The online app has some apparent flaws that would not allow me to check in or drop off as efficiently as I would expect. Sheila was extremely helpful and was the reason why this most recent Uhaul experience was a positive one.

George D.The verification process on the app was absolutely horrific. I waited 40 minutes to be verified, which they never called my contact person, and the app chat feature did not work. When I finally called the u-Haul phone number and asked for a status update on my verification the woman was utterly confused and said “you should've been verified right away.†She then transferred me to live verification which said it would be 40 minutes to talk to someone. Luckily I switched back to see the app and it looks like she had pushed me through. I lost an hour of my rental time dealing with just getting the truck because their system is horrible. I will seriously think twice before choosing U-Haul again.
Christopher L.I have rented from Hartzels for many years and they are always so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing a rental van or truck.
William D.Nothing. Much better to rent from U-haul for local moving van needs vs. renting from the hardware stores such as Home Depot or the Lowes. I used the van for 7 hours and drove 50 miles for $60 with extra insurance. Good deal I thought. I like to see U-haul start offering trucks like the F-150's for rental.

LOUIS R.I was trying to originally get a truck from the orange big box store. It was never there. At uhaul I was able to schedule the truck and execute a perfect move on my time table. Booking truck was so easy. This is a way better option than big box rental.

ELIZABETH P.Was glad to be able to obtain a 9" Cargo Van. I was scheduled to get a 26' Truck ... which is too big for me. I only needed to move my kid to Columbus to attend another year at Ohio State Univ. It was only 1 bed and some furniture. The 9' Cargo Van was new ... it only had 11 000 miles. I hit heavy rain on the way to Columbus (from Cleveland)...wipers came on automatically. It was the most comfortable UHaul I ever rented.

LOUIS R.It was not noted when selecting a drop-off location that this is an entirely self-serve location. Unfortunately, the person accompanying me put the key into the box before the return process was complete. We attempted to contact U-Haul who attempted to put us in touch with the property owner, who took four and a half hours to get back to us. It would be helpful to note that this is entirely self-serve and provide more prominent instructions on the return process and indicate NOT to put the key into the lock box until it is completed.

Melinda F.I arrived at Hartsels to pick up my truck. Did everything off my phone. The truck i was supposed to get by the number was not on site only 1 truck in lot. Thought it was a APP error. I took truck it allowed me. Mileage did not match records on APP. I took picture of mileage while i was driving 88 662,6 - returned it with 88681.1. Tried calling Hartsels on 4-26-21 and no answer - rolls to cell phone and cant get thru - no service available. so far i have been charged $69,99 two times.
MICHAEL T.I ordered a dolly and there was not one there at time of pick up and no one was there to assist. We were moving a full size fridge and freezer and it was very difficult to move without one. It also took over 20 minutes to go through the scavenger hunt to get the key for pick up.

George K.UHaul the company wouldn't allow this location to brill this rental as a round trip returning truck to same location. Therefore it cost me an additional 100 dollars. Location was awesome, corporate UHaul is not!

William R.I had rented from uhaul before where you sign in and then go get your key. But this was a terrible adventure. I wasn't able to log into my account to get the key. I called the 800. number and was told I would be on hold for 39 minutes. I went back to my email and kept trying to get the info for getting the key. I finally got a local number and this man was very helpful in helping me get in the back of the truck for the key. I drove 12 miles to pick up a chair and then return the truck and it cost me $63 dollars. And you advertise 19.95. I paid the 19.95, then about the same amount for mileage and then a $14 dollar charge and a $5 charge I guess for insurance. Why??? I have State Farm Insurance that covers this. Please explain why a $19,95 truck rental cost me $63. I will not recommend Uhaul again.
