I was confused at first on where to turn in the key. So I called the number and the guy said I had to come inside the gas station to return the key and I would receive an email. I was a little uneasy leaving the key with the store clerk, but he assured me that I was supposed to return the key to them inside the store. I felt okay doing that because I did see 2 other uhaul trucks parked behind the store. Sure enough, I did receive an email from from uhaul with my receipt.

The gentleman I picked my truck up from was very rude ! I reserve a pick up truck they didn't have any so customer care ask if I want truck or van .. I was agave a van and the guy didn't give me the van .. he was very rude and disrespectful... and I was over charge

At first, the gas station attendant, who spoke little English and didn't seem to understand much either, and who communicated via phone with the man in charge of the UHaul portion of the business, told me there was no reservation in my name, even though I was showing her the email confirming the reservation for that location. It took a trip to the main UHaul location to straighten it out. We finally got the truck two hours later, with no apology for the mixup. Everything was fine with the truck. All the extras (blankets, dollies, etc.) were in the truck and it was clean, but the customer service at the Chevron station left a lot to be desired. The man in charge should have been there to deal with it.

When I got there to pick up my rental. Equipment was missing, and I had to sift through all the vehicles to find the dolly that was at the location. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the missing equipment, yet I checked my receipt this morning and found out that I was. There was no customer service whatsoever. Never again.

The check in and check out process is frustrating. Even though I got there when no one was initially there they checked out people for about 15 minutes. I started to complain then they made me wait a while longer before assisting me. I would not rent from here ever again.

There is the Uhaul center that would have been much easier to work with, much more organized. There was nothing negative other than just organization of having a third-party gas station and the complications of that rather than a uhaul store.

This is a rip off. When I rented the equipment online my choice of drop off loca8was General Screven road in Hinesville GA. When I dropped it off at that location I called and told them and checked in the equipment. Now they charging me a fee for incorrect drop location. This is a Ripoff. I will dispute it with my credit card company. This is not the location that I dropped off the equipment. U HAUL got it wrong and is incorrectly and illegally charging me an unauthorized fee for incorrect drop off location. I never even been to Alabama.

At this time, I do not recommend this location. The owner of this location kept informing me (through the gas station clerk) that I did not have a reservation, even when presented with my email reservation confirmation. I was stranded at this location and had to call U-Haul to reconfirm my reservation. By the time I was able to speak with a u-Haul Customer Service Representative, significant time had elapsed. This owner delayed by moving and rendered me stranded at this location. The phone number to this location forwards to another number, where nobody answers or returns voicemails.

The cashier has no clue about truck rentals. She barely speaks English!! I had to wait 30 mins bc its a busy Chevron and she was the only person there. Everytime there was a new lotto person. The truck was terrible! Mufflers made me think I had a Harley Davidson. Also she has no idea about anything aboht Uhual. I will NEVER rent from a location that is not an actual Uhual site NVER AGAIN!

Not charge somebody double the amount for the uhaul they rented. I was told the entire total was $45.51. Highly frustrated I'm paying double the amount of money for a uhaul because someone isn't competent enough to do their job correctly.

I was not able to receive any of the dollies or blankets that I had reserved. The truck was filthy and full of dirt and pollen as if it had been sitting with the window down. I returned the truck back early between the time of 10-11 am, but was charged for another day. After being told I would not be charged for a dolly, I was still charged for one. Worst experience ever. Still waiting on my refund for the dolly and extra day charge.

The truck I rented had trash all in it. I had to collect it, then sweep out the back before I could even put my stuff in it. Pictures available if you want to see them. Thank you. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. I was thrilled the truck was onsite and available at the time for pickup. I was a little apprehensive upon returning it at 9:15PM. No one would check me back in. I was credited with return the next morning. Mgmt at this location are great.

This location needs to improve a lot or close this site. This was my first time renting an u-haul from this location due to convenience. There is no clear communication, no assistance, and no good customer service. I will not rent from the location again.

Recurring issue with the person reading the incoming gas hand. Actually checking the vehicle out with the customer could be beneficial. Reading the hand from inside the vehicle instead of leaning in. Also, having staff to work Uhaul primarily during business hours would eliminate confusion.

I called to speak to a representative who told me I can pick up and drop off a truck through the app no matter if the location is closed. I made a reservation online for 7 am. I arrived at my location at 630 am without any instructions as to how to pick up the truck. I called customer service who then told me I could not pick up my truck until 8. The location I was at did not allow for picking up outside of operation hours. Even though I called I was not informed about this and had to delay my move by an hour in order to get the truck. It was inconvenient to say the least.

The customer service was not very good. I had to wait an extremely long time to be assisted. The store clerk said that they didn't get money from the Uhaul transactions, and that was why he took care of about five or six customers before me. With this in mind, I almost took my business elsewhere because I didn't feel like my business was important.

Please make sure that the equipment is there. I needed two dolly's and was told that they don't keep them. Also I did the application online however once I arrived at the location to pick the truck up the speedy online service was working great up until it was time for me to take a photo and the darn thing stopped working. Which meant that I had to go inside of the gas station to start another application. So frustrated and annoyed.

The guy was super nice but it took 30 min even with a reservation because he had to stop every 10 secs to check someone out and he couldn't get the computer to pull up the info. Then the truck smelled terrible! Then I was charged 186.00 for 6 hours. The 19.95 deal was VERY misleading!

The customer service was truly lacking, when I return the truck the guy that waited on me was not very well informed he was not capable of giving me a receipt, I was told I would get my receipt in my email by the next day which did not happen and has not happened yet so it appears I'm going to have to make another trip to the location to get my receipt, I am not happy the lady wasn't courteous when I first rented it and he wasn't knowledgeable when I returned it so no I will not be Recommending this location
