Equipment itself was clean and usable however the lock to the lock box was frozen solid. There are no personnel at this location, the office appears permanently closed. We had to go home and get hot water to pour over the lock just to open it to retrieve the truck keys. It took about an hour to properly defrost the truck (did not want to risk damage to windshield or mirrors with aggressive scraping). It took an additional 30 minutes and pouring hot water on the back closure of the truck just to get it to open so that we could load it with our furniture. It seems that some care would be taken by the pickup/drop off location so that reserved trucks are ready for use at pick up time. Aside from this, the mobile check-in and drop-off process was smooth, the steps are easy to follow. I was charged a very reasonable amount for the fuel we used during our move. Will use U-Haul again but will be more prepared in winter months.Amanda M.
