as pick upBurt B.
The address above was not my drop off location, I had to drop it off at 9444 Bandera Rd. San Antonio, TX 78250 so, do not put this survey on the above address, please. Barely found the place where we had to drop the truck to, did not even know it was a U-Haul. I explain to the employee that was there(didn't get his name) about the one issue I had and he told me he would look at it when he got a chance. The issue was the back roll up door, it open and closed fine for me all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Then after my last load to storage it open fine, when I was done went to close the door and it would not close. I notice the cable had come loose, don't know how that happened because we never hit it or anything else was done to it. So, I hope I was not charged for that because, I/we did nothing to make the cable come loose.Lenny H.

I was told the cost of my rental would be $329 for a one way trip from San Antonio to Beggs oklahoma. I picked the truck up late, around 10 pm. Never signed anything or recieved any paperwork which I thought was odd. Next day I recieved a contract via email and discovered that I had been charged almost $700. Double what I was told originally! It's July and HOT. The AC did not WORK! I called customer service to complain about being charged double and recieving broken ass equipment and was told that I would need to file a complaint... I thought that's what the hell I was on the phone with customer service for? Needless to say U-haul scams people and don't give 2 shits whether they steal money from your childrens mouths or not. $700 for a 500 mile ONE WAY trip with no AC is absolutely rediculous!gary O.

Very nice gentleman helped me fill up gas tank and moved U-Haul for me. The dolly had bad tires which he was aware of, but got the job done. The inside had coke spilled all over the floor other than that it smelled clean and ran great for my trip.Virginia M.

The location of pick up wasn't the issue...U-haul itself was the problem...we arrived to pick up our truck and they're wasn't anyone there to help us, so the woman who worked there had to call U-haul and let them know we were there...after them trying to send us to another location and not being sure if they would have the size truck we needed and a couple of phone calls that lasted at least an hour and live chatting for about 30-45 minutes, we were finally able to get the truck...all of this because they were not at the location at the confirmed time of our pick up...Angelia K.
