Brief the customer on the online return process when renting. I took pictures of the odometer reading just prior to dropping the keys in the after hours drop box. Only after initiating the online return process did I realize I couldn't upload the picture I took…which meant I couldn't provide a picture.

When U-Haul switches the pickup location, the miles allocated to reach the destination needs to be supplemented enough for the customer to not have to pay for extra mileage. My destination was 192 miles from my house, but I still ended up paying for 10,1 miles extra. Not much mileage, but still not fair. The mileage when I left the pickup location was 37515.5. The mileage on the receipt is way off! It says the starting mileage was 29 273! WHAT?????

ordered pickup of truck at 2pm in Reston VA. At around 1pm received an email saying I could pick up truck at 6PM - (thumbs down). However, customer support was able to find me a truck (thumbs up) in Alexandria (thumbs down).. This meant picking up truck about an hour away, driving it home and then driving it back afterwards and also paying for gas to get truck to and from location

The 15 ft. Ford truck ran well enough but the steering was problematic. It seemed to be overly sensitive and required a tight grip to keep in the lane. The cargo area was clean but the cabin cup holders were dirty.

It was hard to pull out the U-Haul from the Nissan dealership to the main road. It would be nice if there was a way to access a side road for easier access to drive

While the Springfield and Terrell locations were excellent and helpful and efficient, our overall experience with Uhaul was dreadful! We live near Frederick, MD and contracted over a month in advance to pickup a 26' truck at 10:00 am on 8/26 at the Frederick Uhaul. When we arrived, there was no truck of any kind available for us even though we had help on hand and the loading planned for that day! As it turned out we had to drive over an hour to Springfield, VA to pick up a 20' truck as no 26' trucks were available. And then back again to md where we were not able to fit all our household into the 20 ft truck!! All I can say is, “that is a lousy way to run a business” and treat customers!

First of all, they gave me a tuck that had head & shoulders shampoo all over the back and a dolly I didn't ask for that banged around the whole time. Then they give me a truck that's NOT @ 1/2 full. A little under. I bring it back at 1/2. & they charge me for a gallon of fuel? Are you serious? Do you know how hard it is fo get the gas tank perfect? Why don't you give people a full truck and have them bring it back full? You aren't Enterprise. Then you just bill people without letting us dispute the bill first. I know you are being “contactless” but this is stupid. You can't even complain. It's cheaper just renting a truck from Home Depot. I used it exactly 3 hours and it was almost 100 $. That's insane.

Everything was great, but it was recorded as needing 7/8 filled tank when I got the truck with less than 3/4. Customer service (not from this location) said I was out of luck because I drove it off the lot, even though I had only driven it a couple miles.

The sales manager was very rude, he did not even stand to say anything to us, a woman finally showed us where to even drop the key the rest of the team was terrible and rude. The drop box is not visible anywhere and you have no idea where to park and return not a good experience at all.

Don't make folks wait over an hour after their appointment time to pickup a Uhaul equipment. Be on time. I was supposed to be home at 10pm after my road trip but I didn't get home till 3am. Because I had to wait to be helped. Lost time with my family.

They are new...dealership did not even know they had uhaul trucks on site...took 40 minutes to get the truck. Was told to drop off at any location in Richmond...contract had a phone number to call...30+ minutes on phone waiting...went to closest location, 45 minutes and they could not figure out how to take the truck back (another new location), so after wasting all this time, went to the VCU U-HAUL location during a rain storm and they were great!!

Had to pay to reserve equipment and movers. 1. They didn't fully communicate that the movers could only do one city not the other and don't answer the phone so I can get my refund back. 2. They are very rude and don't consider traffic as part of the reason that involves of moving. 3. Pamela at the Catonsville wasn't very well educated with what was said in the contract and took more off my card than I used.
