Locks are old and rusted. Took me 30 minutes to get it open. Also you should give the person renting the vehicle the lock box number (1,2,etc) rather than the serial number on padlock, as that was worn offNathan K.

I had a problem with the website in July and in August. I am an IT professional and the website needs some improvements. I selected a location and the equipment I needed but at the end the system gave me another location that I was not familiar with without an explanation, and so I had to call Uhaul. Additionally, the verification code should not be necessary if I have my user id and password. The process on the website was lengthy and unsuccessful. Automation should be an improvement and it was not. It shouldn't take that long to make a reservation. t tried three times on the website and still it didn't work. My experience on the phone with a representative was helpful, and a more pleasant experience, and successful.Millie B.

The uhaul was dirty inside and out. AC wasn't working. Drove to a uhaul service center and they couldn't fix AC. There was a huge chair left in the back of the truck that I had to dispose ofApril T.

The seat height in the pick up I rented wasn't adjustable and I could barely see over the dash. I am 5'4â€ which is the average height for a woman. Seat heights absolutely must be adjustable in order to accommodate half of the population. Not only men rent pick up trucks. This is a safety hazard to your vehicles and your customers.Anne Marie W.

The Uhaul attendant was nowhere to be found and someone from the car dealer had to go find him. Additionally, once he did arrive he said to leave the trailer and that he would make his rounds before the end of the day thus causing me to be late and paying for an additional day for the trailer. Definitely would not recommend to anyone to drop off their Uhaul equipment at this location let alone be charged for something they did not due.Alex B.

Please do routine maintenance on your vehicles. The shocks on our truck was so bad our items in the back fell and I also hit my head while in the passenger seat. The team at this location were nice and professional but give directions on where they are in the building.MAHOGANY W.

I rented a cargo van with contract order: 22649488. I was charged $20 for a fuel refill. I went to a station 0,8 miles away from the dealership and put in $13 worth of fuel. After which I turned the engine on to ensure it was above just under full making it the same in as it was out. I would have gladly paid at the pump if it was warranted however the gauge indicated it wasn't needed. I don't have a picture to validate my claim however it was the case. I do not feel it was fair to be charged. To add, after making a reservation this am. I traveled over 1 hr to get the van. At 08:55 I was called and told that should I not arrive at 0900 my reservation would be voided. I was told â€œthere are other customers in line waitingâ€ I advised the female who called that I would arrive at 0900. She then sounded peeved but stayed respectfully with that undertone. I arrived at 0900 and say 8+ customers and asked a couple at the front have they seen anyone to which they replied no. I then walked up the staircase, saw no one. I continued to walk(in a boot with broken ankle) to ensure I wasn't going to loose my reservation. This entire process was not conducive to wanting to return. To the contrary, I will not return and utilize a place that operates like that. I will however, tell my story exactly as it happened without interjecting anything other then the objective facts to anyone that will listen.Aaron H.
You can compensate customers for driving over an hour (twice) to pick up a trailer. You should not be using customers to move YOUR equipment around. Also I have been advised by several uhaul agents that you have compensated others for driving to pick up a trailer, just not me.Jean M.

I can't recall the gentleman name that assisted me please look it up he was excellent. He explained everything took his time. I was so pleased I'm going to use this location. They did not have a clean truck for me. The back area had trash in it. They also did not provide me the moving pads and dolly I had requested. Obviously, there was no one there to talk to at check out since i had to do self check out. The interior of the cab also was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. I have used uhaul numerous times before and this was the worst. I would rate you zero out of five stars for this experience.Jeremy L.

Everyone was nice but UHaul split my reservation wihtout notifying me and thus causing a 4+hr delay on my moving day which cascaded through my planned travel schedule for the next 3 days. UHaul also changed my return date to one day earlier without notifying me and charged me for the "overage". Additionally, I received phone calls from several people all asking the same questions and they all stated they did not know that someone else called me. There are some incredibly obvious and frustrating logistics gaps in UHaul's communications systems. There are many other truck rental companies available and I will not be using UHaul for any of my rental needs in the future.Mark M.
The rental location was convenient, and reserving the truck online was easy. I am not sure if I would go through the self pick up again, as it was a lengthy process on my phone, and returning was the same. Next time I will opt to go to the counter. I still had to go to the counter once I finished the process to pick up the key. The truck did not have a lick of fuel. I would prefer to pick it up full, and return it full.Debbie S.

The absolute BEST Uhaul truck we have ever rented. Usually they are old pieces of junk which are hard to drive. This was an almost brand new van! Thank you. The only negative was the website kept crashing during the mobile turn in process. It took about 40 minutes to try and go through the process. The 800 Uhaul number was also very backed up with over 30 minutes to speak to anyone. We never did speak with anyone and were able to get the turn in website to work.TIMOTHYJENS B.
