There is a list of things that I was displeased with; - I was told that I would pick up the truck in West Babylon. The day before the rental they told me to go to Mastic Beach (35 miles away) -when I got there, I found out that it is a deli/U-Haul terminal. -the guy would help me/make sandwiches, help me/make sandwiches. This went on for 45 min -there were a lot of questionable people hanging around the store. A fist fight actually broke out. I did not feel safe. -I rented 12 moving blankets. When I got home, I realized that they were soaking wet. I could not use them. I am going to make some calls. I expect to be reimbursed for the price of the blanket rental. I would NEVER recommend U-Haul to anyone I know.

When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was told I had to wait while they took care of their Deli customers. When I returned the truck, I was told that I had to wait for them to take care of their deli customers. The impression I had was that I was not a customer. I had to wait around for someone to free up from making sandwiches. They sold have a separate employee that worked wit the truck rental aspects of their business. Or at least, treat their rental customers as if they were also customers. Not ignore them as if they had no other choice but to wait.

John RTruck came filled with sand was never properly cleaned. I was moving my home and had to spend almost 30mins cleaning the back of the truck pregnant so my items didn't get ruined or destroyed. But the service was absolutely amazing the guy that helped me was funny and made the process super easy for me

JOHN RThere was 1/4 tank of gas. Had to fill it to use. Left it with a 1/2 tank. Windshield was so dirty I had to stop and Windex the inside to see safety see the roadway. Should have got a refund for extra gas.

GEOFREY OEverything was great except for my mistake. They emailed my phone and I lost my phone for a couple of days in my friends car but I didn't know where it was. I thought I had to bring it back at 12 o'clock 1230 actually I called and that's what they told me 1224. It was 10 something I got charged an extra day even that I brought it back today. Is there something that could be done about this extra day? I don't have the van I brought it back at 12:30 please help me And everything was great with the van. Everything was great with the location very nice and everything except one of the guys made a mistake and he could get yelled at, but I didn't want him to get in trouble. I should've I should've went and got a receipt when I lost my phone , my phone

Deseree SThe truck that was rented made a sound like one of the tires was flat, upon inspection. I noticed none of the tires were flat, so I had to make extra trips, of time constraint I wasn't going to go back and get another U-Haul. Idk what that sound is but it caused me to worrie and not pack it to much were somthing would happen and I be liable, I did contact the handy pantry where I got it from on Mastic Road and Mastic, New York, and told them the situation also when I returned it, I wrote the list of things that were up to par . And in return, I vacuumed the inside cabin and the box truck in the back was filthy, dirty. I blew it out with my blower because I was moving my friends, expensive furniture, and didn't want all that dirt mushed into any of the items.. so I was supposed to call U-Haul about this and come up with a resolution because of the extra miles. I understand some of them but not all. I would like to come to some sort of arrangement we're both party's are fine with thanks . And I would like to pay today..

It wasn't my credit card I got charged on I need a hundred dollar refund on my visa I rented from handy pantry in mastic who said it wasn't them. I'm calling corporate and will be rewriting reviews. They lied.

EDWIN R1 star not intended for Handy Pantry but for Mikes One Stop - the location I was first assigned as drop off location. Location said they were no longer working with Uhaul. Had to call Uhaul and pushed around to 6 different people before finally getting reassigned to a different location after 45 minutes of waiting and re-explaining situation. Caused me to go over on my miles, waiting in cold parking lot, my ride was very frustrated.
Nicholas DI was misinformed by the rep. a family /owner- where I rented the truck-who told me that if by chance I added more gas on returning the vehicle than was provided at hiring..I would be reimbursed for the excess fuel.On returning I was told-no reimbursement. I am dissapointed..I am $60down plus additional charges added on for muleage I guess.No more U-Haul for me.
